Everything feels off—especially me. I’ve returned to Katmere Academy, but I’m haunted by fragments of days I have no recollection of living and struggling to understand who, or what, I really am.
Just when I start to feel safe again, Hudson is back with a vengeance. He insists there are secrets I don’t know about, threatening to drive a wedge between Jaxon and me forever. But far worse enemies are at our doorstep.
The Circle is caught in a power play and the Vampire Court is trying to drag me out of my world and into theirs. The only thing Hudson and Jaxon agree on is that leaving Katmere would mean my certain death.
And not only am I fighting for my life, but now everyone else’s is at stake—unless we can defeat an unspeakable evil. All I know is that saving the people I love is going to require sacrifice.
Maybe more than I’m able to give.

Book 2 was even better how? This series has quickly ended up on my top 10 list of YA fantasy faves. ❤️
Quick details: 🩸first person pov 🩸mostly single pov (a couple chapters in another's pov) 🩸Twilight vibes with a dash of hunger games 🩸love triangle 🩸slow burn 🩸super angsty 🩸found family 🩸fated mates 🩸unique magic 🩸mythical creatures
The first book was good, gave me those same fuzzy feelings Twilight did years ago. But this book? AMAZING! o m g. First off, the plot twists were insane, every time I thought I might have figured something out, I learned I am in fact wrong about everything. The character growth? Fantastic! The way Grace finally starts handling her own shit is inspiring fr. She don't need no man, back tf up. 😂. Which is why I say this has Twilight "vibes", because Bella could never, she was too co-dependent. Where Grace is the complete opposite and I love her for it. I am team Hudson 100%, that man could have committed the atrocities Jaxon accused him of and it would not change my mind. Jaxon is all whiny and "alpha male" type. Where as Hudson is more "I want to protect you, but I know you got this boo 😘". I adore him. That ending? Now, that I did kind of see coming but I still screeched like a whole eagle because I was so excited. So, this book was everything and you should read it or listen to it, or else. period. 😆😘
I thought I would be sad about how this book turned out after listening to part 1 but oh. My. God. It’s perfect. And my theories were right! Also congrats. First audiobook to make me cry! 5/5⭐️ read 100%!
In this one we get to follow what happens in part 2 and the team now has to gather five things so that Hudson no longer can stay in Grace’s mind. But is Hudson really the person everyone tells us he is? Or is there something going on Jackson didn’t tell us or doesn’t know?
This book was an absolute masterpiece and I loved every single second of reading it! I highly recommend giving this series a try!
So I wasn’t super happy when Hudson was introduced the first book gave me major twilight with a twist vibes so when Hudson was introduced I thought oh no he’s gonna be Jacob and she’s gonna stay with the weird shiny skin 1,000 year old virgin dude but it wasn’t and I was so happy I feel like it was done very well and still have her own story and goals without making to entirely about who she’s going to be with but overall i absolutely loved the ending and I like Hudson’s pov but I’m excited for the next book already❤️❤️🦇❤️

Crush is the second book in the Crave series and it picks up months after the ending of Crave, the first book in the series. I just loved getting to reenter this world and see what is currently going on. I am just absolutely loving this world. The characters are just so great and I just love that we got to meet some new ones and that a family was formed. There is just so much going on in this story and the ending. Oh my goodness. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
the last part was better than the first but still blah. LOTS of repetitive writing/descriptions. Writing seems very immature, and very wattpad like. I knew the “plot twist” at the end of the story was coming (literally write in my notes so many times) and while i’m happy said plot twist happens, i don’t know if it’s enough to make me want to read the next one 💀
New rating system: 1 star for different voices- check 1 star for interesting plot - check 1 star for kept my attention - check 1 star for made me emotional/can’t get out of my head - no 1 star for would buy book for my shelf- no
Overall, it was a good waste of time while I was at work. Kept me just entertained enough not to zone out and have no clue what was happening but nothing special.
I enjoyed this more than the first book. Didn't think I'd really like this character, but he grew a lot on me. Cliff hanger ending, leaving me needing to read the next one right now. I still don't like the male voice for Jackson. Makes him sound really old. Lol
This book was definitely better than the first. Still trying to figure out how Hudson is “in her” but he added the conflict I think was needed. And the ending? Ok, I guess I’ll read the next one…
📖 Summary: Everything escalates in this installment — emotionally, magically, romantically, and dangerously.
Grace’s powers? Still evolving. Jaxon’s walls? Crumbling. The Circle? Getting messy. And Hudson? He’s not just a memory anymore… 👀
This second half brings the drama, the twists, and a full-on supernatural emotional rollercoaster. And the voice acting? It lives rent-free in your ears.
Moments that hit hard:
Grace finally stepping into her power (about time, queen 👑)
Jaxon spiraling into protectiveness and pain
Those lingering Hudson memories? Let’s just say… the ghost of exes past isn’t playing nice
The final confrontation? Pure chaos and tension and TEARS 😭
💖 Character / Audio Reactions:
Grace’s emotional whiplash? 10/10 felt every torn heartbeat. Jaxon’s sulky growls and soft pleading? Melted. Hudson’s voice echoing in your mind like a haunted lullaby? Screamed. Macy’s peppy magic-girl vibes? A light in the chaos. The Council scenes?? Gave you chills with every cold decree.
✨ Themes that hit like a truck:
Love doesn’t erase trauma
Trust is a battle — and not everyone wins
Being powerful doesn’t mean being safe
And yes, soulmates can absolutely break you
🔥 Smut Level: No on-page spice, but the audio suggestiveness was THICC. Every time Jaxon whispered? Core memory. Every Hudson flashback? Tingled. Every charged silence? 🫠🫠🫠 #SmutTags: #MindWhispersOfDesire #TensionTurnedWeapon #GhostBoyProblems #JaxonBroodsBeautifully #KissMeOrKillMeVibes #EmotionallyRuinedByAudio

I don't know if I am just getting used to Macy's voice or if it's slowly becoming less annoying as I continue on....
Also, I am still hoping with all hope that we get to learn what happened with Grace and Hudson during those three months. Like DYING to know at this point because my man Hudson deserves it all!!!!
1000 stars, all the actors are amazing. Book is 4, GA is 5 because as usual it slapped. Also, you’ve got Stewart Crank, Gabriel Michael and Anthony Palmini together - there’s no world where that’s not going to be 5 stars.
