This book was written by the daughter of a friend. I bought it to support her first book. This book was well written and suspenseful. I enjoyed the story line and found it to be believable. I thought the characters were well developed. My only negative was in some chapters there was a lot of gratuitous drinking which I didn’t think added anything to the story. I will be looking forward to reading her next book!

Wow! Loved this book!

Small town love story with characters that you fall in love with from the first chapter. Writing style grips you from the start, makes Apples and Assassins hard to put down. Glad to know there will be more books by Amalia! Waiting for the next book! Would recommend this book 100%. Sweet love story that will put a huge smile on your face!

Loved it!!

This small town romance stole my heart the second the MMC was described as smelling like "bergamot and leather". Like, are you kidding me? Perfection. While not a spicy romance, 'Apples and Assassins' is filled with action - think 'Reacher' (season 1) meets 'Sweet Home Alabama', with a splash of 'Suits'. I loved it! This is the author's debut novel and book 1 of 3 in the Southgate series. If you're looking for an instant-love, small town romance, with a possessive MMC and lots of action, this one's for you!
