War buries memories. The rainy jungles of Vietnam wrap their vines around them, pulling them down into that dark place where things stay hidden.

For Rodgers, second in command, it was nothing more than another wet hike to the top of a hill.

Until they were ambushed. Until he forgot about Davis.

Excellent short ! In a mere 15 pages I felt like I met some great characters that quite honestly I'd like to read more about ! And in those 15 pages a fabulous story with an excellent impactful ending - one sentence that brought it back to the beginning. well done ! I enjoyed it ! A free e-book I read while waiting for a hair appointment. So glad I picked it up ! I would definitely be interested in reading more by this author.
