One wouldn’t think that after something traumatic happens to you– that revenge would be off the table right? Wrong. I refuse to let what happened to me, fifteen years ago, define who I am today. Reconnecting with the only man who has managed to break my heart and piece it back together, I not only find love but I get my revenge as well. The real question is, when my inner demons come out to play, will the man I love still be here after he discovers everything?
Fifteen years. It’s been fifteen long years since that fateful day. Not only did I lose part of myself, but I lost the only woman I’ve ever loved. Following her off and on throughout the years did nothing but make my want, need, and hatred burn brighter than it ever has before… that is until I learned the truth of what happened. I will do everything within my power to make amends for my wrongdoings, but when certain things come to light– doing what needs to be done will be euphoric.
I wish I could give 0 stars. Not only just the plot jump and cut insanely fast, but the characters don’t make sense and it literally rips off quotes from other works like some weird AI copy. Don’t read this. It only gets worse from the jump.
Falling for the Luck of the Irish is a blend of second-chance romance, childhood friends reuniting, with a dash of motorcycle club drama all wrapped in one novella. This story follows Athena, a talented designer, who’s hired to create sensual spaces for a motorcycle club. But little does she know, Harlow, the club's president and her former everything, would be there. As they are forced confront their past traumas, Athena and Harlow realize their love never faded. The chemistry between them is undeniable and well written. The revenge plot was top tier, and all I’m saying is unicorn. I truly couldn’t get enough of all the spice sprinkled in this book along the modern references, book titles and songs!!
This story goes from - ‘I can’t believe you broke our pact, you’re dead to me’ to 15 years later she almost does die and now it’s ‘I love you never leave me.’ What kind of whiplash trope is this?! Talk to each other! Let’s break down the basics - communicate and listen. Beyond frustrating book to read and I mainly read this because I wanted a cute Irish story for St Patrick’s day. Nope. Barely any mention of it.
This was my first adventure with an MC romance, and I definitely liked it 😎
Athena and Harlow were childhood sweethearts who made a pact to give each other all their firsts. The night before her 16th birthday, Athena was drugged and raped. Desperately needing comfort, she rushes to Harlow, who not only believes she broke the pact but is deep in someone else.
15 years later, Athena still struggles with what happened, and Harlow is still angry until he learns the truth. Nothing will stand in their way now.
Amazing tale of first love, second chances, revenge in this spicy MC romance 😍 It's a quick read and definitely a good introduction to MC romance if you haven't read one before 👌

I love how each one of these gets better and better. I love how Athena got her power back. I was mad mad at Harlow at the beginning and then kinda fell in love with him. He let her handle the man that took what wasn't his away from her. Keep looking out for this authors books. You'll enjoy them.
On the day of their 16th birthday, Harlow and Athena were ready to fulfill the pact they made years ago. The one that they promised to be each other’s firsts- for everything.
When Athena wakes up on her birthday, she knows something isn’t right. When she realizes that she was set up in more way than one, her first instinct is to run to Harlow and ask for help. He would know exactly what to do. However, when she arrives to talk to him, her day goes from bad to worse. He wants nothing to do with her.
Harlow thinks Athena screwed him over by begging his best friend to be with her instead. However, no matter what went down, Harlow knows that he will always be obsessed with Athena and he knows that she will be his again one day. When he finds out what happened all those years ago, he is devastated by what he’s done to Athena and makes sure to prove himself to her everyday.
Ugh, this story was heartbreaking and I wish I could shake Harlow so he figured out the truth sooner! The way Athena loves Harlow is top of the line and proves that no matter what, he will always be the one for her. I wish this book was a little longer, because I would have loved more of their story. I did feel a few things were missing. I think that once Harlow proved how sorry he was, his love and obsession for Athena grew to be just as strong and albeit *slightly* toxic (I say slightly because if you’re reading this, toxic love is what we obsess about) their relationship was super adorable and I love it. I give this book 3.5 stars
The spice: 3/5 The character development: 3/5 (they already knew each but we didn’t know them so it is a little hard to rate this one) Overall: 3.5 (4/5)
Falling for the luck of the Irish is more of a novella. It’s roughly 100 pages. This story had SO MUCH potential. But the writing was so simplistic and the word building just wasn’t there. It also bothers me that Harlow and Athena were so close and saved themselves for each other that he just didn’t even see something tragic happened to her and believed a guy he barely knew. That defined his character right there!! He’s a douche!! She went through something tragic and the way she held herself together was amazing. But even after 15 years she sees him, he calls her names and degrades her AGAIN!!!! And then she’s just like ohh okay, I love you always have. Like wtf?!? Are you not even going to discuss it, tell about it some more. Just okay we’re fine let’s be together. Like what. The. Actual. Fuck. Who does that??? Even couples who go through tragic shit fight and talk it out or work for forgiveness. This girls like okay, I mean I cut myself for years and I’m starved looking and have night terrors so bad I couldn’t tell anyone. But ohhh you love me and you’re sorry. My bad. Just kidding let’s love each other. 😒 right. Yeah. Over it. This could’ve been written with such potential but no, she just said okay I’m over it. Only good part of this book was her cutting his dick apart then you made it a joke her getting her revenge by stapling his dick to his forehead and making him a unicorn… like what 😑 that was such badassery then you made it stupid. And putting a hockey stick in his mouth… with no description as to why or how like okay random you hyped the stick up and then didn’t even explain it.

Character motivations seem really murky. I also wonder what the novella might have been like if we saw more of Harlow and Athena before the first scene unfolds. Even a montage of moments they’d shared would be nice, to give something to support their unhinged devotion to each other.
Also, if Harlow really believed for the most part that Athena was in the wrong, would he really have pined for her for DECADES to the point of stalking, and a portrait tattoo? After all, his fury hadn’t abated any when they meet again as adults.
And there’s a detail of evidence on a flash drive or memory card or whatever, that somehow the villain knows is in play at long last. But this villain hadn’t ever retaliated to reclaim this proof of their crime until decades later, when they still don’t even try to reclaim it.
The “revenge” scene is also horrifically over the top.
Song titles are name-dropped on nearly every page. The playlist at the front would have sufficed by itself.
It’s also VERY short on relevance to St. Patrick’s Day, or Irish American identity. I, too, read it for something seasonally-appropriate and spicy, since I had it already available from one of my Stuff Your Kindle Day freebie hauls. I don’t think I’ll look into anything else from this series.
Title is misleading. Chose this as a St Patty's read and the only connection to the holiday is the MMC's nickname ("Lucky").
Too much was trying to be accomplished in only 100 pages - the fall out, reconnecting, an attempted murder on the FMC, exacting revenge, a proposal. I got whiplash from the fast pace. And none of it seemed logical.
Athena and Harlow have avoided each other for 15 years + Harlow is still angry at Athena but he's the personal assistant for both of her brothers? Athena's brothers have known for YEARS of the misunderstanding between her & Harlow but it's the motorcycle club brother that forces Athena & Harlow to talk. Why would the brothers allow the misunderstanding to continue when they know Athena loves Harlow & see how she's struggled to overcome her rape.
The suggestion that Jesse tried to run over Athena is wild. Why would he act now? How would he know that Athena told Harlow the truth? Wouldn't he have tried to blackmail her or something before jumping to attempted murder? And what was the significance of the hockey stick? It seemed so random.
The spice brought my rating up to 2 stars.

The story was definitely entertaining and I can see the potential.
If I could change/ constructively criticize the authors writing. A trigger warning for Self-Harm and Date Rape would be strongly appreciated. I almost dnf’d the book because it felt sudden and right up front. Then it became obvious that it is very much a part of the overall plot and not just for a tragic backstory. Aside from a few types and grammatical errors (normal things that are found in publisher published books) the one that was blatant and had to push through with. Nearly sentence had “I, Me, She, Him, He [insert name]” as the subject.
Just one example using an except from Chapter 12: “I melt into him, letting the sense of security I thought I had lost wash over me.” This would have been perfect sentence to change and have “the sense of security” be the subject. “A sense of security washes over me, one I thought I had lost. I allow myself to melt into it, into him.” Same, same but a little better writing.

This holiday novella will go down for one of my favorite St. Patrick's Day books. Athena and Harlow's relationship started out as childhood friends to making a pact, but that pact was broken on the day of Athena's 16th birthday, but even after the years past Athena and Harlow reconnected even though she was not knowing it was going to happen, all thanks to Harlow's biker buddies. The second chance relationship that they got to experience was amazing, the spice was there I do wish that there was a little bit more of it even thought there wasn't it was it was defiantly there, the plot was great, the twist though especially when it came to the hockey stick and nail gun (if you know you definitely know what I'm talking about). I do enjoy that her holiday novellas do intertwine with each other. Can't wait to see what she comes out with next. There is triggers in this book so please look at the trigger warnings before you read, your mental health does matter.
This book is spicy! A quick read that is really good. It starts when Athena is 16 and her and Harlow have saved all their firsts for each other. They both were saving themselves for each other. Harlow was called home by his parents at Athena and Harlow's joint birthday party so his friend dropped Athena home. Athena woke up the next morning and knew something horrible happened to her. She went to see Harlow and found him with another girl and upon seeing her yelled at her and called her names thinking the worse and not believing her. She ends up leaving and family moves away.
Fifteen years later, things happen and their paths cross again. Will Harlow learn the truth and will Athena forgive him? So much more happens in this. Harlow is an MC Prez and so much more and you need to read this to find out. Really loved the spicy scenes. Cannot believe how much was in this book. Great writing. Loved it.
This is a novella so it is a short book. It’s a second chance romance with a MC as the MMC. M.N. did an amazing job I truly enjoyed the story and read it so quickly. The plot was an absolutely amazing and had my interest the entire time and I can’t wait to read what comes next from the series. The MFC is sassy and strong. MMC is a sweet cinnamon roll strong alpha male.

This story follows Harlow and Athena. Athena and Harlow were best friends growing up till something happened that was misconstrued to Harlow and that ended their friendship. 15 years later they meet again and the truth comes out and Harlow wants to do everything he can to prove how much he loves Athena and make up for his actions and words. Athena is still in love with Harlow, and has already forgiven him. This book does end on HEA. I definitely recommend it if you want something short to read.

I have to say book three Falling for the Luck of the Irish by M.N Watson is just as a good read as book one and two. This series is beyond good it has it all, a good story line some awesome characters. You also get the interaction between characters from books one and two. I got a copy in exchange for an honest review and this is my review.
Harlow and Athena past kept them apart for a long while but Harlow always tried to keep her safe, he also worked for her brothers Jameson and Oliver. He didn’t believe her and that’s what kept them apart. But when they get together it’s explosive and spicy. The story is a short read a little over a hundred pages but has a great storyline and it will blow you away how good this romance read is and it even has some part about MC club. So definitely go check this series out.
This is a quick and beautifully written novella. It takes you on an emotional ride in the first chapter. Then you just need to hang on. M. N. Watson does an amazing job at tying the story all together and leave you wanting for nothing.
Athena becomes a strong and powerful woman with a love of all thinks kinky. She uses a horrible situation and turns it into a thriving business. She has only loved one man in her life and he caused her the most pain. Hopefully she can forgive him and they can be one.
Harlow is a sexy MC president with a chip on his shoulder of what he thinks Athena did to him. When the truth comes out he grovels as a man should and begs for forgiveness.
This novella is packed with spice and some gore. I can't wait to read all her other works.
After reading the first 2 novellas, I could clearly see the improvement in Watson’s writing.
Harlow and Athena went through a lot together and apart and I love that they were able to get back to one another after Athena went through something terrible.
I loved the communication between the MCs and the fact that they knew each other when they were kids, it was impossible for them to hide anything from the other.
I love that Athena got her revenge.
This is probably my favourite from this series. Looking forward to seeing what Watson will do next.
I really wasn't sure who I loved more, Harlow being a bada$$ biker Prez or Athena being authorative. Both characters were fearce and neither of them were scared to express themselves to one another. Their openess is what I loved most. When Harlow learned of a mistake that was made so long ago, all he wanted to do was fix it and show Athena his truth. I have to say this short read had a side of darkness that the other 2 couldn't touch I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE ATHENAS SCENE AT THE END. 🏒🦄 . This is 100% my favorite of the 3 in the series right now.
After a major misunderstanding that could have been avoided, fifteen years later Harlow and Athena meet again. He broke her heart, and she has some trauma to overcome. He doesn't know the real story of what happened before she went away all those years ago. Another wonderfully short read. Perfect for when you don't have much time, but want to finish a story. The plot moves along nicely, and has a few twists and turns that keep it interesting. The spice is good, and everything is nicely wrapped up by the end. Lovely addition to the series.
The beautifully twisted love story of Harlow and Athena. As kids they make a pact that at 16 they are going to be each others firsts for everything.......plot twist that doesnt happen.
When i tell you this book will have you in it from the Prologue to the end of the first chapter, phewyyyy buckle up!!!
Will Harlow find it in him to forgive his Little Goddess??? Will Athena divulge the truth???
This was definitely my favorite read from MN so far! I loved the connections to past books, and the relationship between Harlow and Athena is absolutely amazing! The plot twist, and the emotion within the words were phenomenal! And that one scene about the pig and a forehead DEFINITELY threw me for a loop. If you know you know. Overall loved this and am so happy that I got the opportunity to read it!
Short, cute and to the point! This book is a little over 100 pages but she had no problem giving me all the feels! Love love love this novella, Harlow and Athena are so freaking cute! This is a story of first loves, second chances, decade old secrets and betrayals and my favorite, revenge! And ofc an MMC with a filthy mouth. If you’re looking for something quick but that will also suck you in this is for you! Plot:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️.5
Buckle up buttercup! This one goes 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and doesn't stop until the end. I finished this in once sitting. Putting it down would have be a travesty!
Athena is a feirce FMC who has gone through it and come out the other end taking no sh*t. Harlow, oh Harlow. Our boy has a lesson to learn and does he ever.
I love these 2 together so much! They are a match made in chaos and I'm obsessed.
I love this book. It is so good and I would definitely recommend checking your trigger warnings. I love that the FMC is able to grow and the MMC was able to find the truth. I’m gonna put it that way so there’s no spoilers but this was an amazing book and if I could, I’d give this book 100 stars I would recommend it to anyone that likes a whole bunch of spice cause man, does this have a lot of space
No hate to the book I didn’t realize it was a short story more so than a full book(literally ready it in like an hour and a half if that). The smut was great and the plot was there it could have had a bit more detail. It jumped around quite a bit and some parts didn’t make sense for that reason or just didn’t flow/ transition well. If your just looking for some bedroom inspo or some self love help great read if your looking for more of a story I recommend something else.
I absolutely enjoyed this book and read it all in 1 sitting! I wish I would have read the other 2 books first but that’s okay. I was still able to understand what was going on. There’s not a lot of spice but the spice that is in here was amazing! And the plot was great to keep you intrigued! A great second chance and happy ending that we all love 💜
This was a nice quick read. Second chance romance that picks up 15 years and a horrific thing happens to Athena where she loses her innocence and the love of her life in the process. Harlow finds out what he thought happened with Athena could have been further from the truth. They end up reconnecting and Harlow helps Athena get her revenge on the man who ruined her life all those years ago.

Athena and Harlow make a great couple. Separated by Athena’s trauma when they were teenagers, they find their way back to each other when she moves back home and starts her interior design business. The truth comes out when they see each other for the first time. They find their way working through several events in the book. This is a dark romance and you should check the TW/CW before reading.
Overall this is a good book. I did get bored when they stayed in his house so long… I think the revenge on Jesse could have been a lot longer and more drawn out. His death was way too fast! He deserved a slow painful death. 🤷🏻♀️ Also… I found it very annoying the way the author kept bringing up songs and singers. It felt like a brand deal or advertisement.
