The final book in the Bones of Betrayal Series! Dark, steamy, and a perfect ending.
My life hasn’t been an easy road. It feels like every time I dust my knees and stand, I’m somehow knocked down again. Death surrounds me, even when I race towards life. The struggle of what I’ve been through weighs on my shoulders. Though, through it all, there has always been one constant. Hades Gray. He is my tether, holding me steady as I’m ready to slip over the edge. He’s the sanity when I feel as if I’m losing my grip. He isn’t an easy man. Our romance story isn’t one for the faint hearted. But he loves. He loves harder than any man I’ve ever known. He’s stood here through it all, with his heart open. For me, and only me. Our love has withstood war, death, and destruction. But the best things never come easy, and as the past comes back to haunt us, I feel our love crippling. And I wonder if we will truly survive, or if our love is destined for death, just like everyone else around me. And become just another burial of bones.

I can't describe my disappointment with this book. He was great until 90%, when we discovered the plot twist. I waited so long for this couple's conclusion, I waited so long to see Hades and Viv together again, and they really didn't disappoint us, but the plot twist that the author inserted really disappointed me. It makes no sense, seriously, it makes no sense for her to cast one of Hades' best friends as the villain in this book! It was my favorite group, why? 😭🥹
The story she justified for this doesn't fit in my head and doesn't make sense, seriously. Like, I understood that she wanted to bring a story about the reappearance of the Carnival killer's lookalike, (same plot as the Blackridge Prep series, strange, right?), but turning Hades' best friend into a villain??? In my head it doesn't make sense. Anyway, it had everything to be 5 stars, I'm very disappointed!
TW: domestic absue (discussed from previous books, violence, death
Tropes: it’s always been you
Description: Vivianna in last book left bad situation and this book she is with Hades and she is all in but when murders similar to book 1 happen again he goes alpha hole and does what he can to Keep Vivianna and her daughter Adrianna.
My thoughts: I liked this book it was a great ending to a series I had been waiting for the ending to
OM-OW/ Cheating: no cheating
HEA/HFN: HEA
Hero: possessive obsessive alpha hole with a whole daddy kink.
Heroine: at times frustrating but she has been through so much and she deserves what Hades has to give her.
This is book 3 and just like the first two it’s a crazy journey!
This picks up where book 2 left off.
Hades and Viv are finally back together and are trying to figure out a way to deal with her ex.
Hades obviously wants to make him feel nothing but pain and doesn’t want Viv involved but she wants to be the one to do it after everything that he put her through.
She puts on a brave face but when her brother tells her she needs to feel all her pain and grief and emotions so she can finally move on she breaks….
Their connection and chemistry is insane. It’s as strong as it always has been but Hades is angry with her for giving her heart away to someone else.
When Hades reaches out to her ex things get crazy!
Things only get more crazy when hades gets a phone call from someone in the carnival and people are still being 💀
Hades will do everything to protect Viv and her daughter….
I was shocked when the truth came out of who it was😳👀
After everything these two have been through I’m so happy they got their HEA but I’m sad it’s over.
YOU SHOULD NEVER BE ASHAMED OF WHO YOU ARE, BUTTERFLY. QUIT HIDING YOUR IMPERFECTIONS AS IF THEY ARE IMPERFECTIONS AT ALL. THEY MAKE YOU, YOU. I'M IN LOVE WITH EACH SCAR, EACH BUMP, EVERY BRUISE. THEY ARE A PART OF YOU, VIVIANNA. LET ME LOVE YOUR IMPERFECTIONS JUST AS MUCH AS I LOVE YOU.
I was so sad to see this series end. The journey that Viviana and Hades went through I felt in my bones , in my soul. I raged when she met someone new and started falling for him, I begged for her to leave, then raged again for what she had to go through with him, and all the while that amazing man, Hades , had never left her side . Theirs is a dark , dark , beautiful love that I would probably give body parts to be able to even experience half of it. Accolades to you Ms. Breck, this series was amazing……. Now can we please have a follow up series about their children??!!!!
This thrilling conclusion to the Bones of Betrayal series shadows Vivianna's epic odyssey. After surviving a tough ordeal in the last book, she's now by Hades' side, heart and soul. When a string of eerie murders echoes events from the past, Hades turns into a protective shield for Vivianna and her daughter, Adrianna. Their connection sizzles with passion. The shocking truth behind the murders brings a thrilling end to the series, tying up loose ends in a truly satisfying way.

Book two was heavy and very emotional so I definitely prepared myself with this book but also excited cause At the end of book two so left with Hades and the guys. She was finally with who she was suppose to be with… her and Arianna. Of course things don’t stay peaceful for long. They still have to deal with the Preston situation and not come to find out someone is killing off people who worked at the carnival. Poor Viv is never safe. I’ll will say that I was SHOCKED to find out who the killer was?!? Wtf!!! So good and the best way to end this series.
I have been anticipating this read for a while, and the wrap up for this trilogy was perfect. I had a hard time getting into the beginning initially. There's a lot of healing from past trauma and character growth at first, but when the suspense and spice kicks back in it really picks up speed. The plot twist at the end had me completely blind sided! I absolutely adore A.R. Breck, and I honestly wish more readers would dive into her work!
What to expect; Brother's best friend Mental health representation Single parent? Secret society / circus vibes
I don't even know where to start. The Burial of Bones was amazing and one hell of a wild roller-coaster. I can not get enough of Hades. He is perfection, and the spice was spicing. I loved the unexpected twists that you really didn't and see coming. I loved the ending, but I'm definitely sad it's over since I just can't get enough. This will be a series to reread again!
I had a hard time remembering the second book to this series. It took me a bit to get into this book.
By the end of this book I was anxious for Vivian. She has spent a great deal of time as prisoner, fighting for her freedom. Hades is always watching and trying to protect her. Now it is his time to take BA what is his.
A great finish to this series. Vivianna is so very obviously Hades first priority, and Adriannna is his daughter regardless of blood. This dark romance made my heart swoon. I wish there was a book of their life after, as vivianna still has so much to get over and we all want to see how hades succeeds as a devoted father.
