I’ve been waiting for Minka’s story
And it did not disappoint! I remember reading a sneak peek and gasping - no she didn’t! So scandalous!
But after reading this story and how the record scratching kiss actually happened, then I was relieved but also heartbroken by the aftermath.
Minka needed to learn herself, see herself, accept herself and most importantly love herself. She was all twisted in the head by her perception of things, situations and especially people. She really needed to open her eyes to the reality of what is. She had a battlefield in her mind and her heart that she needed to reconcile.
Jason was the sex on a stick, rich, playboy heartbreaker and he buried his true feelings under this mask. Mommy and daddy issues along with sheer stubbornness and strong will shaped him into the man he is.
Oh but love unexpected will have you in chokehold and doing, feeling and thinking things that you never thought you would. The scales tipped in the favor of love and there was no way for them to even it out.
