I enjoyed the book itself but it was frustrating to read with all of the typos. Between missing punctuation, misspelled words, using the wrong characters name, etc.

I really enjoyed the story 'Her Protective Daddies' by Ava Gray. It was about a woman who was unintentionally involved with a dangerous mafia villain who is bent on capturing her in order to get to her drug affected father who has stolen incriminating evidence against this dangerous killer. Selena is the daughter of an ex-cop who unfortunately became addicted to the very drugs he had tried to get off the streets. But now he has done something that pulls Selena into his dangerous schemes and the mafia head is ready to beat and kill her to get to her father. When two handsome vice officers rescue her from being beaten and tortured, they take her to stay in their house with a private detective and his five-year-old son. Selena for the first time in her life is protected and cherished by these men instead of being the one who has to protect her father from his drug induced actions. While they are protecting her from this mafia killer and his henchmen, they show Selena how much they have come to care for her. The action in this book as she is being hunted down and trying to locate her father who ran and left her at the mercy of brutal men is intense and suspenseful and makes for a well worth reading story.

Great storytelling… but so many mistakes

Firstly, I want to make it clear that I truly did love this book. Which is why it is so frustrating because I actually really like the story and the characters but sadly the continual errors and poor grammar made this so difficult to read.

This is the second book I’ve read by this author, and that also had a lot of little errors. I hoped it was just that one book where the mistakes had slipped through for whatever reason… but within just a few pages, the same glaring issues appeared. Wrong names used, wrong vocabulary, typo’s. So many, that I almost didn’t finish. But that wasn’t fair to this great storyteller, so I persevered and I’m glad I did.

All these things should have been picked up by proofreaders or beta readers. And it’s an increasing issue through the ability to self publish without going through the more editing process that publishers insist upon. Just this small attention to detail would have a huge positive impact I’m sure.

I loved Her Protector Daddies: A Reverse Harem Mafia Romance Harem Hearts. Selena is having a bad day thanks again to her father, she keeps trying to help him but now he’s really put her in danger with the cartel. If it weren’t for the police she would probably be dead. Apparently he stole from the wrong man and now they will stop at nothing to get back what he stole even if it means using his daughter. Bailey and Tyler are detectives working her case with Jay, a private detective. Now they are sharing a house and her but danger is catching up to them and nothing can keep her safe. Lots of drama, suspense, and steamy scenes. I loved the storyline and the characters, three alpha males loving and protecting is not bad! I would definitely recommend this book.

A good read.

This was a good easy read, with interesting characters and a good plot. But the story didn’t have any bite, and you miss a lot, especially the build up to their relationship. You’d have a seen then it would be two weeks later. There is no really character growth either, especially in how they all come together, I mean these men were friends but nothing was mentioned about sharing the same girl, they had s3x separately and then at the end they got a house together! So much was missing which is a shame. The plot was great and the whole thing could have been amazing, especially for a duet. So if you want a very low angst, sweet, gentle read this is for you.

Young woman who is struggling to keep life together with an ex cop drug addict father. He puts her in danger . She is rescued by a sexy cop and he has 2 friends. Jay , Tyler and Bailey decided that they are going to protect her. She falls for each of them in the process along with Jays son DAE. They go through a lot of violence and betrayal before they can convict the man behind all their problems. This is an action packed thriller about corruption and violence. But is is also a love story between the three men and their woman. Her father ends up doing the right thing by his daughter by coming forward with the items he stole from the crime lord. It toes all his crimes so that he is convicted.

Protectors

Selena is a strong young woman who's been taking care of her drug-addicted ex-cop father. When he commits a crime against a Cartel leader, goons come after both of them. Abandoned by her father, Selena is beaten and tortured and the cops assigned to her case take a personal interest in her. The storyline focuses more on crime and pursuit of justice while the main characters fall in love. Enough steamy scenes; but with a refreshing emphasis on an actual story.

Selena is just about making it from day to day when her father blows that out of the water. Initially, trying to protect him, puts her in danger and brings her to the attention of detectives Tyler and Bailey and their friend, Jay.

Selena is a sweet, tough young woman dealt a rough hand in life. After the danger her father, Marcus puts her in can she afford to trust the three men? Can she afford not to trust them?

A fantastic fast paced, page turner filled with danger, distrust, betrayals, action and hot passion. Thoroughly enjoyable and exactly what you would expect from this author.

The storyline is great. Selena is struggling to meet ends meet caring for her father an ex-cop who took the wrong path. Her car ends up totaled and now a mafia drug lord is out to settle a score and she is a target. A target who is still willing to protect her dad even when a detective and his friends are willing to help her. The twists and turns throughout the story captivate you and leave you wanting to know what’s going to happen next.

Daughter in Danger

Gave up about halfway through

I overlooked a lot of things that made me roll my eyes but once the Captain “ordered” a civilian be used in an official capacity, I was done. Wouldn’t happen. Couldn’t happen. The most that could be done would be to ASK the civilian if they’d be willing to help.

I can overlook a lot but creating an obviously bullcrap reason so a character can be put in peril is just too much. There is only so much my suspension of disbelief can take. This was a step too far.

When Selena becomes a target by a psychotic drug lord, her path intersects with 2 gorgeous detectives and a sexy PI. The steam builds between all of the men and her. This story is a wonderful take on the reverse harem genre.

The action is wonderfully written and the steam is fantastic.

I thought this was a good book. Selena has been taking care of her dad ever since her mother left and he left the LAPD vice department which left him a drug addict. He has gotten into serious trouble now with the Dorame drug cartel and now she is involved. She now has met Bailey and Tyler who are detectives trying to bring the cartel down. They have brought her to Jay who is a PI to protect her. The three of them live together and now she is with them while she is under their protection. She develops a relationship with all three. She finds security and trust in them that she never had with her father. It had suspense and steamy romance with an HEA.

I loved how the story started.....a car accident.

This was a mystery, suspense, police/ mafia drug case with a reverse harem - why choose mixed in and this is how I want to read RH/WC from now on...
The story grabbed me with the action and suspense, intrigue and did not let up.
The plot was good and the story...wow!!!
There are some inconsistencies, that why no 5 stars
Also. I would have loved for her to have the baby. Just to see who it looked like....

This reverse harem features Selena, who has fallen into the crosshairs of a dangerous criminal whom her father has stolen from and the three men assigned to protect her. This book was very fast-paced, with a plot that would suit an action movie. Really enjoyed this five stars.

This book was so action packed! I loved it! Selena, Jay, Tyler and Bailey and Dae all have my heart! ♥️ I’m ready to read the second book in this series. Selena’s dad, former undercover cop, was not a great dad. He hurt her, left her with harmful people. Her protectors were there for her.

an unexpectedly good read

This was a good mixture of a basic cop story with a mafia twist.
The character development was good. Selena’s dad was a toad, but the cops who were into Selena were good guys. I liked the chemistry between them.
Overall I think this was a good read and I suggest others read it.

Great story

This was an excellent story and I do recommend reading it. However, if you are quick to DNF books do to editing, then you may want to pass. The editing did bother me but to be honest, the storyline kept me hooked and made it so I could get through.

The suspense will have you on the edge of your seat. It's not spicy but there are a few scenes.

FMC was slightly annoying!

It was hard to enjoy reading this story because of all the grammatical errors and trying to figure out the corrects words in other areas. The FMC was annoying through at least half of the book. She acted like a total brat through part of the story but by the end I didn't mind her as much.

DNF 70%. I can’t believe how many people gave this trash 5 stars. The writing was horrible and my kindle copy had so many grammatical errors it was painful to continue. So happy I finally threw in the towel and returned it. Worst RH read in a long time.

Couldn't put this book down!

There was so much action going on from the very beginning.
More than just cops and robbers.
Heads of cartels are evil that is a given, but this one is so much worse.
