I received an ARC from the author for a fair and honest review.

I didn't like this second book as much as the first. We didn't learn anything that would give us a clue for what is going on. I have so many questions.

But Dylan was really an arse in this book!!!! Based on this book alone, I don't like him.

Where do I even start?! The first book left me wanting more, but not the way this one did. I am anxiously waiting for the 3rd copy to come out... Jess and Dylan.... what is going on?!! What kind of secrets can Dylan be hiding? In this one, we see 2 sides to Dylan, one being cold, hard, and demanding, where as the other side is sweet, caring, and the "perfect" gentleman..... Kudos to Knight for keeping me as a reader enthralled up until the end... If I go into detail about this story, I will reveal everything and I do not want to ruin the reading experience for you! I will however say that this is a series so far that is worth reading (and I do not say that a lot about "romance" novels). Amazing job... KEEP IT UP!!

I really don't get why people write scenes in books where virgins have sex for the first time and not only does the pain of it magically go away but they always manage to orgasm as well... I think all that shit does is set up the younger audience that may stumble upon your book and based off of it and others they have read and the movies and every other lie that is out there when it's time to get to it they are going to be extremely surprised and want to punch you all in the face!!!!

Also, these books are super short. There really is no need to recap so much. I just read it and even if I hadn't it's not that much to remember. On to the next one...

Holy cliffhangers, JJ Knight has done it again! I am officially in love with Jess and Dylan, and I can't wait to get the rest of their story. All I can say for now is, "Is it March 7th yet because I REALLY need Volume 3 now!"

Volume 2 is well written and leaves you finishing the book before you realize what's happened. Then it leaves you wanting more. The story picks up right where Volume 1 left off, and leaves no room for questions as to what's happened in Jess and Dylan's story so far. This series has quickly become a favorite for me in 2014.

Revenge Volume 2 beings right after Jess gets in Dylan's car after he walked out of his meeting with Morris Music. Dylan ends up taking them to his place, which is an old firehall converted into a short term rental. Things start to get heated between these two when Jess reveals to Dylan that she's a virgin. Although Dylan doesn't believe her things continue until Dylan says something that ends up causing Jess to get up and leave his apartment. Outside she hears someone approaching and discovers it's Nick from Morris Music. He puts her in his van and there she discovers there are cameras on the bottom floor of Dylan's place, and Nick is the owner of the property Dylan is renting. After lunch and an evasive conversation from Nick regarding the cameras, he drops Jess off at home and tells her he'll see her in the archives in the morning at Morris Music.

After spending the rest of the week in the basement archives, Nick hints to Jess Friday that something is going to happen that night. After falling asleep that night, Jess wakes to the sound of someone outside her bedroom window. Discovering it's Dylan she finally lets him in after he serenades her outside and climbs a ladder to her bedroom window. He takes her to a gig with him where he has two other girls sit with her so she's not alone. While dancing to Dylan playing Jess and the other girls black out, and Jess wakes to find herself in Dylan's bed with the other two girls from the night before. After breakfast, Dylan sends Jess in his car to drop the girls off and return at 8 that night because he has some business to attend to. After dropping the girls off, Jess goes home to discover Nick pulling up to her house as well.

She has a conversation with Nick regarding what the VP at Morris Music expects of her with Dylan. When she notices he's blocking his phone from her view, she grabs it and runs into the bathroom. Jess realizes he's been looking at live video feed from Dylan's apartment, and she discovers his meeting is with two people from the day she was mugged while Dylan was busking. With a knock on the door Nick asks for his phone back. Jess gives it to him and tells him he should go. Of course Nick stays and more or less tells her that Maggie, the VP at Morris Music, would destroy her if she tries to leave, so her options are to either jump on board and sleep with Dylan and get him to a meeting at Morris Music next week or have no career in the music industry because Maggie would destroy her.

Jess leaves at 8pm to go return Dylan's car. Once there they end up getting heated downstairs when Dylan gives Jess and option, she can leave now and he'll never speak to her again or she can stay and she can stay and take all of him. She tells him she doesn't want to leave and they go back to making out downstairs. Dylan tells Jess she can go and he'll still play nice with her boss because he knows they just want her to get close to him. He knows she's playing him and he still wants her. She tells him she's not playing him then tells him to take her upstairs. After everything happens, Dylan pulls away and tells Jess there's something she should know. It's about Susan......

A great read!! Ms Knight has grabbed hold of this story and really run w/it. I had a really hard time putting it down to get some sleep. She has done a wonderful job of building the rapport between the hero & the heroine. You can feel the frustration, & the confusion Jesse experiences as she tries to figure out the enigma that is Dylan Wolf. One minute they are laughing or seriously close to taking that step that leads them behind closed doors, & the next they are bantering back & forth as to whether Jesse is indeed the innocent in all this. The mystery surrounding Dylan grows, & has you seriously trying to figure him out. Is he playing a game, or does he seriously feel something for Jesse? The story is coming together very nicely. And Ms Knight sure does know how to leave you hanging on the edge of your seat wanting the next book in the series before you finish this one. Definitely a two thumbs up & a must read for those who like their books a "little" steamy!!!

Oh my giddy aunt! How can it end like that?! Noooooooooooo!!!! Seriously, don't make me wait, I'm on the edge of my seat here!!!
Ok, so this picks up right where Revenge #1 ends, no hanging about but straight in there. I like this! In fact, I love this. I love how each of the characters are hiding something, I love how much its making me want to turn detective and figure it all out. Nick has me intrigued as well as Dylan & Jess. What on earth is going on? I have so many different scenarios running around in my mind right now! And the ending....bugger me that is some cliffhanger! I did not see that coming at all and I feel a little bit topsy turvy at having to wait to get answers. I am so hooked in this series!

Still slow but picking up speed. More items are being revealed and more secrets are coming out but with that more questions are arising. Dylan runs so hot and cold it's driving me nuts. He knows but he's still clueless. Jess is just so naive. I mean I know there is being innocent but sometimes I wish she'd put the puzzle pieces together. There are things happening that are huge red flags that she is just not seeing. What's up with Riley I hope that story gets revealed. Ok here we go part 3 :)

J.J. Knight has one-up'd herself in this second installment of her Revenge series.

After the first book, I was so taken by the two main characters. Both Dylan and Jess are intriguing in their own ways and I couldn't wait to find out more. Especially from the mysterious Dylan.
"My boss sent me to follow Dylan out of the building, and get close to him. I figured I'd give it a shot, since he's so cute. Big mistake. He might be cute, but he's already lied to me at least once. Those majestic brown eyes of his looked right into me, stole my heart, and lied to me."

We get some answers from Dylan, like more info about the mugging, but there are still plenty of unknown facts that will leave you salivating for more. He has some skeletons in his closet and a big secret is revealed at the end that left me shocked. I literally finished the book with my mouth hanging open and it stayed that way for a minute or two.
Ladies and gentleman, this is what I call a cliffhanger!

This book showed us a bit more of Dylan. He's a man of many faces. We've seen his seductive, sweet and even gentleman-like ways. However in this book, we get to see a side that's more rough, harsh and maybe even a bit scary. Despite his rude and disturbing behavior, I still like him. I feel like there's a deeper reasoning for his actions so I'm not righting him off just yet.

Aside from that, more secrets build and like Jess, I'm eager to find the answers.

Another character that may have secrets of his own is Nick, Jess' co-worker. Without giving anything away I'll simply say he's closer to Jess and Dylan than they know. I do not trust him! Even though I believe he cares for Jess and is looking out for her, he has a creepy factor that has me suspicious of him and that sketchy company he works for.

What I like about Knight's writing is that she manages to deepen every character's story. Jess and Dylan are obviously the focal points in this series, but we also get a lot of info on the supporting characters like Nick and Jess' roommates. I say roommates as in plural, because the mysterious roommate we still haven't been introduced to is having me wonder what her story is all about. I'm considering the fact that perhaps she might play a bigger part in this entire story.
Her other roommate Amanda also gives away a bit of her past that possibly has to do with why she acts the way she does.

If you're wondering about the level of hotness in this book, well let me tell you! It is even steamier than the first! I'm talking "where's a fan and a glass of water" kind of hot!
"I won't tell you to relax, because you won't. So, I'm giving you permission to do whatever you need to do. You can scream, or you can cry, or you can bite me if you want. But whatever you dish out, just know that I'll give it back to you double."

Knight continues to draw me in with the slowly building character development, the secrets, and startling revelations. I'm a huge fan of cliffhangers and Knight keeps dishing them out perfectly! I can't wait until the next book!
No, really… I'm having an anxiety attack until I can get my hands on it.

Yahoo ! I was lucky to receive an arc copy of Revenge Vol. 2. After reading the outstanding first book in this series by new author JJ Knight, I was chopping at the bits to get my hands on the next installment. When I received Revenge Vol. 2 I had to put aside the book I was reading and get into this book. I am so happy with the choice. Revenge Vol. 2 immediately had me involved, devouring each word, each characters role in this drama, and swooning at the love scenes. Talk about red hot chemistry and sizzling sex scenes. Woowee, my blood pressure shot through the roof. I was reeled in, hook, line, and sinker. Far more addicted than most junkies. Dying for my next fix, Revenge Vol. 3.

What is the first thing I would say about this new series? BUY IT! It is worth every penny, every moment invested, and every thought thereafter. The very first sentence has your heart racing. The very last sentence makes your heart drop to your feet.

We met Dylan Wolf, the mysterious singer in the first book. He is hot, mysterious, talented, and has a lot of bad boy tendencies. He is more than a random busker. The record company wants to sign him. They will pull out all stops, offer a young woman up on a silver platter, and spy on him around the clock. Dylan Wolf has his own agenda. He is determined to control his music career. He has deep buried secrets. High up on his lists of things to do is Jess. The young woman he met on the street. The very woman the record company is offering up on a silver platter.

Jess is a naïve girl. On one hand ,she wants to turn her back on the record company she works for. On the other hand, she is desperate to keep her job. She doesn’t want to leave L.A. with her tail tucked between her legs. She also wants Dylan Wolf. Can she keep her job, get Dylan, and keep her integrity. Is Dylan someone she wants to lose her innocence to. One thing is for sure, she may be naïve, but she is far from stupid.

As their relationship progresses, new players will come into the picture. The extremities the record company will go to will shock her. Dylan’s actions will cause her to question his sincerity towards her. It will become apparent he has an agenda. That agenda may destroy everything she thought she knew. It looks as if she is the pawn in the game between Dylan and the record company.

Just as she takes the risk to open up to Dylan and give him her heart. He drops a bomb on her feelings……

This book is not predictable. One moment it is downright charming to watch Dylan pursue Jess. He will steal your heart. The next moment he is a complete asshole. You want to throttle the man.

The other players such as the Gothic co worker/ friend will make the story more intriguing. Who is the mystery roommate? Who’s side is Nick on? Who are the hoody people? What role do all these people play in the overall picture?

I guess we will have to get our hot little hands on Revenge Vol. 3 to get some answers. I have a feeling we are in for a bumpy ride that is going to surprise the life out of us when all is written and finalized. I am so hooked!

JJ Knight is proving that she is an author that demands to be recognized along with all our favorite authors. Her storytelling is superb!

Revenge Volume 3 will be out March 7, 2014.

~Arc Review~

Okay let me just say that if your interested in reading this book, you need to read the first since this book is in five parts. All the books leading to the final will end in cliffhangers, which I'll prove by the end.

So Revenge starts right where it ends in the first part, which left me wanting more. It all went well together. Jess and Dylan are just perfect. I love it when she gets mad at him. So in the ending of the first Dylan is taking Jess somewhere. That place we don't know until this part, which is the building he lives in. So they get to talking and Dylan tells Jess something...

"Now, are you ready to pay the admission price for coming in here?"
"That depends on the price." You got to Love the flirting:)
"You have to close your eyes, put your hands on top of your head, and let me do anything I want to you for five minutes." Great huh...Amazing!!!!!

They start negotiating about time. Really I would have savored those whole five minutes. Hey, but that's just me. Steamy stuff happens between them. One that left me laughing for a very long time. Here it is...

"Roll over and get on your knees," he says. "Let's get this done. Let's make you my little whore." Now that I see it. I have no idea why I found this funny. Its a little insulting, but I don't know maybe it was the way I pictured Dylan saying this in my head. My head functions really weird. Crazy right.

Of course Jess didn't like what he said and now I see why. So she left him there wanting her. Many things happen in between that I really do not want to spoil. Let me just say some of them being very cute!!!!:) Okay here it comes the part I have a love n hate relationship with. So Jess loses her V- card to Dylan, which is major. Hello it was her first time. Obviously she waited for the right guy, who happened to be Dylan. So they do it and everything went okay I guess that's how I felt it went by reading because I was totally in the zone and I felt like I was Jess. At this point Dylan is acting weird and not himself.

"Jess, there's something you should know." His voice has a hollowness that chills me to the bone. I sit up with a jolt and pull the covers up against my chest.
"What?" My heart is pounding.
"It's about Susan," he says. "My wife."

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!!!!!!!!! WHAT!!!!!! WHEN THE HELL DID HE GET HITCHED!!!!! WHAT!!! SUSAN HIS WIFE!!!! GRRRR!!! I was so mad at this part. This completely proves why I hate cliffhangers. I was a mess, but I still love this book. I really, really can't wait to read the rest of Revenge. I felt really fortunate when I got the arc for this. I was so excited. Hopefully I'll get the rest. I highly recommend this to everyone. JJ Knight needs all the support she can get. Can't wait to read what she comes out with next!!!!!:)

Revenge #2

Here I was, doing some homework research when I received my ARC for the second installment of Revenge by J.J. Knight. I decided to take a peak and a couple of hours later; here I am sharing my thoughts about Jess and Dylan.

Revenge #2 starts exactly where we last saw ours central characters. Jess is in to a wild, joy ride with Dylan which leads them to Dylan's place. The attraction between these 2 is undeniable, but we met a more aggressive, hard Dylan which excites and confuses Jess. She runs away from him; Jess is still very much a new transplant to a bigger city and everything seems so different to her home. The book provide more details into Jess past, her family and friends and her slow transition from small town girl to intern to the new minted Eye Candy for Morris Music. We also see more of Nathan, who at first seems like a good mentor to Jess but proves to be more than that. Our heroine constantly battles her attraction to Dylan and her desire to be more than "Eye Candy" at work or the "uncool" girl at a party. Soon we are at the end of the week, and Jess still is overwhelmed by her emotions and work. Enter Amanda, Jess roommate, to the rescue. She provides that city girl voice which helps to mold and put in perspective things to Jess. I can't wait to see more of her and of the still missing roomie Riley. After well-intentioned Amanda left for the night, Jess is serenaded by Dylan who persuaded her to go out with him to a concert. This is the turning point and from here, events occurs fast, enter more characters who might or might not be part of the original encounter between Jess and Dylan, more secrets are reveled and without giving any spoiler away you have to ask yourself who is going to be the one exacting Revenge?

I sincerely enjoyed this book; once I started I have to finish. I will give it 4.5 stars only because it is not a stand-alone book. Boom! You enter to an emotionally charged, fun scene and Boom! It ends with a bang. J.J Knight created real characters that you can relate and even cross path in the real world. The buildup is just right, and it is killing me that I have to wait for the next one!

After the excitement of book one I was expecting book 2 to be just as exciting or even better. Well it lived up to my expectations and more.

Revenge 2 picks up where book one left off. Dylan had kidnapped Jess and took her to his place of residence. It was during this time that I saw a side to Dylan I did not like. His behavior was quite aggressive and animalistic. This caused Jess to be confused which is further complicated by the fact that she is attracted to him and was not quite sure how to react.

Jess is a naïve virgin who has been called upon by the recording company she works for to seduce Dylan to get him to sign a music contract with them. Dylan is quite aware of this as such it is quite hard to figure out if he genuinely feels anything for Jess or is he planning to turn the tables on the recording company with Jess being the pawn in this entire charade. This is further compounded by his hot and cold behavior towards Jess.
Then there is the issue of Nick who also works with the company. It is not clear as to what is motives are. In one instance it appears he may be looking out for Jess then the next we see him spying on her and Dylan. What is even stranger is that he has access to where Dylan lives. This has started me thinking that maybe these two are working together somehow.

Revenge 2 is riddled with secrets just like its predecessor. There are so many unanswered questions as it relates to the roles that each of the characters play in the overall scheme of things.

This time I was quite prepared for the cliffhanger ending but what I was not prepared for was the shocking revelation that Dylan made to Jess. I was like, ‘why did it have too end there’? Now I am going to have to wait patiently for book 3.

This is a great series that will have readers turning the pages and hankering for more. The story flowed and it was very easy to follow. The characters were realistic and easy to relate to. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for book 3 which thank goodness will not be a long wait.

I received this book as a ARC for a Honest review. So get ready for a rollercoaster ride.

First let me say if u haven't read volume one of Revenge, then stop right now and go GRAB UR COPY. U won't regret it.
This is a continuous of Revenge 1 and also leaves u hanging with a cliffhanger.

This book had me giggling like a teenager and had me at the edge of a off waiting to fall. There is this love hate relationship between Dylan and Jess. One minute Jess wants to kiss Dylan, the next she wants to get far away from the A*shole. Will the things they do destroy them or bring them closer together. There was time ( if I could) I would of slapped one or both of them up side the head.

Oh My, What has Jess gotten herself into? The second installment in the series begins right where the first installment left off. Dylan is speeding through LA and Jess is seriously questioning what she has gotten herself into.
At times I was extremely pissed off at Dylan for acting like a complete ass! Then there are other times that make you think, does Dylan have split personality. During the car ride there is something that Dylan says to Jess that just made me fall in love with him.
They are driving and Jess is speaking of her friends back home and this is how Dylan responds with his thoughts on strangers, friends, wants and dreams.
“Strangers never get as jealous as friends. They wish they had your dreams. Most people look at another person’s life, and they say they want their money. But what they really want is their dreams. They want the one thing money can’t buy. Dreams are what gets you out of bed in the morning, and keep you alive.” Dylan has so many layers and I think Jess has only seen the beginning. Dylan appears to be every girls dream musician, but I think the author is going to take us places with Dylan and Jess that we can’t even see coming.
Nick comes back into the picture and appears that he could become one of Jess’s best allies, but in LA you never know who you can trust. There isn't much more about the exact company that Jess works for and what they are going to expect from her. But you get a taste and it definitely leaves you guessing.
J.J. Knight has a hit with this series. When I got to the end of book 2, I just wanted to scream, because I knew it meant I am going have to wait and count the days until book 3 is released.

The second volume of Revenge brings a lot of suspense. Dylan is definitely up to something, and possibly using Jessica. We discover him having meetings with people that he claims he doesn't know. But, he's not the only one keeping secrets. Jessica is hiding the fact that her job is to get close to him in order to get information on the mysterious woman, Susan, in his life. She also knows that he's being videoed in his own house. She is still very naive in a way, to keep going along with her job and not anticipate some harsh consequences. Not to mention Dylan showing up exactly when her boss hinted that he would. That would make me very suspicious, but she doesn't seem to give it a second thought.

Later, we Start to relax when Dylan admits that he knows her job is to get close to him and he wants her anyway. It looks like she might actually get away with the secrets she's been keeping, but then he drops an unexpected bomb that the mysterious Susan is his wife.

Still lots of possibilities for the remainder of the story. I'm wondering if Dylan has faked their entire relationship just so he can get one over on the recording company, that even though he said he was okay with her "job", he was secretly upset and his revenge was to take her virginity and then throw it in her face that he's married. Then, of course, she'll have to turn around and get back at him somehow. It would certainly fit with the title, Revenge. For now, I'm anxiously waiting to see what Jessica's response is to Dylan being married, and finding out why he chose that moment to inform her of his marital status.

Revenge #2 literally picks up right where the first book left off, with Jessica Rivera sitting shotgun in Dylan Wolf's black sports car. We find out almost immediately that Dylan is a fast, lead-foot driver that I don't think I'd care to drive with ever. Where the first book took place primarily in the Morris Music setting and getting backgrounds set up, this book focuses mainly on Jessica and Dylan's increasing attraction towards each other. This book is the perfect book to read on a very cold winter's night, because there is enough steam between Jessica and Dylan to keep you nice and toasty warm.
It was very hard to put this book down because it's very action-packed and loaded with mystery. That was what actually drew me into this series, the mystery behind the characters and the fact that I can't for the life of me figure out who the real Dylan Wolf is and what Morris Music is really all about. Mysteries like this absolutely leave me coming back and begging for more.
Dylan is extremely cryptic and you can't always figure him out, but he absolutely grows on you as a character because even though the man has the body of a greek god, he certainly doesn't act like it. And though Jess is extremely naïve and innocent, she has a personality that I think many people will be able to relate to.
JJ Knight has absolutely written one of the best books that I have ever had the pleasure to read. The books leave you wanting to know what happens next. Take my advice, do yourself a favor, and check out this series. I promise that you'll thank me later.

REVENGE Volume #2 by JJ Knight
We pick up where we left off in Volume #1 where Jess and Dylan have left from Morris Music where she is intern/eye candy and the company is trying to get Dylan Wolf to sign on. They go for a crazy ride in his car to his place, a refurbished modernized firehouse. They start with a light make out session until he becomes crass with her and she leaves feeling shattered. But her co-worker Nick is there and admits he owns the building and leases it and has it wired. (Yes, that is sleazy!)
On Friday Dylan shows up at her house and serenades her at 1 in the morning. He takes her to a club where he sings. Places her with 2 twins at a table to watch the show, where they are drinking. She wakes up at his house, but with 2 girls there also. He has Jess take them home in his car and come back at 8 that night. He gives her several chances to leave, even telling her that he will be signing with Morris Music even if they don't have sex. But she stays. But the end, OMG, again here we are left hanging.
Is Volume #3 ready yet! JJ Knight has a way of spinning the tale, making it a page turning story and then leaving us hanging by a thread and screaming, NO, Please don't let it end yet! Total Cliff Hanger! Bravo! If they had a score higher than 5, it would qualify.

Dylan has been a jerk Jesse in this book. I like the first one much more and this one left me more confused on what is truly going on. I get Jesse is young and naïve and I feel bad for especially right after they have sex for the first time. He was cold and distant and my heart just went out to her. Then other times I wanted to shake her because she would find out secrets or news about Dylan and instead of addressing them or thinking them through she runs back to him like nothing was known. I get that because she gave the "V" up her mental state is a little shadowed but still.

My gut is telling me right now that someone is after Dylan and he is in under some sort of protection that even Dylan himself doesn't realize he is under. Then Nick is some FBI agent or along those lines, and is trying to find out additional info from Dylan by spying and watching over him as Dylan said himself he was not supposed to mention his past to anyone. There is still the question of where Dylan is getting all this money, his spacing out and something is fishy about his dead wife. Do I think Dylan knows anything, not really, but I do believe there is more to the story. All in all this is definitely a mystery that has been difficult to guess. Curious how the author will tie things up with only 3 books to go and the next one is only 90pgs.

Thanks to the author, I was allowed to read an ARC of this book for an honest review. This book is a continuation of Book #1 and picks up right where #1 left off. This too is a cliffhanger...even more of one than the first book. Just wanted to throw that out there for those cliffhanger haters. I so cannot wait for Book #3 and won't have to wait too long as each book is coming out very quickly after the last one. If you just can't handle cliffhangers, you may want to wait just a few weeks and get all five parts at one time.

In this book, you see Jess and Dylan grow closer. Jess still struggles with her job but continues to work. Dylan is still a mystery to her but she is drawn to him more than ever. As the two spend more time together, the closer they become and the bigger the mystery around them become. This leads right up to the cliffhanger at the end that leaves you with your jaw dropped.

Book #3 cannot come out soon enough! Just a few more days and we will have more Dylan and hopefully more of his story and what makes him the guy he is. This is a great story! Great series and I cannot wait for the next one! J.J. Knight knocks it out of the park! Five Stars on this one.

Ok, where to start is the question. I received an ARC of Revenge 2 and it was an amazing book. It started right where it stopped on the first book. So,he takes her to his place and I thought for sure that she was going to sleep with him. Jess obviously really like Dylan and I am interested in where their relationship is headed. I am nervous about her job and Morris Music and what Nick is really doing watching Dylan from the vehicle. I don't want Jess to get hurt or Dylan. The way Dylan was with Jess after the bar was super sweet and taking care if her and the two other girls. He seems to genuinely like her and their first time seemed sweet and he took care of her. Let me just say the cliff hanger at the end of the book....."'My wife." I thought I was gonna die and I can't wait for the third book and the next books after to see how thing progress. JJ Knight amazing second book and keep them coming. :-)JJ KnightRevenge 2

Book #2 picks up with Jess being asked by Morris Records to become "eye candy" for Dylan in order to reel him in and get him to sign a contract. Dylan storms out of a meeting at Morris Records and Jess follows him out. Dylan takes Jess back to his place and they both can feel the chemistry. Things go a little to far for Jess back at Dylan's "firehouse" and she storms out and stumbles into her co-worker Nick on her way out. Nick offers Jess a ride home and Jess finds out that the "firehouse" belongs to Nick and the first floor has cameras - she's taken aback knowing that Nick just saw what transpired between her and Dylan. Jess returns to work at Morris Records and is back working in the Archives until she can prove to them that she can be the "eye candy" they need to get Dylan to sign. Dylan serenades Jess, they end up together the next day, and she ends up losing her virginity to Dylan then he shocks her with his "secret".

What a Cliffhanger, can't wait for book #3 to come out! Thankful the release dates are so close together, as I can't wait to find out what happens next with Jess and Dylan!

Revenge Volume 2 continues the story of Dylan and Jess who met in LA when Jess moved from the country for an internship at a music company and Dylan was trying to start a music career by singing and playing guitar on the street. Jess doesn't realize that she has been hired by the music company to seduce Dylan and get him to sign a contact with them. Jess is an innocent virgin and has no idea what is expected of her. Dylan knows what the company expects of Jess so he treats her cheaply. He knows he should walk away from Jess but he is attracted to her so decides to go for 'it'. As Jess says, he acts like an 'asshole'. I found that I really didn't like him at that point - but I guess I wasn't suppose to like him.

The characters were well developed. I really felt bad for Jess when Dylan was acting poorly toward her. But I did think that even though Jess was inexperienced, she seemed particularly dumb at times.

I love this series and can't wait to read Volume 3.

I won an ARC of Revenge Volume 2 in exchange for an honest review.

Oh man, Dylan puts Christian Grey to shame. He's way hotter and more mysterious. Even way sexier. Jess is doesn't have split personality like Anastasia. I like Jess. She's not a klutz that's always tripping over her own feet. Jess is innocent, naive to a point but she's smart and she determines if she wants to give herself to Dylan or not.

This installment picks up right the first one left off. The mystery around Dylan grows more and more. I'm even intrigued to figure out what happen to Jessica's roommate. Her roommate got a bit misty eyed when they were talking about men. Which says she has a story of her own to tell.

I want me a Dylan even if he can be a jerk at times. Jess gets some answers in this but there are even more questions that pop up.

This was even better the first. I know it's just going to get better as the next parts come out. If you haven't gotten the first one, I suggest you run and get. If you liked Fifty Shades of Grey you'll love this one. If you didn't like Fifty Shades you'll love this. I highly recommend it.

J.J. Knight does it again! Why oh why does it have to end where it does? Oh yeah, that’s right, there are FIVE parts and this is just part two.
I want to love Dylan so much, but at the same time, I absolutely hate him. He swings so much in this installment, I was left with whiplash. Just when I love him for being so incredibly sweet and caring, it’s like he becomes a completely different person. I kept wondering why he was so secretive and at the last second, we find out part of the reason why. Somehow, I feel that there is more to what is going on in his head though…….
Jess, oh Jess, what have you done? I could completely relate to her, her insecurities, her innocence, her wanting and most of all her feelings for Dylan. So, I was left with a feeling of “Really?” How could she possibly do what she did? What did she do? You’ll just have to read it to find out, but wow, it’s a big one.
And what is up with Nick? Who is he really? So many questions asked in this installment, that I just can’t wait for the next one.

I received this as an ARC for an honest review......

This series is awesome, that leaves you hanging on to the edge of your seats. This review may contain a few spoilers. Part two starts just as part one ended with Jess getting in the car with Dylan and the action takes off from there. There is a lot of WTF moments with Dylan, Jess, Nick and also Amanda that leaves questions unanswered and leaves you wondering who is playing who and asking yourself who can Jess trust. Jess can be annoying at times since she knows right from wrong but she keeps letting everyone push her around. You just want to yell at her to get her priorities straight and do what it is right!! The ending had me wanting to scream at the author because the story ends just as you finally learn who Susan is. I can't wait for the next part which is due out next week!! I feel like I can't wait that long. This is a great start for a first time author and I can't wait to see what she has in store for her readers!!

Slow and steady wins the race. I was fortunate enough to receive and ARC for Vol. 2 of this book. In a literary world of get to the sex as fast as you can, this book isn't that. This book is a slow, simmering trek through a very thought provoking minefield. I think I found the key when I began to pay closer attention to what wasn't said or done than what was going on on the pages. So many things to ponder. The coincidence of Dylan renting out Nathan's space, the still unseen but often mentioned missing roommate, who Is really the mouse in this game of cat and mouse? Without giving any spoilers I will say I screamed in my head NOOOOOOO when a financial arrangement took place but I guess that bump will be addresses further down the road. I am waiting for all to unfold and isn't that why we read in the first place? To immerse ourselves, forget our stresses for a while, to silence distractions? This book did all of that for me and I can't wait until Volume 3 is released.

***** I received an ARC from the author for and honest review *****

I just finish reading this book, and let me just say I want more, cant wait for the third book to come out, I love the characters I am gone keep this short and sweet cause I don't want to give anything away.

This book picks up right where Revenge #1 ends, Dylan is driving fast through LA and Jess is seriously wondering what she has gotten herself into. In this one, we see 2 sides to Dylan, one being cold, hard, and demanding, where as the other side is sweet, caring, and the perfect gentleman, in this book doesn't really give you the answers any of the questions in the first book and gives you a few more that need answers, but that's the best part of the series its just want to make you to keep on reading. and I cant wait to read the next book in the series.

Once again J.J. Knight THANK YOU for this awesome book and this amazing characters love it.
