Logan Rush had everything that he had ever wanted until the day his world was shaken by an ancient prophecy. Now, with the painful coordinates etched into his arm and nightmares convincing him to kill the girl that he loves, he struggles to redeem his immortal, evil soul. Violet settles into his heart when he least expects her, giving him purpose and a reason to love again. Finally reunited after the horrors of the castle, they plan for their lives together as husband and wife. A stranger arrives, his intentions made clear as Logan is forced to acknowledge that his past is gone... But can never be forgotten.
I didn't love this one as much as the first three I missed Roam and West as the main couple.I can't wait to start Eva's story but I will be sad when this series is over.
How many consuming loves can you have? More than one, Logan learns.
Logan Rush's life has been intertwined with Roam's as long as he can remember. First with friendship in their childhood, then first love in their teens. Now, that love has morphed again to that of a brother and another one's love has come to claim his heart. But can the obstacles facing that love be surmounted or will the walls be too high to climb?
Smart and beautiful, Violet is totally unprepared for the life of magic she has been thrown into. A single goal of finding her mother has been enhanced by alternative universes, immorality, magic, and an impossible love. Armed with recent revelations, she wonders: should she experience the temporary happiness of this love, or forgo it to eliminate an eternity of residual pain?
Can they locate a solution to the obstacles facing this impossible love, or are they destined to love and lose?
With this fourth installment you are kept wondering from page to page if Logan will finally receive his happily ever after. You have sympathy and empathy for their plight to surmount the obstacles facing this impossible love. Is there an answer to their dilemma, and will they find it in time?
Well written with well developed characters. I would highly recommend this book!
Once again, Kimberly Stedronsky hooked me with her marvelous art of weaving an intricate story based on the interconnected characters of this series. I love every single character she has introduced...even Troy!! I need to savor these books, the final installment isn't until September!
I was extremely lucky to get an early release of this wonderfully written book. I couldn't put it down. I love that this book let's both Logan's and Violet's voices be heard. We get to hear their personal stories and you really understand the characters so much better. Logan and Violet have been through so much in their short young lives and you weave in and out of their relationship in 'Rush.' You think you know these characters from the first three books, but reading from their point of views puts a whole different spin on their lives. I also liked the fact that we learn a little more about Roam and West, and a little more about Troy. There's many 'steamy' sections and I wouldn't expect anything less, being told from Logan's perspective.I thoroughly enjoyed "Rush" and look forward to the next book, Rule!
To be honest, I actually wanted to skip this book and go straight to rule but thought that I should stick with the series, and oh how pleased I was.
I (like everyone else who is addicted to this series) am a Roam and West fan, so when I saw this book was about Vi and Logan I was hesitant. The first half of the book is a quick run through of the past three books from L+V's perspective, the remainder is a new story focusing on Logan and Vi. I love how quick witted and cheeky these two are. I got really frustrated at Logan toward the end and than got annoyed with Vi for being lovely, I would have kicked his ass!
I love Stedronsky's style of writing, I am an absolute and devoted fan. I am starting Rule now.
No sure I get why we needed to change POV with this one. I guess we have more insight into Logan now, though. Eva is becoming very interesting. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. I miss Roam and West as the main focus, but I guess this story has more places to go and more characters to take us there.
Logan's story - Logan is quite scarey at times - will he resist his dreams/nightmares and protect Roan and her children or will the prophecy come true? He still seems torn with his love for Roan - will Roan and Logan end up together - keep reading each book to find the answers
Kimberly Stedronsky, you've done it again! I absolutely loved Rush! Logan is positively swoon worthy ;) If you haven't read the Roam Series, you need to. Its become one of my top favorites!
Logan's life was perfect. The perfect girl, the perfect future. Then the prophecy derailed his world. Disturbing nightmares of him killing Roam over and over in multiple lives. Time at a cold castle full of torture and heartache. But without all of the bad, he would have never met Violet West. She makes everything perfect. However, he's not worthy.
Yes, there were some answers scattered along the way. But it seemed as if this series took a major step sideways to tie up a few loose ends. Logan and Violet are no West and Roam. For all of Roam's crying, she has never been petty. Logan and Violet making fun of her showed their weak characters. With everything she sacrificed and endured to save everyone, they had no right to judge. Worse, their love story didn't begin to compare. Lust, not love. It never carried the weight of Roam and West's love and therefore, the book didn't measure up either. Please keep supporting characters in their place. No Morgan and Jason! Keep the major prophecy players front and center. Roam, West, Eva, and Will, maybe Christopher.
This book is about Logan and Violet, written in their POVs. As I've read the books in the series continuously, I find myself skimming through the beginning of the book and only slowing down when I encounter some tidbits that weren't included in the previous books.
It took half of the story (52%) before bringing us to the latest timelines. So, if it has been a while since you have read the story, it would be great to refresh your memory with the introduction.
Moving forward, I find the storylines in this book about Violet and Logan a bit boring. The enemy isn't as dangerous as Troy. But, those who adore this couple may find HEA in this book. As for me, I'm more inclined to read about Eva now that she's getting powerful. I can't wait!
💖💜 love Logan and Violet 💜💖 I completely ❤️ love ❤️ this series!!! I LOVE the different take on the story and I LOVE the characters...Logan is such a sweet guy and thought he has been thru a lot and even West had let go of his feelings of the past for his Eva. Loved this book, didn’t like what Roam went through but absolutely love this series. Definitely recommend this book and all of the other ones.
Wow, I’m really scared of the next book as these have progressively gotten more and more harsh and brutal. This storyline is fantastic if not complicated. I love these characters and their attitudes. #PinkFlamingoProductions #FlockReview #AudiobookObsessionReviewer
The Roam series has captivated me from the start and RUSH is no different, well maybe a little. See this is the story of Logan and Violet as told from the start as their lives begin to change and then they come to know each other. I wasn't sure what to expect after book 3 but reading RUSH added an amazing new dimension to the story I already know and the story yet to be told. I got to see the events of ROAM, FALL, RISE through the eyes of Logan and Violet and I was even more engrossed than before. New information and emotions were brought to light and allowed me to fall in love all over again and re-energized my love in the series.
The struggle for Logan for the woman he thought he loved more than anything, the past lives that torment him and the woman he was meant to have captivated me. Violet is such a strong character that I did not quite click with in the other stories but fell in love with in this one. As always there were very few questions left unanswered (my only one being about a particular doctor who knows things). Moments of suspense, anxiety, and most of all love. Even humor finds its way mixed in.
This series is as always one I would highly recommend so if you haven't started I recommend you do. I will be starting book #5 very soon.
Not going to lie I have been waiting for this for some time now! We get to see what Logan went thru so far. I love Logan, at times I really wanted to dislike him but I felt bad that he goes thru everything he does. Being able to see it in this book broke me even more and cemented the feeling and sorrow that I have for him. I always hopes that Logan worried get his HEA and I wanted it so bad to be with Violet, so read this book to find out what happens!
I can't give too much details but this is the first 3 books from Logan's POV also at the halfway mark we get a whole new look on things that are happening and it makes you wonder where the author is going with this! You will want to read it!!!! 5 stars!
Love the series but this one was a bit all over the place. I struggled to keep up with the timing... I will say this story ties up a lot of loose ends from prior books, and you have a better understanding of how things came to be. I guess with all the action in the other books this one just seems boring because it's filling you in on everything
For the most part I liked this book. It was weird not having Roam as our narrator, but I enjoyed learning more about Logan and Violet. At first I thought re-telling pieces of Roam, Fall and Rise from Logan's POV was pointless, but they really enriched the story in the end. I grew to love Logan and Vi. I would say I'm glad they found their HEA, but I know the story's not over yet.
Not my favorite but I liked the continuation of the story in the book. Not really loving rush and violet. But I did like there HEA. 3.5/5. My favorite was parts were Roam, West, and Eva.
Rush is the 4th book in the Roam Series. Rush follows Logan and Violet. I really enjoyed Rush and can't wait to continue with the Roam Series. I love Logan and Violet.
