This was short and cute, and I really enjoyed it. I do wish we could have seen EQ suffer more but this wasn’t about him. S/O to Pariris for being the realest one, he really did want the best for Tinsley and he knew that he was the best. I wanted more time with these two, looking forward to reading more.

This book was good. I will say, I liked Sweet like Sundays the most. While I was happy Tinsley was doing her and figuring her stuff out I felt like Parris was a rebound a little. Obviously, she was in a relationship but I wish their love happened more organically than a “I’m not with my ex, now I can vibe with you.” Still some super cute moments and it was enjoyable so I’m not mad. 3.5/5 ⭐️

the title is perfect!
I loved this! This is a beautiful novella about rediscovery of happiness & love and it felt complete and not rushed. Made me want to go hop on a horse in the country knowing dang on well I’m a city girl!

Parris was so sweet and considerate. He was exactly what Tinsley needed after everything she had been through.

We all need a man like Parris!! This story was soooooo cute and adorable… I don’t know about being with a man for 15 years with no commitment but hey it’s the music industry so I’m not surprised. Not gonna lie, Eriq, EQ… fumbled the bag like terribly lol. I love how Danielle connected Tinsley with Sade from Book 1 and how I heard about Tinsley from Friendsgiving with the Belafontes. I love those little Easter eggs. I love the healing journey of Tinsley but I also like how she got her groove back. It has the perfect amount of spice… perfect! Beautiful bodyguard and singer love story!

Omg, this novella is so damn good man. This my first time reading a novella by this author Danielle Brooks and won't be my last. I love Tinsley and Parris good vibes throughout this short story and Tinsley finding her happiness and confidence again after that scandal with her ex boyfriend. I love Parris so much, protecting her at all cost both professionally and personally. Damn, I wish this story was a little longer now but I really enjoy it from beginning to end. Five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s something about unspoken love that finally comes to the surface!!! This book this book this book!!!! The way the love adoration and trust dripped of the pages made me thirsty for even more after I read the epilogue!!! The bodyguard to lover trope never disappoints!!!
I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but I think it’s safe to say we have another BookBoyfriend to add to the list!!!

Fire!!!
This was a page turner. I didn't want it to end. Parris and Tinsley were a perfect fit. I'm glad she got rid of her loser ex. Parris was on his game. He was not playing when it came to protecting and his feelings for Tinsley. The mom was hilarious. Her and Ms Darla were ready to kick butt. This series will leave you wanting to read more books by this author. She's an excellent writer. I loved both books in the series.

This book was more than a romance novel- it was a journey through the eyes of our FMC to find herself. I love that the love story between the MMC and FMC went along with the FMC finding the path to loving herself again. It was a wonderful read that had minimal drama.

This was so cute!
The bodyguard/singer storyline really did it for me. Tinsley and Parris were adorable together. I love how he always had her best interest at heart and protected her…even from herself at times. He is definitely top tier in the book bae department.
If you love a story of self-discovery after heartbreak, this will be a good read for you!

This was a cute little vibe
Very cute story. This series of books was ultimately easy-going quick reads. I loved that this story was about finding oneself again and healing from past relationships. Choosing to love again was probably the greatest gift.

Choose Yourself!
I’m happy that in the end Tinsley choose what was best for her. Who names themselves EQ anyway?? This also goes to show that the right person can be right in front of you all the time. Eriq will live in his karma! Loved this book.
