I don't believe I'm quite at the midlife point yet but this was a brilliant read. I like the fact there has clearly been a lot of thought and research put into this book.

I think if you are looking for a massive wake up call and reality check read this! It really does make you think about all the important things in life especially health and how much we can actually do to change our own lives and have a healthy wellbeing.

This book is essentially an anthology of short contributions from various experts and public figures, with only a few pages from Gabby herself. I wasn’t familiar with her before, but her warm, non-judgemental tone comes through, and she seems well known.

The range of contributors and topics is impressive, but the brevity meant none of the subjects were explored in much depth.

I got a separate book by one of the contributors to learn more—which may well be the book’s intention.

I am such a fan of Gabby I was thrilled to listen to this. And at 45 years old, I am perfectly placed to read it!

I definitely have lots of things to think about as I approach the end of this year, diet and exercise in particular. Thanks Gabby!

It’s ok but not a patch on the podcasts, a couple of interesting take home messages.
