Knots and Nests #2

Knot the Right Omega

Rate this book
Bella

Good for a heat, but not good enough for a pack. I’d been courted by more packs than anyone I knew, yet not a single one ever picked me. I was close to giving up when my luck changed - I won a coveted lottery ticket to the most exclusive omega ball in the nation, the Darlington Ball! Soon I would be rubbing elbows with the world’s most eligible packs. It all seemed so simple - until I ended up kidnapped, just for being in the wrong omega’s room! By the time they figured out I wasn't the right omega, I’d already smelled them and knew they were perfect for me.

And for being one of the scary criminal packs I’d been warned about, they sure seem sweet. They’re treating me better than any pack I’d ever been with - and now I’m not sure I can let them go. Unfortunately I have a heat coming soon, and I want them in a very bad way. The question is, will I be able to survive another rejection from the one pack I finally feel safe around?

Pack Genovese

We were known as the most efficient and ruthless packs when it came to clandestine assignments. So how did this mission get so messy? It should have been simple - abduct a high profile omega for a few days and collect the payment. Easy, right? Unfortunately, not only did we take the wrong girl, but she’s driving our entire pack crazy with her amazing perfume and her sunny disposition. Even the most hardened member of our pack can’t resist her adorable smile. She’s making us all want to be better - but can we change enough to be worthy of this prize omega?

4.2 stars.
This was sweet and fun, but there were a lot of chapters with pages where I just skimmed because it was just too much information about stuff I didn’t care about, and didn’t really affect the story at all.
🤷🏻‍♀️ I liked it, though.

Ahh, where to start? I'm just copying and pasting my notes here because that's all this deserves.

So many errors in the book. Different people talking in the same paragraph instead of switching to new paragraphs with a new speaker, missing quotation marks so that you have to decipher where the spoken sentence begins or ends, etc. It's a mess.

Everything is internal monologue. Half of every conversation is finished by stating how they replied in internal monologue instead of just, you know, letting the people speak. It's aggravating. We're being told what happens, NOT shown, and this is one of the worst examples I've come across in a while.

These alphas are criminals, but supposedly good ones who only take jobs against those "who deserve it", and they're all about rescuing omegas,,,,,,, yet they took a job to kidnap an omega so her business adversaries could steal her company or something. That's.......not the kind of criminals you claimed you were. I love morally grey MCs, so I would have had no problem with this if they weren't trying to pretend they were criminals with hearts of gold lmao.

This FMC is naive asf. I can't with her. Even after all of the things she's been through with other packs, especially the first pack that specifically preyed on her naivety, she just thinks the best of everyone she deals with. After being denied by pack after pack, she still doesn't ever see the end coming with these packs, or even think that it might happen again. Like she's not worried at all. And when she wakes up and her kidnapper is the one comforting her, she's immediately giggly with him because he's comforting. Girl please. I get that the author was trying to portray her as a sunshiney character with a positive outlook, but she just came off as incredibly naive and not ready for the world.

I won't even get into the fact of how annoying her internal thoughts were. I have to say it, but sometimes it really is you, not them, girl.

Never mind insta-love, this girl had insta-stockholm syndrome. Girl was down bad as soon as she opened her eyes from the drug they gave her wearing off. She was so enamored and grateful for every small thing they did for her, and she immediately felt safe with them and trusted that feeling without ever once questioning their intentions. Oh, and she also missed the blaring, huge signs that they were going to leave her for the dumb third act breakup, because even at the end she was trusting to a fault. And no, the "grovel" they did to make up for the fact that they participated in a long line of alphas letting her down, and didn't let her make her own choice when it mattered most (or at least warn her), did not make up for it at all.

And here's where I talk about the token polyamory that was included in this book. I love books with mlm content, but it was so much of an afterthought. The alphas hardly interacted with each other (other than internally telling us how they sometimes slept with each other) there was a scene here or there that was thrown in just to include some mlm content, but the rest of the feelings and interactions to back that up weren't there.

Anyway, lastly, I'll just leave a jab at other reviewers shaming the FMC because she's been with lots of other packs, when that is the book's single redeeming quality. These same people don't bat an eye when the MMCs have sordid histories (some even get off on it), but it's suddenly stomach-turning if the FMC has to have others help her through her heats or risk immense pain? Check yourselves.

This was a cute omegaverse story. I liked the kidnapped by mistake plotline and the way the relationships developed. There were a few plot points that seemed a bit unbelievable towards the end, but I was able to suspend my disbelief enough to still enjoy the conclusion. But the ending wasn’t nearly as good as the first 3/4 of the book.

Overall, recommend. I hadn’t read the first in the series and it wasn’t necessary. Works fine as a stand-alone.

This was a 2.8 read for me, but I rounded up to 3 stars. I felt pretty apathetic about most of what happened in this novel..It felt like the story was trying to use dramatic things/scenarios without making this a high drama story, and it just felt like the story wouldn't commit to anything, making it feel very wishy washy and always on the verge of something.

I am conflicted about this story, the writing was done well and there was nothing wrong with it, the story just had sexual aspects that bothered me. Bella, our beautiful, kind, and caring omega has not been treated well. Her very first heat was about as close to SA as it could be. The disgusting pack who courted her in secret, took advantage of her inexperience, naivety, and lack of knowledge about what an omega should expect. They also lied to her, giving her gifts, saying all the right things and promising her that they would bite her and bond her into their pack. As you can guess, this was all just so they could fuck her for several days through her heat. They then threw her out like garbage and treated her with horrible cruelty, verbal and physical abuse. This was really uncomfortable to read, as was the fact that for several years after, every few months, she had to use surrogate packs to help her through her heats and it was made clear that she had been with dozens of alphas and courted by many packs who then said she was not a good fit. It was uncomfortable to read that she had been with dozens and dozens of partners. The best part of this book was the Genovese pack, her true mates. Although they met through an accidental kidnapping, these were examples of real men. Kian (alpha) our stoic and steady leader, Cy (alpha) our hot and nerdy hacker, Maddox (beta) our beautiful ghost and Jameson (alpha) our sexy as sin hitman sigh, Jameson, is there anything better than the most dangerous alpha in the nation becoming an absolute marshmallow for his girl 😍 Jameson is what made me keep going with this book, seeing his devotion and love and caring nature develope was everything. These men are tall, muscular, dangerous, tattooed, and completely in love and devoted to Bella. The sexual scenes between the MMCs both with and without Bella were hot as hell 🥵 I love that the pack showed love physically between the guys but it was even mentioned that before Bella, they took care of omegas in need and even took casual lovers, this made me sad, I like it when the main characters are truly devoted to each other. Their journey is not easy and will have you frustrated and in tears but eventually they get their HEA. Although I will not be reading this again, I do recommend it for readers who can get through the darker aspects of the omegaverse. I am however, really disappointed that there was no epilogue for this story. I really wanted to see her pack's reaction when one of her heats was successful and they had pups on the way.

Genre: Omegaverse Romance
POV: Multiple
Ending: HEA

The characters were well written, with each having a distinct personality (my favorite is Jameson, for sure, but I really enjoyed them all, even Bella, the FMC). I liked how they changed as they fell for Bella, but not so drastically that they weren’t still themselves. Bella’s character growth was decent. The depiction of her struggles with depression and the false front of the sunny disposition hit me hard. The jumping back into the past when she first presented and had her first heat was very flushed out (I do love a good flashback). I don’t want to give spoilers, but the way the story plays out was so perfect. I loved how the guys choose what’s best for her, even when she’s willing to sacrifice. And how she learns to stand up for her own worth (so glad they had to work for it!). There is MM (no problem for me at all), and I appreciate that at least two of the guys have their own established relationship together before Bella is introduced to the pack, and that remains. This has all the things you love about omegaverse and lots of spice! Highly recommend and I will for sure read more by this author!

I received a copy of the book from the author, but my review is entirely voluntary and honest.

Bella is an omega and has just come back from a pack date. She has high hopes fort his pack. But when she goes to check on her app she finds the note from them saying they think she isn't a good fit for her. AGAIN!!?? She's been in the omega house for a year and a a half and the rejections are constant. Why is this happening to her? Is there something wrong with her? As she's waiting for her friend the receptionist tells her she has a letter. It isn't just any old letter. It's a letter confirming she won a ticket to the Darlington Ball! She gets to the ball. She's awe struck. The first day of the ball is fun until she hears people whispering about her. Then one other omega bumps into her and her drink gets dumped on her. She leaves and on her way to her room she notices that a celebrity's door is partially open. She goes in and knowing she shouldn't she tries on one of the dresses. Then she senses something. A male comes at her. Then it goes dark.
Pack Genovese, Jameson,Maddox and Kian took a job to kidnap a high profile omega. Who they got was an unknown omega. One of them is becoming attacked to her. The alpha who hired them to kidnap the heiress tells them to sell her or get rid of her. Now they have to figure out what to do. Her scent is very enticing to them. To matters worse her heat will be coming soon. What are these guys going to do? Will Bella be safe?
A lovely and cute story!.

worst book in the world. and i am being so serious.

one star is one star too many for this.... please do not waste your time reading this, i am so sorry to be a hater but this might be the worst book i have ever read in my entire life. EVER.

starting off with the story itself- plot was weird..... poor omega gets invited to a ball full of rich, wealthy packs. despite her being beautiful, no one wants her... like they all avoid her like the plague and i don't even feel bad for her- she is INSUFFERABLE! anyways, she lowkey looks like this one famous omega, gets kidnapped when her pack were trying to kidnap the popular omega... falls in love with the pack who kidnap her... it was a whole thing.

anyways! she is so annoying. bella is the worst person in the world, i think she is so self-centered and annoying and just stupid. i just do not like her at all. she has no redeeming quality....... and the more you read into it, the more you understand why no one likes her........ like no one.... also what do you mean you fall in love like two days by people that KIDNAPPED YOU???????????????????????

the writing was also god awful. it made bella seem even more insufferable.... no one actually talks like that..... it's giving fanfiction written by 12 years old on wattpad.com in like 2017......

the only good thing about this is the name. knot your right omega is the funniest title ever like that's the only reason i read this because it was funny.... but it was just so bad like.... also natural beauty bella but look at the cover of the book.... i am not a hater but it's giving lip filler and that is fine! but is that what bella is meant to be?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Violet wowed me with this one. It's charming and witty with a twist, of course - but it shows perfectly imperfect characters, carries a great pace, and has some spicy moments you're sure to love!

DNF at ~80%

*spoilers*
The beginning was quite slow but I started to really get into the story until about 70% in. That’s when the “I’ll give you the choice, just kidding I won’t” and “we have to make sure you would choose us” began.

Honestly? Hated it. I started to skim when they tried to apologize. If it were me, there would have been no recovery. But they apologize and internally she turns to jelly. That is when I dropped this book so fast. No. Just no. After everything she went through, all she gave, and she forgives them like that? Disappointed at the mediocre groveling and pathetic excuse of “caring” for her when they know her trauma.

This book would have been better if the last 30% had been cut. Not to mention the numerous grammatical errors and the inability to start a new paragraph when a different character starts to speak that is different than the one just a sentence above.

Disappointing and feels like it could have been handled a different, much more gratifying, way.

The FMC is so strong. She’s been through so much but she still can dream of love and happiness, see things in an optimistic way and believe in goodness.
Ik for some ppl she could be seen as naive and stupid but as a pessimist and a cynic, I’ve nothing but respect for her. True, she put herself in embarrassing situations and said cringy things but she’s raw. She simply wants to love and be loved. She has the Disney princesses type of strength.

Jameson is teddy bear certified yo! Loved him from start to finish.

ok read

The book had too much mm for me. The whole pack of 4 men were having sex with each other. Not sure why they needed a Onega. I like the story to just be about her not her being an afterthought.

This was kind of bland.

There were some holes in the story that never really get fleshed out.

Like... why did Bella have such a hard time finding a pack? We never really found out why she kept getting dumped.

Why would there be a lottery for Omegas to go to this fancy ball, but clothing not be arranged if it was so important. Why would no one talk to Bella even though she was apparently gorgeous, just because she was wearing a cheap dress?

What the heck was going on with the pack that arranged the kidnapping-for-hire and the famous heiress Omega? Did that get resolved? I don't think it did.

Why doesn't Bella's pack just talk to her about their plan instead of abandoning her? It felt really random. Couldn't they have just told her they were going to fix their lives and come court her in a year?

3rd act breakup was brutal

The pack hurt her in the worst possible way, betraying her worse than any other pack had. Yes, they spent the time apart fixing the issues which -in their minds- justified their betrayal, but when it came time for them to come crawling back, they didn’t. There was no grovel, no true understanding of how badly they hurt her and she just let them walk right back into her life with barely any consequences.

If you can tolerate this egregiousness, then it’s worth the read. Decent plot, diverse & well-rounded characters. Spice level is a 1.5 (yawn) because it’s not really inventive or extended- it’s just there. I won’t be following this author. I read the first in the series and it was just as frustrating just in a different way.

this book has a handful of nice moments that it’s easy to get lost in. but when you think about this book as a whole, it’s insane.

the guys are fine, if a little bit interchangeable. they’re not super fleshed out and they don’t really have any significant or specific traits that really differentiate them at all. with the slight exceptions of kian (the standoffish one who originally doesn’t want a pack) and jameson (the killer who is soft for his girl.)

but aside from those two traits, they’re all basically the same.

but my problem comes from bella. she’s a sociopath. let us remember that she manages to get herself kidnapped because she walks into a STRANGER’S room and PUTS ON HER CLOTHES AND PERFUME.

maybe that’s the reason no pack has ever wanted her, because she’s flat out crazy??? obviously the pack she was with as a teenager was just corrupt and abusive and awful, i’m not saying that what they did is excusable, and i understand that she’s traumatized. but on the other hand, this book makes it seem like she goes on a handful of dates with a pack and then begs them to bite her and bond her and fall in love with her, which feels ridiculous.

not to mention that again, my biggest pet peeve is when you don’t get any background into how or why they’re in love. bella seems to fall in love with the pack simply because they’re around and not actively abusing her. we don’t know anything about them other than their jobs. similarly, we don’t know anything about bella other than that she takes classes, likes baking, and needs therapy. but they love her because…reasons?

and even once you get past all that, the “twist” in the end is really played that like…that pack took away bella’s agency and didn’t let her make choices and she’s so hurt and furious and blah blah blah.

and i understand why she feels that way.

but they were right. she was completely hysterical and inconsolable during the raid, she lost her shit when one of them had a minor injury and she screamed and screamed about losing him and whatever. they tried to sit her down and have a conversation about the choices she could make and the fact that she was in danger and the fact that she would have to cope with them being in danger, and she refused to listen. she screamed at them about trying to reject her. if they had tried to say “hey, we’re gonna keep our distance for a while because we have to create new lives for ourselves before we bring you into the pack,” she would have screamed and cried and whined about that too, even though that would be THEIR choice, not hers.

so sure, does it suck that they had to trick her? yeah. but did she leave them any other option? no. she has given them no reason to believe that she would be receptive to a productive conversation. so, no, there wasn’t a way for them to “talk this out” or “communicate” because every time they tried, she threw a tantrum about them leaving her instead of looking at the bigger picture of their safety.

and by the end when she’s like “secretly i want them back but i want to make them suffer hehe” it just makes me hate her. because she wants them to “suffer” for doing the right thing. she’s all hurt pride and emotions instead of being like “hmm i see what they did and why my actions made them feel like they couldn’t communicate about it.” AND she still hasn’t gotten any therapy for her prior traumas, so i can’t imagine she’s any more well adjusted than she was in the first place.

this book could’ve been something fantastic, but every character just needs something more to define them, and bella in particular needs to grow up and act like an adult instead of throwing fits when she doesn’t get what she wants.

I have read both books in the Knots and Nests Series by Violet Coltair and it just so happens to be the second book I have actually read by this author. I thought for sure I was going to love this book more than the previous one, but that just wasn't the case. The plot was original, exciting, action packed, funny, sweet, emotional, filled with plenty of action and several intimate scenes making it an entertaining read. I absolutely loved Jameson, Maddox, Cy and Kian - these four were genuinely good men at heart even though they were involved in some shady business. The men honestly cared about Bella and displayed this through their actions many times. It became clear from the very beginning that this little omega was perfect for them and their destined mate. Bella is a beautiful and strong woman at heart. Due to her repeated experiences since presenting as an omega Bella has developed a very low self-esteem and has started to question what is wrong with her. Bella is enamored with these four men and quickly becomes attached to them. There were several times Bella frustrated me with her irrational responses to the men's concerns for her safety and well being. Based on her past Bella didn't listen to what Jameson, Maddox, Cy and Kian were saying to her, but rather heard what she thought they were saying. I actually found myself wanting to skim pages at times because of the length of the story, but stuck it out because at the end of the day this was a very well written book.

Bella has been living at the omega house longer than any other omega. Several packs have courted her, but have chosen not to bite her in as a member cutting ties suddenly without warning. Then everything changes when Bella receives an invitation to the Darlington Ball. This is a prestigious event for omegas and packs to be introduced in hopes of making a match. Bella was lucky to be one of the omegas picked from the lottery. Things do not go quiet the way Bella had hoped for and she finds herself leaving the ball early. When she notices the famous Celeste Harringday's door is not closed all the way she decides to enter. Since Bella resembles Celeste and has decided to play dress up in her room she is inadvertently taken. Now she finds herself at a safe house with four handsome men and no idea what they plan to do with her. Lucky for Bella Jameson, Maddox, Cy and Kian become smitten with her and she finds herself being cared for in way she has never experienced. Bella is the happiest she has ever been and on the cusp of living her dream when an unexpected situation develops. Once again Bella finds herself rejected, lonely, devastated and angry by the men she thought were her forever pack. Will Bella be able to forgive Jameson, Maddox, Cy and Kian if they decide to show back up in her life asking for a second chance?

From the beginning Bella’s life as an Omega hasn’t worked out as she hoped. She’s been taken advantage of, used, and discarded. Her self-esteem has taken blows but she still dreams of true love and a pack of her own. When she wins a lottery ticket to the most exclusive omega ball in the nation, the Darlington Ball, she just knows her luck has changed. She could never imagine. Pack Genovese is technically in real estate but it’s their seedy side business that brings their paths to cross. They were hired to kidnap the country’s most famous Omega but instead, ended up with Bella. Fortunate mistake. This pack of hardened criminals soon finds themselves enamored with the sweet little Omega and looking towards forever. Then reality hits.

I enjoyed this story. The dialogue could have been better at times but I liked the story. I enjoyed the minor twist of Omegas not being valued simply for their designation. This was a superficial society where appearances, fortunes, and celebrity played a role determining value. It was still hard to believe Bella would have such difficulty finding a pack. She was beautiful, looking like the top celebrity Omega in the country, bubbly, and sweet. She had to be putting out no-value vibes. My heart went out to her. However, my favorite part of this book was the Genovese pack. Although they met through an accidental kidnapping, they came across as honorable men. Kian, the conscientious leader, Maddox, his beta, Cy, the hot hacker, and adorable Jameson the deadly assassin turned marshmallow for Bella. I loved this pack, their buried emotions, and the lengths they were willing to go to for Bella.

I loved this book, and once I started, I couldn’t put it down. It follows the classic Cinderella goes to the ball theme, but with an OV flair.

Bella is a surprise Omega from the poor side of her hometown. After a bad experience with some unscrupulous alphas, she moves herself to a state run facility for Omegas looking for a pack. Unfortunately for her, she is courted multiple times, but not chosen leading to a whopping case of low self-esteem. Despite this, she tries to maintain a positive outlook with the help of her best fiend, Piper. But as good luck would have it, Bella wins a lottery ticket to the Darlington Ball where the wealthy mingle and omegas meet many packs. But it is just her bad luck that she ends up kidnapped after a case of mistaken identity. Or is it really bad luck?

I loved how the alphas fall for Bella, with the biggest and scariest being the first to turn to goo. It doesn’t take long before the rest of the pack follow and try to find a way to keep her in their life. Despite her trials, Bella was going to try and keep what was hers. But those d@mn Alphas had other plans.

I really enjoyed this book. It is a quick and easy read. There is some character development but mostly it is just all around fun. And I definitely had a “you go girl” moment at the end! Story was a 3/5 with 4/5 for spice. This one is definitely a keeper and I’ll be checking out her other works ASAP!.

Bella’s Lucky MisAdventure . . .

Bella Carter was disappointed again and again as the packs who had courted her ultimately decided that, despite her wonderful disposition and spirit, she just wasn’t a good fit for joining their pack. Why did none of them want her? Everything seemed to go so well until the rejection text arrived. Even the other omegas avoid her now, figuring she might be “bad luck” for them too! Then she won a lottery to attend Darlington Ball, an Omega event where she would meet a huge number of packs looking for their own special Omega. But even given this amazing opportunity, something goes wrong. Bella had run into wealthy socialite Celeste Harringday’s room, wearing a similar gown as Celeste wore, and was mistakenly grabbed by the hired thugs so that she would not attend a board meeting. To the kidnappers’ surprise, their victim fought hard against being captured, but the Alpha Jameson was big and powerful and subdued her quickly.

The kidnappers from the notorious Pack Genovese finally figured out what happened. And Jameson knew the entire pack would be attracted to this Omega’s sweet scent. Will the pack want her as their own? Would she want to stay with them? And would the disreputable Deloney Pack from her past, who made her doubt her own worth, finally get what they deserve?

Bella’s used to being rejected nobody ever wants her. I love her courage and determination to keep searching for her forever pack despite all the rejections and her past experiences. She just has to find the right pack or maybe the right pack will find her. It’s not the most ideal situation but Bella eventually finds herself amongst her pack just not the way she expected, this sassy omega is determined to keep them. I love how this little omega has the power to turn these criminals into love struck marshmallows. Kian's reaction to Jameson’s softness with Bella was hilarious the big scary assassin is a completely different person around Bella. Kian was way too stubborn in accepting the bond with Bella but it made it that much sweeter when he finally did. I love the fact that Bella’s not scared of her mates, it just melts my heart that these hardened criminals are able to find happiness with Bella their mate. Lots of hot male on male action with an omega who loves to watch, spicy scenes focused on the omega and a HEA.

She's an omega hoping for love

Bella is an omega who can't find a pack who want to keep her. When she wins a ticket to the omega Darlington Ball she's delighted as this might be her chance, but after hearing whispers about someone she gets a drink dumped on her. On her way to her room to change she finds a celebrity's door open and while trying on a dress she is knocked out and kidnapped.

Jameson, Cy, Maddox and Kian (Pack Genovese) are mercenaries for hire, but when they're hired to kidnap Celeste they feel that something isn't right and soon realise they've got the wrong omega, but they're all attracted to her. When they're told to get rid of her they have to decide what to do; with her and with their feelings. Can they prove themselves to be the right pack for this little omega?

A lovely story, with slow build romance, great chemistry, light humor, kidnapping, misunderstandings, and a great HEA.

Knot the Right Omega by Violet Coltair is a contemporary Omegaverse that lets you soak in the cozy and comfortable moments with touches of pack politics, classism, and organized crime.

The world-building is done well to help build tension and weight to the events the FML and MLs experience. The pace is pretty steady, but I personally got thrown off by some flashbacks and had to re-settle in. They are important to understanding the FML leads' backgrounds.

The FML is so endearing, and even with her background, I'm obsessed with her spunk in interacting. The MLs have a great range of tropes but not like Violet was trying to check boxes and more like building a ground that meshes together and bridges gaps. Also, there are Cinnomroll moments from the big scary alphas Chefs Kiss.

Even with some moments that broke me out of the zone, I highly recommend this book, and I'm excited to read more from Violet in the future.

I don't know exactly what to say about this book. I liked it, but I couldn't specifically tell you why I liked it. I know having to figure out who was talking got annoying. Each chapter was more or less a huge paragraph that never ended, and I'm not a fan of that. Also, Bella, I loved her because she's me, but because she is so similar to me, I saw what was coming a mile away. I wanted to be mad at her, but I get it. Some people get rejected so many times they become cold, and heartless other people turn to what's wrong with me. I just want someone to want me so they get with whoever makes them feel wanted. It's not right, but I understood. All in all, I wish her pack could've gotten clean with her there. The added rejection was a shit move, especially so soon after her heat. They came back and she forgives them but it only took a date and some sweet words. Should've made them suffer or sweat.

not gonna lie I got mad a few times

Bella has been discarded after her beat with every pack she has matched with. She is starting to feel like she will never find the pack for her but she tries to fake it until she makes it. She wins a chance of a lifetime to go to a ball and hopefully find a pack. But she is mistaken for another Omega and kidnapped. The pack that took her find that they messed up the mission but that might be the best mistake of their lives.

I loved Jamison. Instantly going from scary dude to a devoted love struck softy. Definitely my favorite.

I got mad when we were 70% and there was happiness on the horizon, I knew what that meant but then they weren’t going to do it and then they were and then they weren’t and then they did. Got pretty frustrated there but it was short lived and I enjoyed the book.

MMMMF, 3 alphas, 1 beta

FMC gets kidnapped but actually wasn't meant to be...they were aiming for somebody else and ended up kidnapping her. All of the men that take her are actually scent matches.

These men are dangerous Pack Genovese has a multitude of enemies, they worry for FMC. They end up pushing her away and finding new ways to work without having all of these targets on their backs.

When she ends up rich because she was assumed kidnapped and had millions raised for her she comes into heaps of money. This means she helps her parents move out of their shitty town and invites them to live with her in a guest house.

When Pack Genovese comes back at a ball she is holding, all those rogue feelings come rushing back. She hasn't been the same since them. That time when they had a heat together was amazing.

I adored this story. I loved the plot and world this was placed in. Things certainly don’t start out according to plan. Then Bella snags herself some morally gray men, or rather they accidentally snag her. Seeing the biggest and scariest alpha fall head over heels was my favorite part. Watching the pack come together and realize who she was to them played out perfectly. Things were not all sunshine and roses. There were twists I didn’t see coming. I had some serious heartbreak for a minute. Luckily things workout as they should. I hadn’t read the first book in this series but I will be going back and reading it. I really enjoyed Violet’s writing. I look forward to reading more.

This is the second book I've read in this series and I have enjoyed both of them. Both work well as standalones, but provide a richer story when you've read both of them.

Bella is just a doll. She's determined to find happiness no matter what, but struggles with knowing her own worth. Pack Genovese is sweet. Nothing like bad boys will to do anything to get their girl.

There is something to be said for those stories that reach deep and wrench at your heart. There is also something to be said for those stories that just leave you all warm and fuzzy with a soft sigh at the end. This is one of those stories.

I will definitely read more of Violet's books.

All Bella wants is a pack...and rejection is all she gets. In Omegaverse, Omegas are to be cherished and treated kindly, but Bella continues to be rejected but still keeps believing that the right pack is out there. When a kidnapping goes wrong Bella shows her strength and the fight that she developed when she lived in the poor area of her community. I loved how she is able to turn the biggest and deadliest Alpha to a big pile of Alpha goo! The spice was moderate (I just wish there was more of it...but that is just my preference!). Jameson is my FAVORITE Alpha because he does turn into a cinnamon roll. Overall it was a great Omegaverse that is likely to appeal to anyone who enjoys this genre!
