Hellhound Shifters is a completed Urban Fantasy series packed with action, adventure, and a slow-burn M/M Ménage Romance. Get ready to meet a buff and geeky hellhound shifter, a delicious human barman, and a tempting hellhound colleague with muscles for days. There's a whole host of nasties causing drama, and not enough gaming going on.
This collection contains all four novels in the series:
I’ve been in hellhound training with my brothers all my life. Now I’m ready to step outside of my bubble at the academy and actually implement my training for real—even if my boyfriend just broke up with me.
Whatever. Time to level up!
There are cracks in the world. Condemned souls are slipping out of Hell through those weak points, coming out to play in the realm of the living. As a hellhound shifter assigned the role of Protector, it’s my job to keep the streets safe. No problem. I’m happy to jump into the fray, even if it’ll be a real drain on the gaming time. Also, someone or something is trying to get into Hell. Weird. I mean, who would actually want to go there? Souls always want out, not in.
Busy days ahead.
Throw into the mix an extremely flirty human bartender I can’t get out of my head, along with a fellow hellhound setting my pulse racing, and the chances of ever getting my elf wizard to level 50 are slipping away.
Richard Amos is an author from England who is constantly lost in the worlds he writes about, and the ones in the queue yet to be written. He also has more books in his house than anything else, and is never without a book (and chocolate) in his hands when he's not writing. He’s a proud nerd who loves to dance. Hard.
Richard writes M/M Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, and Paranormal Romance, all with tons of kick-ass action, adventure, twisty plots, and yummy times.
Hellspawn: This is the first book that I have read by this author. I really enjoyed this book. Great start to a new series. Lots of action, in full fantasy mode with hellhounds, shifters and magic. Looking forward to reading the next one.
Hellstorm: This is the 2nd book in this series and it keeps getting better and better. Micah is missing and Lyle gets kidnapped to be able to enhance his powers. Draven is trying to be a great beta and keeping the peace against the hellspawns. Cannot wait for the next book.
Hellfire: This is the third book in the series and OMG this is amazing. The twists and turns in this book keeps you on the edge of your seat. A lot of action, pain and magic as everyone is after the chain and armour. Then there is Draven conflicted between 2 men. Cannot wait for the final book to come out to see how everything turns out.
Hellbound: This is the final book in this series and you must read the first as it is a continuation. Wow. I must say what a ride. This concludes with all your questions answered and you hope that maybe somewhere down the line maybe another book pops up with “a few years later this happened”. I love this authors writing and cannot wait to read more. Greatly done. I recommend.
This series has interesting characters, fabulous worldbuilding, and a mystery threaded through an intriguing plot. I enjoyed the UK, yet not, setting with humans existing alongside paranormals, including hellhounds, clairvoyants, other shifters, and hellspawn.
The magical driven technology is great, and very inventive. I liked the addition of alchemy in the mix.
I was very happy that Draven doesn’t have to choose between Micah and Lyle, and loved the slow burn romance. The quirky details like hellhounds smelling fear as their favourite food, e.g. apricot jam, and Lyle’s ability being quirky at best help bring the characters and their world to life.
The plot kept me guessing as to the motivation of the characters, and I loved the twists along the way. As with all this author’s series, once you start reading you’ll want to keep going.
I originally read this series as each book was published, so it’s great having them in a box set so readers don’t have to wait for each book’s cliffhanger to be resolved.
I love being able to read all the stories in this series in one place. Richard Amos does an amazing job of character development and world building. I enjoyed each book and hated to see the series end. It was an amazing series. I feel you will enjoy it also. I look forward to what Richard Amos writes next as he is one of my favorite authors.
I had the priviledge of reading this complete series and was engaged in every book penned by Mr. Amos. From Book #1 through the end of Book #4 each one satisfied my reading imagination.
