Sweet and angsty, small town romance set
An enjoyable 4 book series, centered in Warrenville, TX. The Ryder Ranch set includes the stories of each of the men in the Ryder family. All of whom were deeply impacted by the abandonment of Kimberly Ryder, wife to Mack and mother to Maverick, Hunter, and Wilder.
Book 1 is Hunter's story. Book 2 is Wilder's story. Book 3 is Maverick's story. Book 4 is Mack's story. All four stories intertwine, but collectively they are somewhat sequential.
The FMCs are strong, kind, forgiving, talented, and very capable. The MMCs are strong, capable, very protective, uber-responsible, and carry their own flaws and emotional baggage. The community is growing but generally close, friendly, and look out for one another. And the ranch is a thing of beauty.
I enjoyed all four books 📚. I found the writing in Book 2 to be exceptional. I did get a little fatigued with the stubborn resistance of the MMCs to whatever issue they felt was insurmountable to having the woman they wanted... and it did feel like we were spinning our wheels at some points. But the drive to care for and protect those they love was endearing.

Nice selection
A nice collection of stories, with a different feel for each book. All the characters are well developed and engaging, and I loved the family support across the books.

Awesome Box Set
Individually great reads, put in a box set totally awesome. This awesome box set is definitely worth the read. Once I started I had to complete. Recommend reading:)
