Back in the last days of my comic book collecting there were only two artists that I really held in high regard, Mark Schultz's "Xenozoic Tales" and Dave Stevens "Rocketeer".
Dave Stevens was born July 29, 1955. His first professional comic work was inking Russ Manning's pencils for the Tarzan newspaper comic strip. Unfortunately Mr. Stevens passed away March 11, 2008 at the age of 52.
This book also appeared as a signed numbered edition from Urses books in 1991.
