While this book is explicitly written for a particular time (a few years ago), the general vision applies for Methodists--and Christians--throughout time. It is a little simplistic, along with its companion piece, but essentially Methodism is supposed to be simple as well.
I'll say that I particularly like the title and the general focus: Christian perfection, the idea that through grace we can love as Jesus loved, is possible. It's a central tenet of Methodism--one of the few tenets we have--and should be the core of who we are moving forward.
