Francis is one of my favorite teachers. The first few chapters are almost poetic and paint beautiful word pictures. The tenet of the book is that the Beatitudes represent progressive rungs of discipleship. Interesting perspective. As always, there are powerful nuggets of wisdom woven throughout these pages.

Progress through the Sermon on the Mount with this book. It's very rich in Biblical detail and shows the heart of God for you. I'll be reading it over and over.
