"In this imperfect world, there is no living. It's surviving. And I can't help wonder when those of whom I love will die. I don't want to see that day." Alex is a teenage girl just trying to survive in the world. What's new, right? Zombies, actually. They're everywhere. Nearly everyone on Earth has been chewed into one. Alex, along with her three friends, must keep from joining their grisly horde. Can they stay alive together, or will they tear each other apart?
I'm a sixteen-year-old girl who lives in Western Pennsylvania. Friends and family are what I deem to be most important, and school comes in as a close second. I have to admit this--I am the biggest, nerdiest geek ever. Video games, reading, graphic novels (including comic books), anime--you name it, and I may just love it. And although I am a geek, I am proud. Because geekiness (yup, I just made a word)dwells in the hearts of everyone, even if they don't let it show.
Teen, young adult novel written by a teen. Amazing ! It is adventure, young love, zombie apocalypse deliscious! Very well written young lady! Cannot wait for the sequel.
I really liked this book and I can't wait to see where the story goes. Alex was a great character and so was Nate. My only problem with this book was that the action scenes were very short. They talked about killing zombies like it was something to be glossed over and I don't mean like the action scenes need to be ten pages long but just a little bit more than a sentence to a one and a half pages.
Anyway the book was really good. The characters, like I said, were very good and the writing was beautiful and painted a beautiful picture. I loved the journey that these characters have to go through and Nate and Alex's relationship was very sweet. Lynne's death at the end of the book did break my heart and I can't wait for the next book!
I bought this book from YALL Fest this past November from you and I have to say, I'm very impressed! The details that you had and the plot outline was absolutely amazing! Can't wait to read more from you, Mya!!
