Loved it!!
The MCs are nearly as toxic as each other and I'm here for it 🔥

Got a chance to be an ARC reader for this book and it had me intrigued after the first few pages. Would have finished it in a day if it wasn't for chores. The book kept me engaged the whole time, with a few laughs in between. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick read, that will have you feeling all the feels.

I enjoyed this second book of the Triggered series but...ma'am! Why are you leaving me hanging like this?!! I need to know what happens next!

So in this book, Cassandra and Lance are now in a kind of friends with benefits/long distance relationship and are dealing with the difficulties that come with the territory, especially with Cassandra struggling immensely with her self worth, and creating a very toxic rapport between them.

It's easy to read and very short, so you can indulge it in one shot.
I liked how the author brought out the conflicting emotions of the characters, it felt relatable and real.

Now please tell me we're gonna hear from Cassie soon!

I loved this book, it was a small read but so healing! You identify with Lance and Cassandra! Their life isnt perfect, and frankly life nowadays is unnecessarily complicated with social media! You have to assume that life without it was simpler albeit slow!
They identify their issues, try to find a way to resolve it but the ending of the book is heartbreaking! I cant wait to read the next part! I hope their journey of self-realisation and growth continues! And I cant wait to go along with them for the whole ride!

This was a super quick read, I flew through it. It started off slow but picked up very quickly. It was interesting to read about Cassandra and her relatable traits when it comes to body image and relationships. I too have struggled with the same issues so it was refreshing to see it portrayed this way. Lance is such a sweetheart and I hope he proves Cassandra wrong. But man the cliffhanger.....I need to know what happens next 🙏

Cassandra and Lance made quit a pair. He wasn't expecting to see his stalker while on vacation. Cassandra was surprised to see Lance on her island. Lance couldn't believe that he was starting to be attracted to the woman that was talking about him. What a difference a vacation can make. I enjoyed reading this story.

Should they be together? - Cassandra's downward spiral due to A DREAM kicks off her and Lance's come-to-Jesus moment. Her self-esteem issues are causing her to act out; he's weary of dealing with her insecurities. Will these two friends turned lovers reconcile once and for all what each wants from the relationship? The trope warnings gave me an idea of what to expect, but Cass is over-the-top with her issues. And Lance is so sweet, even as he waffles between wanting to kiss her deeply and shake her fiercely. Short and steamy with a cliffhanger ending I want to see resolved.

Cassandra is one of those characters that I absolutely loathe because all of her bad qualities can be so relatable to the parts of yourself you don’t like when battling with low self esteem. This book so well written that it has you putting yourself in the situation and it may just make you uncomfortable to have to comfort yourself! Lance, he is just a sweet heart and also so relatable for those of us who love with our all even when it’s bad for us.

This is book 2 however I do not feel you must read book 1 in order to understand it.

This book is toxic AF, and it shows how strong the bounds of a toxic relationship are.

Even when you know you shouldn't stay that person keeps you hanging by a thread.

I came into this short story without reading the first book in the series. I loved this story so much. I totally identify with Cassandra's feelings. An anxious mind is a terrible place to be sometimes. I need to read the first book and any following books. I'm obsessed with finding out the future of Cassandra and Lance.
