A good reminder to be sceptical of high MER costs of mutual funds. Still, I'm curious how black swan events like certain reckless decisions by certain reckless presidents can surprise the algorithms built for these platforms. After all, those too are built by humans.

I'm still convinced that some percentage points are left on the table when you let human emotions get in the way, so I've been persuaded to at least look into it.

Don’t even know why I read this…… anybody looking to learn more about investing, solid read and short, but outside of that, not worth the read.
