My research on wormholes pays off in the worst way -- when I’m taken from Earth and thrown onto an unknown planet.
Aliens with velvety green skin, heat-filled eyes, and gold-studded tails save me from the dangerous jungle world I’ve literally fallen into. They call me Omega. They tell me I’m theirs. That my body will accommodate them, but that can’t be true. Their loincloths do nothing to hide how -- much -- they feel about me.
They’re not worried that I deny them because when I’m in heat, I won’t ask them to claim me. I’ll scream for them.
We find our omega bound helpless to a tree in our lands. She’s an offering we won’t deny despite how much she tells us no.
We’re patient males. She’s the only being who will soul-bond our pack. She isn’t any omega.
She’s our completion.
We must get her back to safety, but the jungle is unforgiving. When we’re separated by a freak accident and learn of the deception that has devastated our world, we will protect her with everything we can.
Even with our lives.
This is the third book in the Stolen Planets series. While each book contains a separate romance and HEA between a lucky human female and her alien mates, this series is best read in order.
What’s fiction romance omegaverse? Three alpha alien warriors who are prepared to do anything to claim their mate. Smoking hot steamy scenes. Out of this world biology. Nesting, knotting and other omega themes.

Possessed by the Barbarian Warlords (Book 3, Stolen Planets) - Charmaine Ross
I was given an ARC copy of this story to provide an honest review.
Charmaine Ross is an Australian author who writes a lot of contemporary, science fiction and paranormal romance stories. She really enjoys spinning imaginative tales of connection between two souls no matter what worlds they come from.
Hayley is in the middle of her work, she’s an astronomer whose fiancé stole her latest discovery and passed it off as his own. But little did he know it was half finished, so now she is studying the solar flares that have started appearing to help complete her work.
But just as the latest flare starts Hayley soon finds herself transported to somewhere else, somewhere that looks very much like a jungle, but the inhabitants are very much alien with green skin, claws and tails. Yet they are built huge, almost humanoid and definitely packing something with a considerable bulge.
The attraction between Hayley and the three green aliens who find her is instant and something that feels completely out of this world. What is even stranger is these aliens called her their Omega claiming they are her Alphas and bonded mates. There is definitely an undeniable pull towards them and an urge to have them closer to her.
However, this is the least of all their concerns, the Uglix or the lizards as Hayley calls them has been secretly plotting the demise and death of the entire race of Alien people that Hayley has just found. So, for her survival and that of her mates and their people, they must work together to stop the Uglix from succeeding in their evil plan.
“Possessed by the Barbarian Warlords’” was a short but enjoyable read, much like a cheeky guilty pleasure read. At first the book started out almost as a carbon copy of the first two in the series, the latter half of the book the differences in the story lines came out more and I really started to enjoy it. Now from the points of view the books are written I understand there will be some similarities in the storylines however I wish the author would vary them slightly like maybe have them be a bit more independent and fight a little more. Regardless, it is a good book that overall I did enjoy.
Spice 🌶 🌶 🌶 🌶 Plot ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Why choose Alien Romance Fated mates Strong FMC Obsessive MMC Short but spicy with good plot
Charmaine Ross is a new author for me, and I am loving her writing style as well as the story line in these books.
In Possessed by the barbarian warlords this is the third book in the barbarian series these books could be read as a standalone but recommend reading then in order.
You follow Hayley and her journey of being teleported to an aliens planet where she meets her fated mates, but of course things aren't always easy when your on an alien planet with three barbarian warlords as your mates. these books have a way of pulling you into the storyline and you cant help but fall in love with the characters. I can not wait for the next one the series and I look forward to reading more by Charmaine Ross as I love her writing style.
This is book three in the Stolen Planet series by Charmaine Ross, and like book two, this started out very similar to book one, again making it hard to read to start with. About halfway through though, it began to deviate towards its own unique storyline, which made it so much easier to read.
I did enjoy the imagery, finding that I could picture all that was going on as I read the book. I’m sure there is more to this series and will be interested to see how different those stories are.
3/5 ⭐
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
2023: I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving this review. Amazing. Love, love, loved it. It felt so different from the first two books being that the Ulgix were presented as Evil to the Omega very early on despite her not know who they were. The change in scenery to the jungle was refreshing as were the series of events that carried throughout the entire book. Absolutely cannot wait for #4 to come out. This series has been great overall and something I never would have otherwise looked at but and thankful I have. Favourite Alpha: Kalora.

This is book 3 of an ongoing series. I haven’t been able to stop reading since I picked up book 1. This book so far has been the most action packed. The premise is still the same female it’s taken Through the Wormhole to this planet where the population is slowly diminishing due to lack of omega females. Each book stands alone as its own story however, they are all interconnected, and you see previous in each a book and you gain more answers as about what’s happening on this planet as you go. This series is a must read.

"Possessed by the Barbarian Warlords" is Book 3 of Charmaine Ross's Stolen Planet series. I am thoroughly enjoying these dark alien Omega verse books and love how each book is unique while maintaining continuity. Ross does a great job of building planets and worlds and adding sociological depth with each book. I also enjoyed the complex and dynamic nature of the relationships and the continuous heat.
This 3rd installment is more heavy on the action and plot, it is non-stop! Like the relationships in the previous books, it relies more on the mated bond. However, at least here the alphas saw Hayley as a person by bothering to call her by name and not just omega.
When I reviewed the second book, I was not impressed, but since I had already bought book three I decided to read expecting more of the same. Boy was I surprised with the action and intrigue going on keeping me unable to put it down. Good job changing things up, Charmaine.
The first book wasn't the greatest but I'm glad I pushed through because these books just keep getting better. The story is intriguing and the love scenes are truly steamy.
This one was so different from the first two books! It made it so refreshing to read! I liked how this one was a little more plot heavy and had more action. I absolutely loved how all the alphas actually had common sense and respecter her so beautifully!!!
