I chose the WRONG man for a one-night stand.

I was just offered a promotion. Land an exclusive story with ex-pro football player, Graham Pearce. Since his accident, he has refused all interviews, but I love a challenge.

I do not sleep with clients, that is off limits for a professional journalist. But I don’t think this counts. We were strangers and oh the way he touched me.

This was a super cute Novella! Noel and Graham both have a lot to deal with, when they have a one-night stand after meeting in a club. But they connected on a level neither of them connected, and cannot get each other out of their heads.

Then Noel is given an assignment to write a story about an NFL player who can no longer play due to an injury, and, surprise surprise, it's Graham.

As they reconnect, and argue, over her desire to write his story, they end up falling for each other.

I really enjoyed this story, and am excited to read more storied from Colby Quinn.

4.5 star of short grumpy sunshine awesomeness

Graham & Noel's story may be short in length but it still makes for a fantastic read. To get a promotion at work she needs to interview the ex-pro footballer who has refused all interviews since his accident. One look at his bio & she is in shock. He's the guy who she spent a hot night with. Can she get the story from this grumpy single dad when he refuses every request she makes? Can she remain professional even with their hot night burned into her brain?.

Graham and Noel's heartfelt story had me in their corner cheering them along the road to a happily ever after. They have both experienced tragedies that had them questioning their life's outcomes. Do they have what it takes to take the next step in their lives for a chance to have happiness together.

This is grumpy single dad Graham, and journalist Noel’s story.
This is a good story which is a quick read, with emotions, challenges, grumpy / sunshine, opposites attract, enemies / lovers, tragedy, tension, and love, which leads to a heartfelt and enjoyable page turner.

Enjoyed Reading

This was a new author for me. I enjoyed reading this book. It started out on the sad side but quickly became a good read. Noel and Graham had their own different experiences but with a little help they became more. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a great read
