Connected by Souls is her debut novel.
When she's not writing, you can find her boating with her family on the weekends, enjoying the beaches, homeschooling their youngest, and going on fun group dates with their friends. She lives in Florida with her husband, three children, and two golden retrievers, and yes, Mimi and Papaw live above the garage, just like in the book.
A note from Sophia:
One night, I dreamed about the characters from Connected by Souls. I woke up in the middle of the night, opened my laptop, and started writing. I have always been an avid reader but had no clue what I was doing. I was having so much fun writing that I told myself if I only did this for my eyes, it would be enough because it brought me so much joy.
Before I knew it, I had an entire novel sitting in front of me. A novel I cried and laughed with while sitting in the dark by myself, typing away in the still of the night. A story I knew needed to be shared with others.
I've opened up this whole creative world that I didn't know existed inside me, and I never want it to end. Writing has given me something I can own outside of being a mom. A sense of accomplishment and joy that I didn't know was missing.
I look forward to beginning my journey as an author, and I’m excited to connect with my readers on a deeper level. I've put my heart and soul into what I write, and my wish for you is to feel connected to my characters as much as I do.
A heartwarming and steamy romance read!!! This was a nice and well written story, it brought out emotions and held my interest. All characters were likeable and easy to connect with.
Where to start.. this book had my crying at the end. Laughing, jaw dropping, heartfelt moments, a ha moments.. romance, spice, love story, small town, soul connections.. I couldn’t get enough of this book. I am starting book 2 NOW! I highly recommend it!! New auto buy author for me, hands down!😭❤️⭐️🌶️
Actual rating 4.5/5 but had to round down due to GoodReads.
"I've been waiting for her my whole life, and now that I've found her, I'm not ever letting her go"
This is the first book in The Connected Series, and I absolutely loved it. This story is told from a dual pov:
Noah, this Florida town handy man, who is also author Beck Hunter (this is super fun because not very many people know he's Beck Hunter). Writes novels based on dreams he has, which he believes are memories from a past life. In his dreams, there's always the same women, he doesn't know her name but would recognize her green eyes anywhere. Any of the women in town would be thrilled to land Noah Bennett, only problem is none of them live up to the woman in his dreams.
Emma, new resident of this Florida town she used to visit growing up. She moves there from Tennessee after she grieved the loss of her parents, and she gets hurt by her (now) ex-boyfriend. Emma gets a job at the local library and begins to make friends in town. The house she bought requires some renovations, and she was recommended Noah Bennet the local handyman (who happens to be her neighbour) to help her with her repairs.
When these two meet there's an instant connection and they feel drawn to one another deep in their souls. I really don't want to giveaway anymore details, just please go read this book!! I fell in love with a Noah and Emma, and gosh did I ever feel so many emotions reading this story! Oh and if spice is your thing, there is ALL of the spice in this book. I cannot wait to read Connected by Stars & Connected by Love.
I absolutely loved this book. The concept was great about living multiple lives with a soulmate (twin flame). It was an emotional read but in a great way. I loved the connection between Emma and Noah the main characters and thought it was a really interesting concept. I couldn’t put it down and can’t wait for the next one
I downloaded this Ebook in preparation to ARC read Sophia's Christmas Novella "Connected by Christmas" All I can say is I am so glad that I have read this book. I was up with one of my children in the middle of the night and could not get back to sleep so I thought I would read a chapter or 2 and then go back to sleep... well how wrong was I! That was it until I had to be up the next morning! I was hooked! This is my kind of small town romance, it was sweet, spicy, Had laugh out loud moments, best friends which reminded me of my banter with my best friends, Family who are totally found family vibes.
Noah is a golden retriever MMC's which is a trope that I usually don't go mad for, but his character is so well written that it is IMPOSSIBLE not to absolutely love him. Noah is the local handy man who also writes spicy books under to pseudonym Beck Hunter, only his best friend and family know this about him. He has his pick of the girls in town but he is only interested in the girl with green eyes who visits him every night in his dreams, his twin flame. Noah has built his whole life around the lifetimes he has spent with Emma and has tattooed her all of their favourite things on his body, Swoon
New to town is Emma - a girl with a big personality and those green eyes that have been visiting Noah in his dreams. She is guarded after being hurt by her cheating weasel of an ex who cheats on her while she is grieving the sudden loss of both of her parents. literally wanted to jump into my kindle and boot off with Ty! I loved Emma is sweet, sexy, funny, strong, and just an absolute vibe. Emma buys a house which needs the help of a handy man. So Noah uses this opportunity for Emma to get to know him before he tells her that they are twin flames who have lived many lifetimes together. Beck Hunter writes about his dreams in her books.
I loved the pacing of this book. I love that in the last 25% of the book was see Noah and Emma's relationship go from strength to strength which I love because most of the time the story ends once the MC's get together and you are always left wanting to know what happens next. But Sophia has given has set up book 2 and given us out "What happens next" fix. love that.
Tropes 🌸 Small-town romance 🌸 Sweet & Spicy 🌸 Your next book boyfriend 🌸 No cheating 🌸 Happy ever after 🌸 She's mine vibes 🌸 Dual POV 🌸 All the feels 🌸 He falls first
If you like Small town contemporary romance then you will LOVE this book.
I am going to read the Connected by Christmas next and then circle back to Connected by stars book 2 in the connected series. I am so glad I have found Sophias books they are definitely a bit of me!
I think one of my favorite things about reading is learning something new. In Sophia Belle’s novel “Connected by Souls”, I was introduced to the concept of ‘twin flames’. Belle defined a twin flame as a split soul that spends each life time looking for their other half to become whole again.
The novel focuses on Emma feeling an unexplainable draw towards a favorite location that she and her deceased parents use to vacation at. Not knowing exactly what was drawing her there she drops everything to move to this small town in hopes of a fresh beginning. Meanwhile Noah, has been experiencing vivid dreams of a green eyed girl who he can’t seem to get out of his mind. With emotions running high, he puts paper to pen to express and document their adventures together. Finding solace that his heart has been captivated by the green eyed beauty he has decided to continue on with his life and be content that no other girl will have his heart. Little does he know his heart will be forever altered when he meets his new neighbor.
If you’re looking for a romance with no love triangle and contains some spice, this is your book. While I adore a good love triangle, it was refreshing to find a novel that focused on more than the competition of love. I was captivated by the deep love that the MCs shared through their many life times. It made me want more small novellas about each lifetime they have spent together! Overall, Belle exquisitely created a world that opened doors for many possible story lines. I am looking forward to discovering which characters she decides to dive further into and how she evolves each character arc!
2.5. This book definitely had a different concept with the whole “twin flames” plot. (Possible spoilers ahead)
So H and h are twin flames who have loved each other during many, many lifetimes. For some reason, H remembers them all. h doesn’t.
h lost her parents a year prior, and she just broke up with her boyfriend due to him cheating on her. She packs up her life and moves to a small costal town where she used to vacation with her parents. Naturally, H lives there.
H is a handyman but he’s also a secret, best selling author. His books are all about his past lives with h. It also happens to be h’s favorite author. 🙃
h needs works done on her home so SURPRISE! H is her handyman. Look, that man has been waiting on her for a long time so it was InstaLove for him. h feels a strong connection to him. They try to take it slow except that didn’t work either. They start shagging at 50% in and it’s FULL ON smex smex smex after that. Sometimes 3 or 4 times per chapter. Don’t get me wrong, I love some spice, but it was just too much. Every single scene was a copy/paste.
We have some random 3rd act breakup around 60% and it really didn’t make sense. She found out he was the author. 😩 It was such a goofy reason for breaking up. Thankfully, it didn’t last long
Mostly the rest of the book is the MCs going about their lives together. I think at 91% is when the bad accident happens and H ends up in the coma. She ends up having a day with her dead parents- who eventually send her back to live her long life with H.
So Mav’s book is next. 🙄 He’s like the biggest man*hore in the town. It should be interesting to see why he’s ignored “the love of his life” to sleep with everything that walks.
The biggest criticism I have for this book/author is the mundane things. For an example (this is NOT in the book. It’s just an example of what I’m talking about) “Mary goes to the coffee pot. She grabs a cup. She pours the coffee, then puts a dash of creamer in the coffee. She takes a big drink and it relaxes her so much” I literally don’t GAF about stuff like that. I realize mileage may vary for everyone, I just hate all the filler
Also, you really don’t need that much smex. If you’re going to have a lot, at least mix it up some. 🤷♀️
This book gave me ALL the romantic feels! Plus, the plot twist at the end shattered me. I was shedding tears, crocodile tears. Sophia did such a great job writing this from a dual POV. Emma & Noah’s love story is the sweetest, purest romance I’ve read in quite awhile. Sophia deserves a round of applause for this debut novel, because I will be recommending it the rest of the year! I can not wait to read Connected by Stars!
No matter the lifetime or the distance between them, Noah & Emma were destined to find each other time & time again. After Emma’s life was turned upside down, she felt an undeniable pull to pack up & move her entire life to Florida. She had sworn off love. But striking blue eyes, that felt like home, made her reconsider her decision. Those blue eyes had dreamt of a green eyed beauty since he was a boy. Even though Noah had entertained other women, none compared to the woman in his dreams. As time passed, Noah couldn’t distinguish whether they were dreams, or memories from another life of a love that could stand the test of time.
Emma is a character I deeply related to due to the loss in her life. I admire her strength, resilience, & bravery. Plus, even after enduring grave heartache, she continued to be such a kind & beautiful soul. It was fun to read along as her character evolved becoming more confident & trusting as her relationship with Noah developed.
Noah..where do I begin? Gentleman. Handyman. Writer. Hot! Helps the elderly. Loyal. Compassionate. Patient. Respectful. Oh, did I mention he’s Ready. To. Go. in & out of the bedroom at any moment? Hello new book boyfriend.
“I don’t think I can wait until later. I want you now”, she whispers in my ear. “Here?”, I ask.
🌊HEA 🌊Small Town Romance 🌊Sweet & Spicy 🌊She’s Mine 🌊Dual POV 🌊He Falls First
*This is a debut novel & Book 1 of the Connected Series. It can be read as a standalone .
I'm going to try not to sound really mean here and avoid spoilers, but it may elude to some. Read at own risk.
I see where this book COULD be good. I can also see where some may like it. Unfortunately, I just can't.
Let's start with good. The premise is cute. It is super romantic and original to me. Emma is a good character, and I can feel her emotions about things through the writing.
That's pretty much where it ends, unfortunately.
Here's what I didn't like: 1. The dialogue. Who actually talks like that? I was cringing the entire 333 pages. I lost weight through my constant eye rolls. (I wish anyway.) 2. Noah. Ugh, Noah. What a terrible character. He's falls somewhere between trying to be nice and sweet to trying to be a dom. Which just makes him fall in this creepy stalker void of a person that I'd never want to spend more than five minutes with, without police present. 3. The 3rd act breakup. Unnecessary and beyond annoying. I don't love this trope as it is, but it was so unbelievably dumb I almost DNFed at 60%. Just, no. 4. The twist/heartbreaking moment. I see what again tried to be done here. Didn't work. I don't know if I had lost all connections (pun intended) to this book by then, but it was just too little too late.
The only reason this is not a one-star is because I can see others liking the mind numbing dumb as an escape. It most definitely is not for me.
i really enjoyed this!!! it definitely got me out of my slump:)
my thoughts:
- the idea & concept behind this book is so one of a kind!! i have never read anything like it!!! - i loved how in depth sophia belle went into the families and the characters back stories. - we all need a man like noah - YES I LOVE THAT THERE IS A DOG INVOLVED! THE ABSOLUTE WAY TO MY HEARTTTT 😩😩 - i will say that the names are a bit generic and i felt as though some parts of the book could be a little bland/repetitive but i can’t say enough good things overall :) - a little role play in there??? 😏😏
my review:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ out of 5 really have nothing bad to say about it so 4.5! i was thoroughly impressed!!!! 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌱 out of 5 3.8 because it was hot but vanilla here and there; but you could cut that tension with a knifeeee 📖📖📖📖 out of 5 it caters to a specific audience but i am recommending it to all of you!!! give it a try i think you’ll like it :)
you’ll love it if you like: - found family - small town romance - fated mates/twin flames - spice - he falls first

I knew from the moment I read the blurb of this that I would love it and. . . 𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓!
Noah & Emma's story melted me into a beautiful puddle of love and happiness. Every moment of this stunning romance grabbed a hold of my heart and refused to let go.
It is my first taste of the authors work, and after reading this, I am diving straight into book two. I highly, 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐘 recommend it.
𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐈 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐃?: Absolutely. This was completely wonderful.
WOW! I found this book on IG by pure happenstance, and I am exceedingly happy that I did. I am going to go ahead and throw this out there that as of today...this is my favorite read of 2024. Sophia Belle will also go down as one of my Top 10 authors. Run read this book...I promise you WILL NOT REGRET IT!
Connected by Souls is such a beautiful story of fated lovers. The chemistry between Noah and Emma is unlike any that I have read. The banter and text message threads between them are so funny. The spice you ask....Perfect and Spicy!! I also especially loved watching Emma grow, overcome her past tragedies, and be the person she was meant to be. Also, Noah and his friendship with Mav is hilarious.
I immediately went and purchased the physical copies so that these can live on my bookshelf, and I can reread! This is one of those books that I wish I could erase my memory and reread and relive for the first time over and over again!
Now I am going to go so I can start book two right away!
Sophia Belle's debut novel and a great one at that! 4.5/5 stars
Introducing us to Emma and Noah and a long history of love and life to shift through!
I loved the way the story connected all the way through and everything that was happening started to make sense and become clearer for the characters and their readers!
Emma having having pulled herself from the darkness, decided to pick herself up and follow her heart to a small town in Florida. a town her heart was pulling her towards.
I cannot wait to see the continuation of Emma and Noah's happiness throughout the rest of the series when moving on to see how Mav and Bella's complicated feelings uncomplicate and I most definitely cannot wait to see what Sophia's HEA is going to be like in Connected by Love, who is Travis and where has he come from?! releasing 22/04/2024
If you believe in soulmates, and you believe in signs the universe sends you, then this book is for you!
Have a look at my favourite quotes from Connected by Souls on my instagram @mykindlespiritxo
Noah & Emma *swoooooons From the first page of the book I knew I was going to love it. The story that is painted of Noah and Emma being twin flames and finding their way back to each other leaves no emotion out. Emma is finally starting to find herself after losing both of her parents in a wreck with an 18 wheeler & a nasty breakup. Deciding to move to Florida where her family would vacation over the summers, she runs into local handyman & secret author, Noah. From the start their connection is so intense and ground shattering. The book goes on to them falling in love (of course 😉) fast forward to chapter 30, when I tell you I cried, I have videos to prove it. They are going out and end up getting hit by a vehicle putting her in a coma where she sees her parents 🥺🥺 She ends up waking up and they plan a night to themselves at their favorite spot (the light house) and he proposes 🥺🤍 I’m so overly in love with how raw and real the emotions were, this book is 10/10

Liked ✅ - Reincarnation & other lives - Well written - Noah’s character traits - Emma’s relatability
Thoughts 💭 Right out of the gate this book reminded me of one of my favourite series as a teen. The reincarnation and twin flame aspects brought back so many thoughts and feelings from my teens. This book is a lot more adult, there is quite a bit of spice.
Noah is a swoon worthy character, he embodies the characteristics of a true gentleman. Emma is such a kind, and loving soul. I found it easy to relate to her and some of her flaws. I became quite attached to these two towards the end of the novel. I'm really looking forward to seeing glimpses of their lives in the next books.
For a debut novel, I found the book really well written. The story flowed beautifully. The side characters were easy to love and become attached too, which is awesome since each book is about a different couple but they are all interconnected! I'm really looking forward to the next couple's story
10/10 ROMANCE BOOK. I have heard nothing but great things about this book, so I had wanted to give it a read for myself to see what all of the hype was about and I can truly understand why now. As someone who is into darker reads, it was nice to read something so natural and so heartwarming. From the growth through traumatic events, to falling in love and finding yourself, to realizing that everyone has another person out there for them in one lifetime or another, this story was beautiful. I loved the deeper connections that were built and the new found family that the FMC gained. The last few chapters wrecked me in a way that I saw coming, but it still hit me at full force because it was not exactly what i was expecting to have happened. When i tell you the tears FELL!! This was a nice read for me and I cant wait to read the next one to see where the future takes the characters of this book!
For a debut novel, this was AMAZING!!! I've never read this author before, and I was blown away by her flawless writing, her character development, and how I was consumed by the story.
Emma and Noah are "twin flames." Destined to be together throughout many lifetimes. Each lifetime, they always find their way back to each other, especially in this current lifetime.
Full of emotions. I was touched by their beautiful romance and story. Noah and Emma automatically have this connection from the beginning. I enjoyed watching Emma find herself and seeing her feelings grow for Noah. Their chemistry was so good, and their intimate scenes were so hot!
Noah's family are amazing, and I love them dearly. His best friend Maverick is so funny, and I'm so excited he's getting his own book next!
If I could, I would give this book more than 5 stars!
First off… the spice be SPICING up in this book! I was all 🥵🫣🤤. So that gets its own 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 5 spice rating for all my smut readers out there!
Secondly… oooof Noah is GOALS! This man is godlike looking, a sweetheart, and is OBSESSED with his woman? Sign me up right now! No joke I swooned for Noah at like 15% in. Full on 👏👏👏! This man is top of the book boyfriend list right now.
Thirdly… Emma, my girl. You went through something traumatic and turned it into an adventure of finding your happiness again. Bravo! And also… kudos to landing a hot neighbor 😉.
In the end, this book was such a good read! I could barely put it down. Any hopeless romantics out there? You need this on your TBR stat! It has all the feels in the best way possible. Along with funny banter and great side characters. I look forward to book two ❤️.
This book is sweet romance, in the purest form. The love story of Noah and Emma is the childhood fairytale finally coming true. The dream where we hope to find our one true love, our soulmate, our “twin flame” and this novel is all of that and so much more. This is a novel of love through reincarnation and finding each other again in this life. It is overcoming death, tragedy, broken trust, misunderstandings, and to always have faith, that what is meant to be will be and ultimately following your heart.
Emma suffered a horrific tragedy that left her in a horrific mindset, but a relocation to a family vacation favorite exposed her to her insta-love Noah. This is a novel of instant connection, he falls first, small town love with big town feels. I’m very excited for the next novel in the series.
I absolutely loved this book. I started and finished it in one day! This was one epic love story and I loved every minute of it. Watching Noah and Emma relationship grow was just so beautiful. The way Sophia Belle described Noah looking at Emma is how you want a man in total love to look at you. The spice was definitely spicing and I ate it up. I loved the whole idea behind this book definitely made for an amazing storyline. There were parts that broke my heart and if I was a crier it probably would have gotten me but to watch them bounce back from all that was one of the best things. This book was just so amazing I want to tell everyone about it!!! I can’t wait to get started on the next book to see what will happen for the amazing side charters in these stories. Absolutely gorgeous story and couldn’t have asked for a better ending.
the MCs felt more sexually connected with the amount of sex they were having plus even their dreams are about sex. their emotional and mental connection seems to come solely from their words, like they said it but i don't feel it.
additionally, the heroine's reaction when she found out the hero is the book author she loves, felt way over the top. i don't know, i don't think it warrant such a huge reaction. i mean it's not like the hero was hiding a wife and kids behind her back. i actually thought it will be a funny joke to tell because my favorite author is beside me yet i didn't realise it.
overall, the book felt way too dragged out for me. i was losing interest at about 60-70% already to be honest.
Connected by Souls by first book in The Connected series by author Sophia Belle, is a literal soulmate, who hurt you, he fall's first, found family romance. The level of detail teases the readers senses, as if you can see the beach at your feet, smell the ocean in the air and hear Nala barking in the distance. Belle take's fiction to another level with this romance, making readers truly believe beyond all odds that finding you other half, a true soulmate, is possible. Connected by Souls has a great balance of detail, character growth, plot that leaves readers intrigued, and spice that goes from slow burn to intense flames (4🌶️😏). It's a must add to your 2024 TBR and great news, book 2 Connected by Stars is now released so you can instantly jump right to the next story of Mav and Bella!
Oh my beating heart! For this being a debut book, it literally took my breath away! TWIN SOULS!!! Can you say SWOON! I fell so deeply in love with Emma and Noah! I will never get enough of them. Also truly loved the rest of the character’s. I laughed and cried, but don’t you with the most amazing stories/books? It was so beautifully written I felt I was with these character’s every step of the way. At some points I can say it gave me goosebumps in the most best possible way. Then the steam, let’s just say wow, wow, wow, hot, hot, hot! I had to fan myself quite a bit lol. Can’t wait to see what Sophia has in store for us next!
This is a small town romance between two fated lovers. Tragedy strikes Emma at a young age prompting her to make an abrupt life change and move to a small town in a new state where she happens to find herself again. Noah is your all American small town boy who loves to help out and give back to the community he's spent his entire life in. He's the one you call when you are in need. However, he's in search of someone of his own to call when he is the one in need.
It's cute with a bit of spice! The perfect palate cleanser after reading the more taxing novels that us booktok girlies love so much!
This book had my heart at the start. The story is absolutely beautiful, all about your special someone, that you just can’t be without. The plot is wonderful, and you can’t put it down while reading. I am one of the ones that absolutely bawled my eyes out, it got my heart that strongly.
Noah skips Book Boyfriend and goes straight to Book Husband status. Emma is an all around sweetheart, I adore them both! Connected by Souls has everything. Plot, backstory, easter eggs, and a loving community.
Don’t let the cover trick you, there is some really good spice in here. The book gets 5 ⭐️, the spice gets 5⭐️, definitely a book that I could read again, just simply because I really loved it.
Connected by Souls by Sophia Belle is a good, and enjoyable spicy steamy small town boy next door soulmate romance read. The story has a good world building story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. This story is an entertaining spicy steamy feel good romance read with a happily ever after ending. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The books follows Noah and Emma and their unique love story. There is mentions of twin flames which is a soul split in two and the two pieces always find their way back to each other in some way. In this case it is the romantic kind and yes there is spice. This book had me wanting to miss work just to continue reading until I finished the book. You may need tissues if you are an easy crier. It is available on KU and paperback. It is a part of a series but can be read by itself if some of the characters doesn’t catch your attention. It took me 3 days to read. It was so enjoyable to read.
Oh my!! I am at a loss for words with this book!! 🥰 I could not put it down, read it in 2 days!! The love story, the spice, the heartwarming feeling. All the feels in this book!!
Noah and Emma have my heart, but another character that I am so glad to be coming into the forefront next is Maverick!! Maverick is Noah's best friend who just always has something witty to say at the right time.
I can not wait to see Noah and Emma grow old together and see where life takes them. I would love to have some back stories of them and other lives they have lived.
This book was good and i really liked the characters, it lacked conflict for most of it and I felt that I was just reading about a couples day to day life in a small down so I felt it was boring at times. The spice is good, once it starts it seems almost non stop, so if you’re into that then this is for you! The ending of the book caught me off guard because it was so out of left field, I almost wished the accident happened more towards the end of the middle of the book so I could read more about the aftermath, the ending just seemed rushed.

One thing I would like to say about this book is how heavily the last few chapters give a sneak peek into the next book and I checked if it was the case with the next book too and yeah. Most of the last part of the book is kind of introducing what is to come in the second book and setting the stage for that, that I am not really you know that interesting because for me in that moment I want to read more about the characters the current book is about. Otherwise, the book is kind of good. I would have loved to have felt a bit more connected to the characters but it was okay overall!
