I had anticipated that this book would consist of collected stories concerning Palestinian children; however, it proved to be entirely different in nature. The narrative presents an account of the final surviving Palestinian boy, confined within what can be described as a glass box, trapped in the manner of an affliction. He was apprehended by Israeli forces and subsequently incarcerated, which I interpreted as representing an internment camp populated by ruthless Israeli personnel.
This book is, in fact, more aligned with science fiction, recounting events set in the year 2037, by which time the land of Palestine has ceased to exist. The work obliquely conveys the ongoing ethnic cleansing and genocide perpetrated by Israel, the merciless nature of the Israeli military, and also illustrates how Israel regards Palestinians, portraying them as a hazardous disease.
Moreover, the book employs analogical methods throughout, which likely results in varying interpretations among its readership. I completed this book within a single day due to its brevity, yet it required a full day of contemplation to fully comprehend the significance of each chapter. I consider a rating of three out of five to be appropriately reflective of this work's merits.
