Genesis
The only person that has ever loved Genesis ‘Krude’ DeCorte more than his family was Megan James. Contrary to everyone else’s efforts, the curvy beauty was semi-successful at calming the jokester for longer than a couple of days.
As their relationship grew, Megan felt that she was maturing alone. Desperate for him to wake up, Megan did the unthinkable and broke up with Krude. The problem was, Krude didn’t break up with her. He gave her some time and space, but that time was up. Determined to prove they belonged together, Krude went on a mission to reclaim his family.
He’s pulling no punches, especially since they have a baby shower being thrown in their honor.

Genesis Girl
I love a man that can make me laugh so I’ve been falling in love with Krude since the moment I meet him in Trenches. So I am over the moon that Author Aubry J. penned this story. I know some side characters are meant to be just that but I loved every moment of this story. I think good writing and storytelling is a talent and a skill but being about to right this level of humor is a gift! And I loved what Megan represented because sometimes it’s so hard to let someone love us, we’re so used to fighting that we don’t realize when we can stop because we are safe. For as funny as it was it was also beautiful and I love the strong FMCS Aubry gives us, the kind of sneak up on you. But that ending, let us pray!!

Genesis is a damn fool!!! Talk about unhinged in the best craziest way possible. He had a good heart and definitely loved him some Megan. I liked his family too. Gotta love a family that be down for some good shenanigans. Megan loved him too. Trying to play hard. Girl stop it lol. This was definitely a fun entertaining read that kept my attention.

K.M.B. with that ending!
You know that ending was real aggie. And for that, I'm really miffed. Anyway, Genesis was extremely childish and very funny. I'm certain I wouldn't have been able to deal with his foolishness. I had a time keeping up with all the characters and biblical names. Overall, I liked the story. It was a decent read.

One Word!!
Genesis DeCorte is one word!! UNHINGED!! 😂😂😂😂. The entire time in every chapter I had to say “This Ninja is crazy!!” And I love it!!! Lawd I cannot wait until them 7 DeCortes to come out guns blazing. And Fire and Polka Dot will be another great read! If you need a good laugh with tears running down your face this is the book. If you need to just have smile on your face when you read how much he loves Megan, this is the book for you!! So ready for Cross and Nine

I loved this so much. I laughed so much Genesis was himself unapologetically. Megan had no choice he was pregnant.
His family loved him for who he was. Wish it was longer Throughly enjoyed this.

Gotta love Genesis’ crazy ass! Yes, he was goofy, and did outlandish things to get on everyone’s nerves, but he had a heart of gold. He loved his family, and Megan, period. Not much mattered to him beyond that.
Now Miss Megan, you knew what you were getting into with Genesis when you met him three years ago. You entertained him, laughed with him, fell in love with him, now you want to change him? For what? Because YOU don’t feel he is mature enough??? Ma’am, go have several seats, cause ain’t nothing wrong with this man! Yes, he may eat cereal out of a pot, but he is a DeCorte' and will protect you with his life. She really made me angry, as SHE was the one with all the childish behavior! 😤🤬

Kruse is a real life fool 😭😭😭😭😭😭 something is really wrong with him😭😭😭 and I love every minute of it. I love how his family will curse him out but always down to ride with his crazy escapades. He knew Megan was IT for him and not coming up off her, he didnt care what she was talkig bout lol. Megan tried to fight it but I’m glad they got their HEA. But that ending babbyyyyy I need to know who got a death wish chileeeeee.

I had a feeling Genesis would end up being my favorite based on the glimpses we got of him in the previous books, but this one completely solidified his place.
I also really appreciated that the author stayed true to his character. It’s always disappointing when a fun, goofy character finally gets their own story and is suddenly written as serious losing the very traits that made them stand out in the first place.

To be loved by a Krude is the goal 😂
Baby this story did not disappoint! I smiled and laughed from the begging to the end! We already know he is a whole fool 🤣
What I loved most was seeing the difference between his personalities. Genesis is a loving man, mature, family man who loves his baby down. He stands on business behind her and her needs before she even knows it. But baby Krude is a whole fool out here in the streets! 😂 Krude is going to war behind Megan 365/7/24 with a smile. What makes this a great story is that you get to see a side of Krude that we don’t typically get to see in the backstory of the other books and we get to see just how deep his love run for Megan. I loved damn there every scene and the peak a book moments for the new stories that will come from this hilarious family group! Read it, you would not be disappointed

Krude was off the chain. I was cracking up. I get why Megan broke up with him but it felt like she broke up with him just because. She still wanted to be with him and didn’t want him anyone else. And her not saying anything was kinda annoying. Comparison is the thief of joy.
I love that the author put character visuals in the beginning even though I imagine some people like to visualize the characters themselves. There were a lot of characters for such a short story. There were parts that were definitely repetitive.

Krude is a d*mn fool but kept me laughing with his shenanigans. I won’t lie, if I came home to my man eating cereal out of a pot in a spiderman costume I would’ve walked out just like she did cause ain’t no way! However as childish as he is, he loved the hell outa Megan and let her know it all the time, reminding her they were meant to be.

Krude was a mess in a half but you gotta love him! It was refreshing to read a story where no cheating was involved. He loved Megan down with his overly dramatic shenanigans. I love the DeCorte family, the bickering and fussing at Krude all the time but they always held him down. Can’t help but want to be apart of a family like that.

Funny isn’t the word I’d used to describe Krude. I think childish and theatrical are better descriptors although I did laugh at a few of his antics. Krude played a little too much for me. Especially when it came to Judge and Ex.
I could definitely understand why Megan decided to break up with Krude. However, after a while, I thought Megan was being too stubborn and was happy Nyla got her together.
Since I didn’t read the other books that are in this series, I was hella confused about everyone’s relationship dynamic. (I didn’t find out it was a part of a series until I read the author’s note.) There’s a few paragraphs stating who’s related to who and who’s a friend but tbh there were so many names that I couldn’t be bothered with keeping everything straight.
Also, I wasn’t really invested in Krude and Megan’s relationship and this book wasn’t really written to drag me into it. (I assume reading the other books would’ve helped.) My first reaction to Krude’s attempts to get back with Megan was to either cringe or say “wtf?!” But then I’d think “this must be what their relationship is always like” so I let it ride.

definitely a sort of lighthearted quick & easy read. if you wanna read a book where you laugh at some of the antics that occur bc they’re so OUT THERE, this is what you’re looking for.

also there were soooo many characters in this book. i know this book is a short story connected to others, so just be aware reading this that if you aren’t familiar with the authors other books then the characters are gonna be a lot to remember.
however i did like the family scenes where you could just tell everyone had genuine love for eachother 🩷.

I loved this book!!! Genese is a damn fool no other way to describe him. I loved the writing style and the way we are able to see more of the family. God bless Megan for putting up with his ass backward ways. The fool loves hard is all that there is too it and he wants to make sure that his love in understood. I read pieces of me 1st and could wait to get to his book. Still need to read about the rest of this family because baby they are all over the place but crazy about and for each other. Krude is a jokester and the man pulled out all of the stops to make sure he got his women back and didn’t care who or what anyone had to say but he would be damned if they family didn’t help. When I say this book was hilariously funny and a good time!!! The DeCorte family has me wanting to be a fly on the wall and invited to all of the family fictions. Just know you will have a good time and in the safest place ever being with all of them. All in all this really is a second change romance that both parties love each other hard and just want the best for their relationship and growing family.
