4 stars. ‘Sleeping Beauty’ retelling and I really liked it! Mal curses Arla with magic as a baby and they reunite on Arla’s 32nd birthday and teaches her how to wield her magic. I thought it was fun and sexy and left me wanting more by the end.

Liked it!

I like the different take on Maleficent and Aurora, with the spice as a bonus. My only thing was that I wish Mal was fleshed out a little more and the timeline for everything was very quick so it made Arl seem like didn’t have deep feelings and thoughts.
