Along with the help of a Evan Reed, a peculiar man himself, the team begins to uncover the secret beginnings of Aldenville and uncover it's hidden demons, some that span over five centuries.

About the author

From ghosts and ghouls to werewolves and vampires, there's nothing strange about growing up in New England. Mythology and legends tend to run wild in most parts of the Northeast, and when you're raised with it, you tend to draw on it for inspiration. Ghost stories have always been part of childhood, but what happens when those stories follow you around? You write about them of course. Dawn takes life in the mountains, and twists it into her own. Most recently doing so with "The Pack," a dive into the hidden world of a people not unlike us, who hold a secret... their relation to the legendary werewolves of old. This book series came along from a ten-episode season written for TV, and has taken on a life of it's own.

Peighton, frozen in fear is rescued by the mysterious Evan Reed before she could become dessert. As quickly as Evan appeared he disappeared. Leaving Peighton frightened and confused as to what she just witnessed. After sharing her horrific tale with local FBI agent Keri, he calls in Special Agent, Scott Embry. Scott is a member of the S.P.I.R.I.T. team. An unusual, unorthodox group that investigates paranormal activities. Peighton and Scott have a past connection and the sexual tension between this is palpable. Between solving Dell's murder, discovering an ancient creature known as the Ekimmu and trying to save a town bent on keeping this monster a secret and containing it, will they have time for love?

Hidden Demons is Indiana Jones meets the Winchesters of Supernatural. It has a little something for everyone. Murder, mystery, supernatural centuries old creatures and even a little romance. This is the first book I have read by Dawn Gray. I am looking forward to reading additional selections in this series.

Hidden Demons, 3rd book in the series, another good story.
The characters and the story are amazing.
What I love in each book is that they have this quality
that will make you find yourself get lost in each story.
Anyway, the characters Scott, Peighton and Evan are also good.
I love that each of the characters has this personality
that made me like them as the story goes.
As they uncover the mysterious things, everything just
keeps getting better..

amazing story, couldn't put it down

What a great series Dawn Gray has created. Each is very unique, but with the common thread of members of the S.P.I.R.I.T. Team. It is not your typical paranormal story, and had some romance and steaminess mixed in. I look forward to more stories from this author.

I immediately was hooked on this book! I have only read one other Dawn Gray book and I will definitely be looking into more!
