Well, not for certain. I’ve been crushing on Anthony Gruco for months, but the idealized version of him I’d conjured in my mind doesn’t even resemble the Italian mafia capo I meet the night I break into his restaurant.
I’m only there to retrieve the phone I left in my locker, but I hear voices in the next room and am stupid enough to listen. By the time I realize it’s a mob meeting, it’s too late. They catch me, and despite all my newfound knowledge, I still beg Anthony for help.
Now I’m in the trunk of his car, wondering one thing…
What do you do when the man of your dreams might be the villain of your nightmares?
A note about Gruco Crime Famiy:
This is an 18+ standalone mafia romance series with varying tropes and heroes with diverse personalities, intentions, and tolerances for violence. Because of this, each book can be very different, and it’s perfectly okay to hop around! Here’s a brief breakdown of the series.
His Promise - Gritty and spicy but not very dark with an alphahole hero and a fake relationship.
His Pet - DARK. Lorenzo is out for revenge, and he’s going to get it.
His Prize - Gritty and spicy but not very dark with an alphahole hero and a forbidden love.
His Puppet - Mid-level dark with a captive heroine.
His Property - DARK. Hero is a sadist who loves pain play.
His Passerotta - Low-level dark with a captive heroine and a hero who is soft with her.
His Passerotta is the sixth book in the Gruco Crime Family series, a standalone mafia romance written by the talented author, Nicole Cypher. This series is one of my favorites because of its intriguing and clever storylines and relatable characters.
The story is set in Las Vegas and revolves around Anthony Gruco, a 30-year-old capo and an intimidating member of the Gruco crime family. As well as, Bailey Fisher, a 22-year-old waitress with a troubled past who works at one of the Gruco family-owned restaurants.
One day, Bailey forgets her cell phone in her locker after work and breaks into the restaurant to retrieve it. While there, she witnesses a criminal meeting and is caught. Anthony knows he can't release her after overhearing crucial information, so he kidnaps her.
Anthony and Bailey's journey is fraught with tension. Anthony is caught up in a seedy world of ruthless motivations that he doesn't have the heart for, while Bailey's life is a mess, and her younger brother complicates things further by falling in with the wrong crowd. Their relationship is strained by family discord. This conflict pulled at my heartstrings.
However, the chemistry between Anthony and Bailey wasn't as strong as I hoped. Although Bailey first encounters Anthony when working as a bartender at a local bar he frequents, he doesn't remember her. Anthony initially kidnaps Bailey but releases her within 24 hours, telling her to keep out of sight. Unfortunately, Bailey keeps running into the men at the criminal meeting she witnessed, and they take her back to Anthony. This happens repeatedly, and I am uncertain if Anthony or Bailey would have acted on their attraction if she had not been forced upon him so often. As a result, I didn't feel the swoony, intense "need" for each other - that indisputable spark - I crave in a romance novel.
Nonetheless, His Passerotta is a decent and worthwhile read for fans of the Gruco Crime Family series.

‘ One more milestone. Hundreds to go. ‘ …. SOBBING. I adored this. The fact that although it was a mafia book, it was a sweet one? I don’t even have the right word to describe it. From the very start this book had me giggling like a school girl whilst crying my eyes out. The ending though? Oh no. I was on edge and didn’t know what was going to happen.
I loved how it focused not only on the MC’s but on the storyline too! It didn’t feel rushed. I do wish it was a little bit longer though.. so happy with the ending so we can’t really ask for more!! It honestly makes me wish I had read the previous books, I can guarantee if this one is anything to go by the others are good too!
Part of the Gruco Crime Family each can be read as a standalone but why when each one will have you hanging on to the edge of your seat each one a wild ride so make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Bailey is a sweetheart who hasn’t had the best life, but she does what is needed to take care of her younger brother, speaks her mind without hesitation, sassiness for days and tries to obtain her own dreams at the same time not allowing anyone to stop her. Anthony sexy as all get out peacemaker of the Gruco family, dangerous, ruthless on a good day, deadly when needed, but he isn’t as hard as his other brothers, yet just as committed family is everything to him and strives to not be seen as weak when compared to his brothers. These two meets when she needs his assistance although truth be told she has always liked him but that is where it stops until he steps in to help her. The magnetic pull between these two is crazy and despite trying not to acknowledge the stronger the pull between them. They bring out the best in each other she sees him as one of the strongest men she knows, she shows him just how strong he really is, and he sees her as a cuddly kitten that has been left in need of a little loving and he is just the man to accept the job but will he be there to keep her safe when there is a potential war brewing, surprise attacks things she isn’t use to but surprises him but is it enough to keep them together, does he explain that once she joins will she want to walk away, and can they find some type of balance between them but knowing these two probably not but happiness just might be on the menu?
Bailey is down her luck but had a lot of spunk. She might have some run ins with the law, but she has a big heart and tries her best to look after her younger brother. She also might seem awkward at times but isn’t afraid to speak her mind or going after what she wants.
Anthony is kind, level-headed, and the peacemaker of the Gruco family. He balances his brothers out and will do anything for the family. He can be resourceful and dependable but also fears he is seen as weak.
These two! Bailey and Anthony are a couple you root for right from the start. As we learn early on, Bailey has had a crush on Anthony but never pursued anything, but now circumstances force her to admit her feelings. She seems relatable and down to earth, and at times like someone who needs protection (or in Anthony’s eyes, a cute kitten left in a box at the side of the road that he can’t help but want to take care of) but definitely surprises Anthony in different ways. Anthony somewhat becomes a knight in shining armor for Bailey when she finds herself in tough spots but she also shows how she looks out for him and makes him see that he is not a weak person but one who is stronger than others with his mindset. These two definitely are a good pairing and leaves you with warm butterflies.
We also get some humor from Lorenzo and Settimo, seeing how others react to them and their interactions with Anthony and Bailey. I think it could be helpful to read their stories to understand their characters more and how those moments hit even more, and because their stories are also just as interesting.
Additionally, there is some suspense and thrill here as we are trying to figure out who is launching surprise attacks and launching and potential war between the mobs. The puzzle pieces we get are planted well and Lee the pages turning ad we try to figure out the motivation for it all.
Overall, this was a good read and a nice wrap up to the Gruco Crime Family series. We do meet some new characters like Anya and Maksim Petrov, and it seems Maksim will be getting his story next!.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book was Awesome. This is the six book and final book in the " Gruco Crimemily." I will definitely, going to miss, this family and these books. Please start with book one, because it will make more sense and get to know these characters. Also, you don't want, to miss a book, in this Awesome series. But, it can be read as a stand along book. I couldn't put it down. 💓 Anthony and Bailey.
This books has Italian mafia, capo, violence, low level dark, captive heroine, hero who is soft (with her), sweet, I was giggling, crying my eyes out, entertaining, wonderful characters, keep you on the edge and on your toes, unpredictable, danger, protected caring, will not be easy (for them) , steamy, twist and turns, suspense, attitude, plot twists, chaos, action, will not want to put it down, romance, peacemaker, and so on. 💓💓 the ending. I Definitely, Recommend this book and Series. If, you love Mafia books, this is the series, for you. I'm so glad, I found out at the end , MS Cypher is writing a spinoff series, with the Petrov Bratva , with Maksim, being the first one. 💓💓 this book and series and is on my Must Reread list.
Nicole saved the best for last! Anthony and Bailey were the perfect couple for the last book in the series. Bailey had a crush on Anthony for a while and once she was finally noticed by him, he was equally enthralled by Bailey. The way he cares for her and keeps her safe while navigating through family obligations and loyalty is so satisfying. The way Bailey is trying to keep her secrets and her brother safe as well as herself and learning to trust in anyone, due to her past was frustrating at times, but completely made sense. They learn to trust and what it means to love each other while being true to themselves and their family and that it doesn’t have to be an all or nothing for either. It is a lighter story than some of the other books in the series, but still touches on some dark aspects and it’s always nice to have former characters making appearances and getting a different side of them. As well as perfectly setting up characters for a new series. As sad as I am about this series ending, I am very excited for the spinoff series to come!
The h is a waitress & it's her 1st day. She has low blood sugar if she doesn't eat. "Before last month, I was a bartender for six years, and I loved it more than most people would understand. There's a beauty to it that goes beyond pouring tequila into shot glasses for bachelorette parties. It's mixing flavors, creating your own concoctions that deliver just the right blend of tangy paradise. It’s … art. And this artist needs a new studio." "I’ve been working four side gigs while I look for something permanent. Walking dogs. Selling sunglasses from a kiosk at a mall. Data collecting for a company I'm almost certain is bogus. And … doing makeup for special occasions. Like weddings."
The H: "I’m a 30 year old capo from the Gruco Crime Family."
They meet but she already knew who he was and had a crush on him. Unfortunately you can't choose your family and her brother ends up being in a gang that's trying to start a war between the two head mafia clans so they can take over.
Overall, there was nothing special about this story. Wouldn't re-read or recommend to a friend.
Great ending to the series. Bailey worked at la divina restaurant and a few other jobs to make ends meet. She had a tough life growing up. Her mother died when she was younger and she had to take care of her brother. She ended up getting busted for stealing a car and went to jail for a few years. Her brother was put into foster care. When she got out she tried to find him. Bailey met Anthony while working one of her jobs and she had a huge crush on him. She was going to one of her jobs when her car broke down at a gas station and Anthony happened to be there. She asked him for a jump so she could get to the wedding to do the makeup for the bride. He ended up dropping her off at the church. Everything changed for her after that. I highly recommend the series. It was amazing. I love Nicole’s writing.
I don’t want this series to end! I loved each and every book in the series, but Anthony and Bailey are my favourites! I loved how she had a crush on his, even before he knew who she was. I love how he felt a connection to her even before he knew what it was. There is action, there is amazing chemistry, the heat is on full blast and the storyline is on point. This book is perfection! If you are looking for a mafia read, grab this one. If you want to enjoy it even more, start this series from book 1 - they are all standalones but you meet many of the main players along the way and get to see glimpses of them in books that they aren’t the primary characters. I can’t wait to see what’s next up for Nicole because this book will be a hard one to beat!!
This is the final book in the series and brings Anthony and Bailey's story. The author takes you into their lives with humor, suspense and intrigue as well as the romance. It's well written, moves fluidly with her descriptive scenes and is a terrific mafia read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and are freely given.
Oh these Gruco boys have been hot, hot. Tough, brutal, wonderful, and Anthony adds another dimension to these boys. This one was perfect. The icing on the beautiful cake of the Gruco crime family.
Good book. Anthony is the baby of the family and has a heart, meets Bailey when she breaks into his restaurant and hears the mafia talk. Little bit slow for me, more like a slow burn but the story is good and I loved the ending. I hate to see this series end but all will not be losted, has another spinoff coming
I enjoyed this sixth book in the Gruco Crime Family series. Anthony and Bailey were perfect for one another. In a world where kindness is considered weakness, they managed to balance one another out. Both believed in family over love. In each other they were able to find both. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
His Passerotta is book six and the final installment in the Gruco Crime Family series. A full-length standalone novel with no cheating or cliffhanger and complete with a happily-ever-after. They all a meeting along with Anthony and Nikita Petrov leader of the Russian Bratva to work on a deal about purchasing airstrip rights which would make them all a lot of money. However, Nikita didn't show up for the meeting because the night before his grocery store was set on fire after he had just received his goods of guns and he thought that the Gruco was the one who did it. Anthony tells Lorenzo that they should bond together with Russians to figure out who set the fire. Bailey had to do her other job of coding and needed her phone because the information was on it and her phone was at work. So she decided to go back and pick the lock. But after she retrieved the phone she heard some voices and decided to go and check it out. She immediately recognized one of the voice which belonged to Anthony and they sound like they were talking about mafia stuff. But she got caught by Finn from the Irish mob who wanted to take her home with him and rape her then kill her because he thought that she was a spy. Anthony, Finn, Hugh and Maskim were all at the La Divina trying to come up a strategy on to find out who did the bombing when Hugh came in with Bailey at gunpoint. Finn liked what he saw and was ready to take Bailey back to his camp to have fun then kill her. However, Anthony rescued her with a promise to the guys that he would kill her since she was his employee. He didn't want to tell his family about her because they would definitely want to torture then kill her and they would think that he was soft and weak for not killing her. He took her back to his apartment until he figure out what to do. But after he finish torturing a man Settimo asked him what Don Cormac was talking about fixing the problem. The Gruco's were looking for The Lost Boys because they were the ones that did the bombing according to the man that Anthony tortured. When Lorenzo started questioning him he was very caging so he decided to go back to his apartment and he saw Bailey there cooking. Anthony did not trust Lorenzo not to kill Bailey so he let her go and told her to go back to her apartment. But Lorenzo bug the place so that he could watch her to see if she was going to go to the authorities. Bailey was scared and didn't leave her brother's apartment. I am sad this is the end of the Gruco Crime Family Series, but it ended with such a good one. The previous few books in the series have been some darker reads, but this one was a lot lighter. It still has some dark themes but not as bad as the other ones.
Anthony was amazing! I honestly can't say anymore great words about him. The way he is with Bailey is very romantic. He is protective from the get go. When he finds her "spying" in his restaurant he knows he has to act strong and tough, so he takes her prisoner and is expected to unalive her. However, he can't do that. He seems to develop feelings almost instantly. At every turn he protects Bailey any way he can. Either by telling a false story or hiding what she is doing.
Bailey has had a crush on Anthony for quite a while. Being in close quarters with him is a dream come true. She might not like how she got to this point, but the end result is achieved. She needed to be more honest with Anthony when she found out what her brother was doing, but I get her reasoning. You will protect family, even if they do something you don't agree with.
Both of these characters emphasize the importance of family and always putting them first. When their families become enemies, they each have to decide what is more important to them. Family or the love of their life.
We do get to revisit some characters from previous books and get to see some humour and a new perspective from them. Seeing characters in different lights is always interesting to me. We also get to meet some new characters which will be in the spin off series the Las Vegas Petrov Bratva Series. I can't wait to read this and continue the journey Nicole Cypher has started.
This is book six in The Gruco Crime Family series and it is Anthony and Bailey’s story. Bailey works for Anthony in his restaurant and has had a crush on him for a while but one night when she left her phone in her locker and because she needed it she decided to go and get it only when she got there she heard voices talking so she went to check only to realthat she had made a big mistake and had put herself in serious danger as it was a mob meeting that was taking place and she was too late to back out without being caught and ends up being taken captive by the person that she thought she knew but Bailey was so wrong because Anthony he is a Capo in The Italian Mafia and she could now lose her life because of her curiosity. Anthony is a Capo for The Italian Mafia and was surprised when they catch Bailey in the restaurant which has now put her in danger and he is the one that will have to deal with the situation but Anthony ends up caring about Bailey which is not something that he would normally do but unfortunately he has a caring and protective attitude and that could some day be his downfall but not today. Anthony and Bailey are so perfect together and for each other and even though things between them will not be easy or plain sailing but they really compliment each other in a very positive and special way. There are twists and turns along with great characters, plot twists, danger, suspense, chaos, drama, action and situations that will have you turning the pages and unable to put this book down. I am so sad to see the end of this series but I am looking to seeing what this author writes .
This is the sixth and final book in the Gruco Crime Family series. I will admit up front, I adore this series. It's my absolute favorite mafia romance series ever. And I was torn as I read Anthony's story. I've been wanting him to find true love ever since I first met him in His Pet but also dreading it since I knew it would be the last book in the series and I really don't want it to end. I've loved every single book and feel like I'm a part of the familia! I can't imagine letting them go.
The series has been a mixture of dark and not so dark, with each of the Gruco men very different. No surprise, though, that youngest brother Anthony, the intelligent, compassionate peacemaker in the family, has the least dark story in the bunch. I'm not getting into what happens, I'm just going to say that sweet Anthony finds a woman who doesn't believe in love and becomes her knight in shining armor. I was so happy to see him finally find his one true love!
Since His Passerotta is the final book in the series there are quite a few spoilers for prior books so I strongly recommend you read them first. Plus, this way you also can fall in love with this wonderful familia, just like I did. I'm really, really going to miss them... Fortunately Nicole is writing a spin-off series about the Petrov Bratva starting with Maksim this fall and she has promised we will see the Gruco's around which makes me very happy!
A magnificently written story with characters that fly off the pages. The story is a wonderful page turner that has suspense, intrigue, thrills, action and a spicy romance that gets a happily ever after ending that it deserves. A story’s backdrop is the city of Las Vegas where several different mafia factions are and even a small street gang comes to light amongst this story. The story is about family love as well as the love that two strangers can find when they least expect it. A bartender and an Italian mafia family’s capo come together as things start to heat up in the city without knowing it the two are thrown together through circumstances that neither know about at the time setting of a chain of events that will lead both of them to question the love of a family compared to the love of a person you want to be with forever. Throughout the twist and turns the two find the love they have for one another but family love tries to take it from them. By the end the love of family won’t break the love they have for each other. The Italian mafia capo gives the bartender a wedding ring offering her marriage and the bartender informs him about her being pregnant. This story was outstanding. The story showed how great both loves are, the love for family and a person, even if you can’t see it at first it’s still there.

Wrong place, wrong time – and suddenly, her whole world is upside down! The night Bailey sneaks back into the restaurant where she works to retrieve her forgotten phone, she’s thrust into a life-or-death situation that she never saw coming. But just when things seem darkest, Anthony, her secret crush, steps up in a way that will change everything. I dove into this story right after reading "His Puppet," and I have to say, Anthony is far from your typical mafia boss. Yes, he can be ruthless when the situation demands it, but what makes him stand out is his belief that he’s somehow less than his brothers – not as tough, not as committed to this way of life. But Bailey? She’s the perfect match to challenge that self-doubt and make him see the truth. Their chemistry is electric, and the way they complement each other is a joy to watch. Both Anthony and Bailey are deeply rooted in their families, and when Bailey uncovers her brother’s dangerous secrets, she’s caught in a whirlwind of loyalty and doubt, forced to choose between her family and the love of her life. As I’ve grown to expect, the steamy scenes are scorching, the action will keep you on the edge of your seat, and the happy end is everything you could wish for. This is a rollercoaster of a romance you won’t want to miss! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "HIS PASSEROTTA" I thoroughly enjoyed this on the edge of your seat Mafia Romance so full of intrigue, suspense, chaos, secrets, danger, violence, steam, humor, war brewing, twists that keeps you turning the pages. Anthony Gruco is an Italian Mafia Capo gorgeous sexy, the peacemaker of the family, dangerous, ruthless, deadly when its called for, but he's not as hard as his brothers, but completely committed to the family, holding a meeting at La Divina Restaurant after closing he catches Bailey who works there listening to their conversation, he takes hostage. Bailey has had a tough life after mother died, she's caught stealing a car, going to jail, her brother ends up in foster care, she looks for him when she gets out, after being caught by Anthony she's asks for his help he feels protective of her, both have strong commitments to family, attracted to one another. I definitely recommend to get this intersecting, captivating, journey Anthony & Bailey take you with a war brewing between Mafia Families, will she find her brother, will they both get their HEA, so much happens these two are meant to be together to see if that's happens this is a must read you don't want to miss. AWESOME INTRIGUING, HEARTFELT MAFIA ROMANCE I LOVED IT 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤
I would say this is NEARLY a four star read. But I didn’t roundup. Spice - 🌶️ Romance - 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
I enjoyed the writing style and loved that there was always something going on. Each chapter made it easy to continue reading and pushing forward. For such a short book, the author sure packed a punch with the action and budding romance. She build a slow burn romance between the two MCs and that was sweet. There was tons of character growth for everyone involved and I really loved how everything was wrapped up in the end.
Where it fell short for me and why I didn’t round up— I found the FMC to be irritating at times. I get that that’s subjective and it didn’t ruin the book for me but her constant gripes about her brother and how she had to choose between him and her true love got old for me. I do feel like it was focused on so much in order to boost the character development but idk I just didn’t enjoy the constant “oh but he’s my brother.” Girl he is a piece of shit. Be for real.
I did seriously enjoy the world the author created and will probably read her other books! If you need a violent action packed read with a small romance simmering in the background, this is for you.
I'm realizing that I enjoy Nicole Cypher's darker works more than her lighter ones. I don't know how to explain it, but I feel like her writing shines more in the darker works - I connect better to the characters, the story feels richer, deeper. All this to say, His Passerotta is a cute story, and it's still well written, but it suffers in comparison to books 4 and 5.
I liked Anthony's conflict about being perceived as too weak, and I like how we got to see the softer sides of both Settimo and Lorenzo. It somehow feels unique to have it directed to their little brother as opposed to their love interests.
I was a bit more conflicted on Bailey. I get the conflict - familial love versus romantic love and all, but damn I was so annoyed by her at some points and i was like listen girl, you are supporting the WRONG PERSON.
But again, everything about this book was more 'like' than 'love'. I guess you could call it a nice palate cleanser after books 4 and 5? just that I didn't want my palate cleansed damn it. I wanted more fuckery!!!
Anthony closes out the Gruco family HEAs. He is the sweeter, calmer, rational one of the family. Which of course means he needed a woman with a little attitude and danger to her. Bailey fits him perfectly. She comes from a rough life and understanding of his world, even if she doesn’t like it. Then you throw in her life and dedication to her family, her brother Corey, who is not so far removed from the world Anthony lives in every day.
At times, I loved Bailey and Anthony; when they were able to be in their own world they were amazing, but Bailey made me crazy with her cagey side. I understand they why but it made me crazy all the same. Thankfully Anthony was able to look beyond the cagey-ness and recognize the love between them.
I loved this family, and i am very excited to know we now get to move on to the Bratva, and Maksim!!!!

Ms. Cypher saved the best for last. Anthony Gruco is the baby of the family. He is the more analytical brother. Sure, he makes some mistakes. He also sees things in a way that most people don't. Bailey Fisher has been crushing on Anthony for a while. She is struggling to make ends meet with three jobs and a car on its last leg. Bailey knows that her brother, Corey, has gotten in with a bad crowd. She just doesn't know how bad until she overhears conversation between him and his friends. Can Bailey save Anthony from the mess that is coming his way?
Bailey is stuck between the love her life and her brother. They only have each other. She cannot let him ruin his life for friends that will ditch him when trouble is headed their way. This book has so much going on. Readers who have felt like Bailey will really resonate with this book. Ms. Cypher does a great job of making this crime family more than just a crime family. She made them a family. A family that loves hard and long.
This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. This is Anthony and Bailey's story.
Anthony is an interesting character. He's part of the mob in a higher level position with his brothers and he is dangerous but has a softer side then his brothers. Bailey is down on her luck and just trying to survive in the criminal underworld of Vegas and help her brother get out of trouble. Her character was very relatable and endearing. Anthony and Bailey meet by chance and circumstances bring them closer together. A modern day Romeo and Juliet story.
Protective MMC, mafia romance, secrets that threaten everything, drama, betrayal, steam and a HEA!

This mafia series has all the elements I look for in a romance – compelling characters, intriguing plots and drama for miles. Anthony and Bailey’s turn at the love roulette was a hand and I was all in… Bailey was stuck in a place where she had no control, and Anthony had all of it. Or definitely more that she did. Yeah, it was that kind of story where nothing was certain except for the chemistry between the main characters. Of course, having the whole Family around is always a bonus.
While the plot may not have been a personal favourite – too much uncertainty just makes my stomach ache apparently – it was a solid read in a series I can’t get enough of.

Nicole Cypher is quickly becoming one of my favourite writers!
His Passerotta is the 6th book in the Gruco Crime Family series, but can be read as a standalone. It's the lovestory of Anthony Gruco and Bailey Fisher, who works for Anthony in one of the family's legit businesses, his restaurant.
She is the poor girl, looking after her little brother in the best way she can. She has a crush on Anthony but h never noticed her. Until she returns to his restaurant after hours and breaks into the restaurant to pick up her phone. She then overhears a conversation between different Mafiamembers and that's how their story starts.
There's darkness and there's lightness and little by little we get to read all the pieces to solve the puzzle. It was a delight to read!
His Passerotta is the final book in the Gruco Crime Family series so be sure to read all of them, you won't be sorry. This one is Anthony, the Capo for the Gruco Crime Family and Baileys story. Anthony's story is a bit different from the others. It had to be different because Anthony isn't like the other Gruco men. Anthony and Bailey are a completely unlikely couple but they're absolute perfection together. I can't say enough how much I love this series! These guys and their women are utterly consuming, the chemistry between them explosive and their storylines are engulfing. Definitely a must read!

Wow, I really loved reading about Anthony Gruco and Bailey, Anthony is a Capo for the Italian Mafia. Bailey works at the restaurant that held a Mafia meeting by Anthony, she heard talking so she went to investigate so as she got closer she heard Anthony's voice then she was caught. Bailey didn’t like it when she has been crushing on him until he shoved her in his boot and told the men he would deal with it. Bailey thought her life was over. The chemistry was burning hot, electric, pleasures and love.
