Don't Get Mad, Get Justice—and the Love of a Strong Woman
The old adage “don’t get mad, just get even” becomes the mantra of three college buddies whose nascent insight and technological brilliance was stolen, crushing their dreams and robbing them of the riches of their ingenuity. In the emerging world of the internet, powered by individual access in a largely unregulated technological wild west, individual innovation was rewarded, especially flourishing in the incubator of college dorms. The three innovative internet wizards’ genius took root and blossomed, but was stolen from the naïve young college students.
And while trust and skill were imbedded in the friendship of the three innocent, creative friends, their trust and integrity collided with the corruption and greed of an older, more experienced man—a shyster—who stole their creation, manipulating the young college students’ into apparently legal—but in fact, deceptive theft which would eventually allow their older, wiser, but slyer mentor, to steal their creative genius.
And, far from working-in his-clients’-best-interest, their trusted guide into the world of incorporation and finance, Zack Villefort, cleverly included in the dense textual legalese of their contract of incorporation, a poison pill—a legal pathway that the trusting novices in the world of high-stakes deals, would never anticipate to have been crafted and executed by their trusted lawyer, guide and friend, against them. That small, undetectable trap that their trusted but Machiavellian lawyer inserted in the text of the contract provided the sly schemer a pathway to legally steal from the young, unsuspecting innovators creation, the product of their youthful, but creative genius.
Now, some 3years later, the 3 college buddies—Grayson Blackstone, Nick Maywood, and Jaxson Bancroft—have survived the betrayal of a man whom they had foolishly trusted with their creativity. They have each learned from their mistake of trust and innocence at a great cost. They lost their creation—Quick Reels— an internet platform that, since it was stolen from the young creators, had become “the well-loved time-waster where everyday people and influencers could upload short videos, and each person’s feed would be curated by what they watch. So, if a user liked cat videos, it showed the viewer cat videos—one right after another until something else caught the viewer’s eye.”
But, the most unforgivable part of the betrayal was how it was executed. Unfortunately for the trusting innovators—the creative minds who wrote the novel and potentially valuable algorithm—were forced out of Quick Reels just months before it went public. And, as a result, all of their creativity was taken away from them by Zack Villefort, the duplicitous lawyer, whose guidance the young creators had trusted. They had trusted his experience to guide them as they moved into an unknown world of business and legal agreements which was beyond their creative genius, but not outside of Villefort’s greed.
And 3 years later, while needing time to heal, the 3 friends have individually moved forward creatively and personally. Jaxson Bancroft, Grayson Blackstone, Nick Mayfield has each learned to trust and have been able to heal emotionally and creatively, and eventually, have been able to rejuvenate their inventive creativity—and each has found love on their journey.
From the initial innocence of college to the mature and well-schooled in the classroom of life, Jaxson Bancroft, Grayson Blackstone, and Nick Mayfield have continued to be tech innovators, found love and happiness with strong, supportive women, and have been able to seek justice for the wrongs unfairly stealing their technical creation and their young, hopeful innocence.
Once more Ainsley St. Claire's creative imagination has cleverly connected with the dreams of the mind and the needs of the heart to tell the tale of 3 friends, tricked and defrauded in life, but with the help of friendship and the support of strong women who love them, triumph over the forces that would seek to rob them of their gifted genius.

I am so glad that I read this book on a Sunday, I found myself totally immersed in the story right from the beginning, which made it difficult to take a break until I finished reading the book. I am addicted to Ainsley St Claire book, because it makes the reader feel like they are on a journey with exiting characters from previous books, with new characters just blending into their lives like they were always meant to be there. This story had everything you would expect was written by a truly talented author.
Indebted (Paper Billionaires Book 2)
Uncovering Their Truths This was an absolutely fantastic story, that me so engrossed I actually missed Sunday Mass (Catholic guilt). Each page turn had me itching to find out if Jaxson and Harper were going to get their act together and realise what everyone around them could see, which was how good they were together professionally and personally. Their relationship may have started out as pretend, but their chemistry was off the charts.
I was really rooting for them from the beginning to not only resolve the problems surrounding the business, but also find a way to acknowledge their feelings for each other and work towards getting their happily ever after. The part of the story that really got to me was the way they were each so close to their families, especially the love they had for Harmony.
I can say without a shadow of doubt, that Ainsley St Claire did a great job writing this amazing story, with interesting romantic moments, steamy encounters, close friendships, family loyalty and the mystery surrounding corporate espionage, that had me glued to the pages from the beginning. I urge you to grab a copy of this book, switch off your phone and lock your doors, because once you start reading this book, there is no chance you will want to take a break until you finish reading it.
Vanquished (Paper Billionaires Book 3)
Two Heads Are Better Than One This is another amazing story from a truly talented author, that took me on an adventure with the main characters, as they navigate through betrayals, insecurities, troublesome exes and harassment, with the support of their close friends. I felt like I was riding a rollercoaster with the myriad of emotions I went through, but it was all worth it when i finished reading it. The storyline still had me hooked from the first page and I kept eagerly turning the pages wanting to know how the story ended.
Believe me when I say the descriptions of the intimate moments will have you squirming in your seat and leave you feeling like you need a cigarette or needing a cold shower. The story is filled with romance, sizzling steamy encounters and plenty of drama twists. If you are looking for a book with more depth to the story than just evolving around two lovers, then this the book for you. Grab a copy of this book now and you won’t be disappointed.

This is a boxset of 3 interconnected novels by a new-to-me author. I picked up that series because the blurb promised me a Count of Monte Cristo retelling, and The Count of Monte Cristo is just my favorite book of all times. I had been a bit disappointed at first because these stories has very little to do with my beloved Count, but it didn't last long because I enjoyed them very much for themselves. The writing is very good, the characters are well developed and there is a lot of background, especially finance details that gives life to the revenge part of the arc narrative.
My favorite story was Indebted, I love a fake relationship between boss and assistant and the connection between Jaxson and Harper was just chef kiss.
I enjoyed that boxset so much that I downloaded another one from the author.
Although the three romances can be read as standalones, they are definitely best read in order and where better than this boxset to binge read all three of these excellent romances which feature three friends working together who have previously been betrayed by a competitor and are seeking justice. Each of the romances are different and the characters are all well written and certainly warrant a HEA. The author creates a well crafted world in which the series is set and even if you don’t fully understand the machinations in the business background, the stories and their outcomes are well worth the read.

I’ve only read the first book in this set so far and I have loved it. The story was an intriguing page turner with unexpected twists and characters that kept off the page. I am eager to read the rest of these books to see how it all ends.

PAPER BILLIONAIRES BOXSET BY AINSLEY ST CLAIRE. This is a interconnecting box set that follow three friends who have been betrayed. The set out for revenge but found more along the way. Enjoyed this box set and I hope to read more from this author.
This is a really good set of stories, full of heart and emotion. Each story can be read as a stand alone but there is a good overarching thread that ties them all together.
This author was new to me and I enjoyed each book. The three books flow together nicely the that you wanted to know what was going to happen to the next billionaire.
The writing is atrocious. Couldn’t get halfway into chapter 1. Obviously, I am reading something different to everyone else, according to all the five and four star ratings. Simply not for me.
I love everything Ainsley writes but this series is now one of my all time favorites. Gray, Jax and Nick have been friends for a long time and after being fired from their own company they form a plan for revenge. Each book follows them while as their plan unfolds. This is one of those series that each book could be read as a standalone but should be read in order to understand it better. I loved watching everything unfold and the ending was just PERFECT!! I can’t wait to see what Ainsley does next. 🖤🔥📱🔥🖤
