Loving this new chapter of the Cerberus MC.
This is quite an age gap romance. There’s lots of action and I really loved the fast pace along with the inclusion of some of our favourite characters.
Ace is much older and getting a bit jaded from his time spent with ICE. He takes forced vacation time but spends it helping Cerberus with a missing persons case.
Cora is the sister of the missing girl and can’t help herself but get involved in the search…Ace feels compelled to protect Cora and from that an attraction grows….one he always said he would never have, one that he has constantly avoided and one that he is going to have to eat crow for admitting….the feeling? Well love of course…the ultimate weakness in his eyes or could it possibly be the thing that finally gives him the strength to do what he wants!?!
Jericho next and I can’t wait!!

It’s impossible for me to adequately convey the extent of my love for the author’s characters. I know when I begin a story from Marie James, that I am in for a beautifully crafted story that will keep me entertained, and provide me new characters to love. And this story is no different.
The aspect I find most captivating about Ace’s story are the intricate layers rooted in the early history of Cerberus MC, NM. So knowing the older storylines are worth your time, as it made this read so much better for me, as I am up-to-date with the series.
Do you have to be? No. Should you be? Yes, because it makes this read better if you are.
Despite his departure to join ICE, Eddie Yarrow (Ace) has maintained his ties to Cerberus. He is the ICE representative, collaborating with the newly formed Tennessee chapter, and is now questioning if that’s truly where he wants to be. When Kincaid asks him to assist with a missing person’s investigation, he agrees.
Let’s be honest, nobody rejects Kincaid. Hahaha, No one!
Cora’s determination to find her missing sister leads her to cleverly utilize her late father’s political connections for assistance. Which brings Cerberus into her orbit. The mystery surrounding Sophie’s disappearance becomes entangled with the growing attraction between Cora and Ace, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The chemistry between them, along with his caring and protective nature, was also outstanding. Although there were elements to the story that made me cringe, I couldn’t stop reading these pages.
I mentioned it’s best to know all in the Cerberus NM world, right? Well, it’s also to your advantage to have consumed the Blackbridge Security series as well - because our favorite bird makes himself heard again! [IYKYK] :)
I loved this one, and look forward to the next new release from this wildly talented author. If you haven’t experienced her work, I urge you to change that, ASAP!

When you least expect it
This is book 2 in the Cerberus MC Tennessee spin off Cerberus MC series. These are a different set of men and women. They are darker and edgier than some of the others. Their hearts are no less golden.
We have met Ace through many of the books old and new. He has always been loyal and someone we knew held everyone’s trust. We didn’t know much about his story or where life took him and why. We get it all here and find like many times before Marie James makes these heroes a character we will never forget.
Cora has led a sheltered life despite the roll she had to take on at a young age. She knows there are dark things out there but now she has to face some of the worst of them head on. As they try to figure out who is behind these gruesome things will fate separate them before Ace can really accept what is happening. I really couldn’t put this book down. Not only was is full of twists and action it just kept you guessing. The laughs as always with these guys but the heart. I am really excited about this Chapter of the MC and I just can’t wait to continue learning more about these guys. Also at some point we have to catch Adair.

Ace left Cerberus years ago to carve out his own path to help those that couldn't help themselves. He thought that if he could stop the danger and darkness earlier, the Cerberus wouldn't need to always travel. However, tragedy struck his life anyways and left him bitter and existing rather than living his life.
Cora comes from a well known and affluent family. She's the oldest of four children and has taken on the roll of mother for years and head of the household for several years now. When her younger sister comes up missing she'll do whatever she can to find her and bring her home safely, even spend a lot of money to do it. In seeking out help, she finds Cerberus and Ace. She can't sit around waiting for Ace or Cerberus to contact her so she puts herself in the trenches to find her sister on her own.
I loved this story. It's dark, twisted and unpredictable, but it was so worth the wait for Ace's book. I've loved the characters of the Cerberus MC since Kincaid's book and the new chapter of Cerberus has not disappointed. This is the second book in the Gatlinburg, TN Chapter and I can't wait for more to come in this chapter as well as the next new chapter, Las Vegas. Great job!

A definite must read book and series
This was another intense, complex, suspenseful, and intriguing story that will keep you guessing until the very end. It's definitely not a story or series to be missed!
Oh how the mighty have fallen!! Lol! Ace has been a self-proclaimed batchelor and hater of love since his world was turned upside down after the death of his best friend years ago. He's dedicated his life to fighting all forms of sex trafficking in the US during his time working for ICE, which includes the latest collaboration between ICE and Cerberus MC Tennessee Chapter. When a situation happens at work and ends with him taking a forced vacation, he decides to take a job for Cerberus. With many unexpected twists and turns throughout the investigation, as well as some interesting uninvited assistance, it's certainly going to be an intriguing story.
Although the original Cerberus MC will always be a favorite of mine, I can already tell that this new series is going to be right up there too! Can't wait to start the next one!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

Once again we get some magical insight from the OG Kincaid. He always knows what his men need. Ace may have been off the Cerberus MC radar for 30 years but that doesn't mean Kincaid hasn't been up to date with what he was up to. He seems to care so much for his men.
Ace doesn't want to fall in love he feels that falling in love leads to your downfall and your death. He doesn't realize when he meets Cora his fate is already sealed. Cora is desperate to find her missing sister. The responsibility she feels for her sister's disappearance can truly be felt. She just wants to find her and get her to safety.
Neither Cora nor Ace was looking for love when it found them. Once again Marie James gives us a beautiful story of love, loss and finding your HEA.
This book is a standalone but as with the other books is truly enjoyed in the recommended reading order. I truly enjoy catching up with the characters we have met along the way.

Ace and Cora's story is one that holds you on the edge of your seat right from the start. This second book in the Tennessee Chapter is about change, forgiveness and understanding. This story is filled with suspense, secrets, revelations and plenty of drama and chaos. The chemistry between Ace and Cora radiates off the pages with such an intensity it is hard not to feel it deep under your skin. Two people who have known loss, understand the need to protect yourself from any further heartbreak. As Ace sets out under the Cerberus banner to find Cora's sister, it might also be about discovering some truths about his life and himself. A few twists and turns will have you second guessing the storyline unsure who has Cora in their sights but it is the connection between Ace and Cora that will have you holding your breath.

Ace is book 2 in the already amazing new series Cerberus MC Tennessee Chapter written by the talented author Marie James. I loved everything about this book, I laughed and I cried a lot! Ace & Cora, an age gap, action and twisted, grief, page-turner, wonderful characters, steamy romance. Eddie ‘Ace’ Yarrow, a former Cerberus MC members turned ICE agent and Cora Preston, a philanthropist comes from a well know affluent family. NO SPOILERS!! Loved the cameo of several Cerberus MC members from the original series and our favorite bird ( and owner ) from the Blackbridge Security series. I really couldn’t put this book down. A MUST READ for any fan of Cerberus and MJ books.

I am really enjoying this new chapter of the Cerberus MC and it's only the second book in the series.
We finally get to know a lot more about one of the OGs from the New Mexico chapter; Ace. (you can't go wrong with Kincade cameos, ever) He’s back, older, wiser? and sure that by this point in his life not only will he not find love, but he is also 100% sure he doesn't want it from anyone. Then along comes Cora, a woman devoted to her family and the sunshine to Ace’s grumpy.
From this latest Marie James age-gap HEA, you can expect murder, lies, action, stressful family dynamics and steam…how could you go wrong.

A great story - read on KU
This book and the first book in the Vegas chapter of the MC are both great books. The New Mexico books were getting shorter and less interesting. They just weren't the same caliber of writing as the early series or the Blackbridge (I may have that name wrong) series that starts with the book about Wren. Even the first book in this series was a disappointment.
This is well developed and has a good twist. Unfortunately, it still needs a good edit. There were a number of typos and a few grammatical errors, but I'll take that over stories with no substance. My only disappointment was some parts of Cora's life needed to be wrapped up better at the end.

Always a five star series!
I love Ace and Cora as a couple but they sure have a lot to go through before they reach their happily after. She hires Cerberus to help locate her missing sister and Ace is assigned to the case. They interact in a few scenes before they admit an attraction to one another. As they work together they find it is more than a physical attraction, they are falling for one another. The case they are working on has twists and turns and the out come is rather surprising. I am in love with this story as I always have been with each subsequent story. There is mystery, sex, and a satisfying end to this book. I recommend starting at the beginning of the original series but you don't have to.

I love Ace and Cora's story! They're not young and fresh, they're not out to conquer the world. They're older, seasoned and want nothing more than peace, happiness and contentment. It's refreshing to read about an "aged" couple every now and again. For me, being an "aged" person, they're easy to identify with. Of that doesn't mean they're boring, or soft or things come easily for them. They both come with a full past, both good and bad, and they definitely work to get to where they want to be. Their story has plenty of drama, excitement, emotion, twists and turns. Trust me, there's never a dull moment. The added extra is that we get visits from our old favorites too. Well done Ms. James!

Marie James is one of the authors that is a must to read as soon as her books come out!
I can’t get enough of the Cerberus MC and the Tennessee Chapter is just what I need!
ACE, I would consider him the silver fox of the group because he is quite a bit older but has so much experience under his belt with the Marines, ICE, and Cerberus.
ACE thinks love is not something he will ever find or ever want, well until 37 yr old Cora pops in and worms her way under his skin!
I love how much Marie James puts into her books and this Tennessee Chapter of Cerberus is just getting started!.

I didn't like Ace's stance on Hemlock and I still didn't like the man here. Expecting his team not to form any connections is BS and then throwing a manfit when they do just totally turned me off of him. Especially when he fell so easily in his own book.
I did like the suspense mystery bit. I figured it wasn't William because that was too easy, but kept flipping back and forth between it being the housekeeper and the other brother. The "memory issues" popping up suddenly kind of took me aback though because we see the housekeeper a lot and it's not really mentioned until the last few chapters.

Cerberus MC has been an amazing series. And just when you think there can't be anything more for Author Marie James to write about, they branch off. Ace is a heart pounding story with the question of who done it? And why? You've really got to hurt for Cora, who has the position, the power, and the name, but is utterly alone. I really like Ace and the years of experience that come with his age. Ace has become one of my more favorite stories within the Cerberus family. I'm so anxious to see where this series is going.

Bring in Cora attempting to find her sister, it doesn't change anything or does it?
He is so frustrated with her, why won't she listen to anything he says?
She is independent and why won't they tell her what the true story is?
Next thing we know Ace and Cora are working together until their not, and Ace realizes what he has been missing and is about to change that but it might be too late.

I always know that when I read a Marie James book that I'm going to love it, and Ace is no different.
Ace is part of the Cerberus MC Tennessee Chapter, a spin off of the Cerberus MC series, and he first made an appearance in that before his re-emergence in Tennessee working as an ICE agent.
He's sworn off love, but love has other plans, and those plans are called Cora Preston
In true Marie James style, this book is full of cameos from her past books, PD being my favourite, and it was a pleasure to read.
I will never get tired of this series and can't wait for the next book.

Ahh Ace, the silver fox who believes love makes you weak, has met his match with Cora. Cora is 37 and while there’s a 20 year age gap between the two, age is just a number. I enjoyed reading about these middle aged characters, it makes me feel less old.
The book has a lot of suspense and unexpected outcomes. I really feel bad for Cora, it seems she’s losing everyone around her that she cares about. But I’m happy Ace has rethought his anti love status and is there to help Cora through these tough times.

So now I realized who Ace is. I remember reading the old cerbeus books thinking what ever happened to the two guys that hung out with Snake why they never got a story. Now this books takes place decades later so now we know.
The book was intriguing...a game of clue. Who's the killer. I figured out who it was long before because knew had to be someone we least suspected.
My issue is the insta-love. I'm not sure what's going with books I've been reading lately that everyone loves someone within a week of knowing them...if that.

About Time!
I’m so glad that Ace finally found love. I know he isn’t over his friends death but I’m just so happy he gets to spend the rest of his life feeling like a piece is somewhat put back together.
Let’s also discuss how I never expected the twist at the end of who the real bad guy was. I honestly never would have thought that.
Yet again Marie James gave amazing detail and introspect into the minds of both the FMC and the MMC.
Another plus was that some of the guys from NM were still in this story which pleased me a great hit because Hound is definitely my favorite!

Ace’s story is one of experience. He has seen quite a lot in his life thus far, with the Marines, Cerberus MC and part of ICE. He is prepared for many things, however falling in love is not one of them. Some people get under your skin more than others and Cora Preston is one of them. A missing person case leads to so much more and brings together people that need each other more than they realise. Love CerberusMC and loving this new faction in Tennessee.

Holy crap what a story this turned out to be! We are getting some twists and turns that I didn't see coming. I absolutely ate this story up in one sitting, and now I'm sitting here wondering how am I going to move on to the next read, knowing that it will pale in comparison. Be prepared for some danger, violence, a nice naughty bit or two, Puff Daddy makes a tiny appearance, and some mystery and suspense that was pulled off flawlessly. I give this 5 stars.

Wow this book is amazing! I couldn’t put it down. So many twists and turns will leave you guessing until the very end. Ace and Cora are two kindred spirits who are destined to find each other. And boy are they good together! You will not regret reading this book. It will keep you engaged and enraptured on every page. Then you read the epilogue and now I want the next book also!

I enjoyed this story, the plot was strong, it was filled with many emotions and twists and turns, Cora and Ace were strong characters that were made for each other. Their path wasn't easy but the connection that drew them together was just too strong, they were good together, steamy chemistry, the two were well matched for one another. This was a good story, I'd suggest reading it, Marie James did a great job on the story.

Five Bazillion Stars!!
What a fantastic read. This book will grab your attention and not let go.
I loved Ace and Cora. I also loved that our hero was an older man and the heroine wasn't in her twenties. Don't get me wrong, there was an age difference, but, it was such that it really didn't matter as you got older.
Marie writes the best side characters and she always leaves you wanting more.
I can't wait!

A great book that was full of everything you would need! Heat, thrills but also laughter and a brilliant cast of characters.
This was such an enjoyable read. Unusual to have a more mature couple but that made it refreshing.
I love meeting previous characters and of course the outrageous bird from Blackbridge security! I have missed him!
Overall a great read and this is looking like it will be a great series!

Falling
This chapter of Cerberus is as wonderful as the New Mexica chapter! These tough as nails men can't escape love when the women meant for them walks into their path! Ace has had tunnel vision since he left the New Mexico chapter. He's so jaded every time he's made an appearance. I was pleasantly surprised when Cora came on the scene while Ace is supposed to be on vacation!
