Rate this book
After months of searching, Sydney Manning has finally found the answers she needs to unite with her soul mate, Dominick, a spirit who has been trapped between the worlds of life and death for the past two years. After discovering he has been alive and in a medically induced coma all along, she finally has a shot at a real life with her true love. Dominick finally awakes, and waits only a few stairs from her, finally alive and ready to resume the life they have created together in Dream-world. But in a cruel twist of fate, a pregnant Sydney rushes towards him, missing a stair and plummeting to the cold hard ground beneath; putting her life and the life of her unborn child in jeopardy; and falling into a coma. Meanwhile, on the Other-side—that cruel hateful world in between life and death—dark forces wait for her to become desperate enough to be willing to sell her soul to the devil, bargaining for another chance at life with Dominick and her child. Will Sydney make the biggest sacrifice of her life, and bargain with the Incubus? Or will she accept her fate and remain on the Other-side for eternity? Join her in this continuance of her search for love, life, and peace. This is Sydney’s story. Incubus

I like a book that keeps me thinking on it when its laid down and I’m doing dishes. Shhh, don’t tell anyone but I actually dreamed about this book when I took a nap. ;)

I found it to stir all of my emotions. I laughed out loud on more than one scene. There were a few parts that cause me to tear up and my heart strings were tugged hard.

There were scenes that stirred despair for me… as they were hard to read and actually caused me to lay the book down, shake my head – and wonder… Why Brooklin? … Why did you do that to my character?

“All Things Happen for a Reason”

From My Notes… taken while reading…
For the first part I was….
on the edge of my seat,
nauseated to my stomach
Layed the reader down in disgust
Come back as I had to know..
back on the edge of my seat
Scared… So very scared of what would happen.. of where you were taking me – why we would go there – why did you do this to me…
tears…
….and more tears
And that’s the END of Part One ~

I had to take a nap before continuing … I was so emotionally drained from the first half.

Part two was note less, as I was so into it that I didn’t jot down the first note. But I can tell ya this … wow… it was mind-blowing. Loved the bit of erotica you threw in there… whew girl that was HOT!

I am anxiously awaiting the next book.
