Welp. That got darker fast. I didn’t think it could get darker and more convoluted than the first book but boy was I wrong. N. Slater’s mind is a crazy, scary, creative and dark place and I’m here for it. I love it. In this book Killian continues to spiral and break apart, getting worse and worse. Aeron, Slash and Samael don’t know how to help him and in the meantime, they are all under a great deal of stress as their past and present haunt them and their future becomes very uncertain. There is a lot of twisted, dark and bloody that goes on in this story. I honestly couldn’t have predicted some of that. I had been on the right trail with somethings though, I won’t say more on that cause no spoiler zone over here. The tension was high in this book. Everything was off the charts in this book, from the crazy to the sex to the blood. The plot has sucked me in and I am so sad that this book is over and I have to wait for the next one! I am over here dying to know how this series ends and I can’t predict it right now. Not even close. The writing is phenomenal. The characters are insanely (haha pun not intended but I’ll take it) complex and endearing. The plot is intriguing with so much mystery and twists and turns that it not only leaves you guessing but craving more. This book took Phoenix up a notch and I can’t wait to see what the third installment brings us.

Wow....just WOW! I have so many emotions for this book. Do I dare say lightning struck twice? I do believe I dare. I absolutely loved it! The spice, the gore, death, and the overall emotional Rollercoaster reading through this book. Of course, there's even more to it than that. There's the mystery of the new killer!

Killian and his alters are struggling, and even with the help of his gorgeous men, things are spiraling. What are they to do? What can they do? Not only are they dealing with this, but they are also the threat that their secret could be exposed and have their lives completely destroyed. A new player in the game who is tearing everything apart. Will they be able to fix this and help Killian, or will they lose everything?

This book was truly fantastic and fast-paced from start to finish. If I could remain in my chair, I wouldn't have put this book down for a moment as I wanted to know what was going to happen every chapter!

I've said it on book 1 -so let me say it LOUDER for the people in the back for book 2:

So you say you want to read a DARK romance, well buckle up.....

There's something wrong and Killian is loosing more time. Even Dark and Daemon don't know what's happening. As Aeron, Ryker, and Samael become closer and more accepting of each other's demons with the addition of their 4th, there's a new player in town that threatens everything.

N. Slater sends us off on another twisted, psychological, MMMM, boundary crossing experience and I have never been so excited that a series isn't completed yet.

Higher heat and more action-packed. I had an inkling of what Killian's blackouts may have meant and I'm surprised (but also not) that I was correct.

While Killian's mind is splintering, Samael, Slash, and Aeron are also a mess and very volatile, though Aeron has been pretty muted and low-key this book.

I'm super curious on why Finn decided to do those things to Killian to get the 3 guys' attention. He's definitely on the very extreme scale of dark that matches the 3 terrors, but I wonder why he doesn't try to get along with Killian, Dark, and Daemon.

Can't wait to read the next book!

Loved it!

This one is way more obscure than Phoenix. The story keeps getting more tangled and complicated and kept me on my toes for the whole lot of it. I couldn't put the book down and I will be waiting for the next one as patiently as I can

I love the dark places N Slater’s mind goes 💕 Her books benefit greatly 😩 Ryker…. mannnnn I didn't think it could get any better but 💥 bam she goes and surprises us with this amazing masterpiece!!! I can’t get over how amazing her writing is! When reading and I see how well the characters are being depicted and their chemistry plays out on page its just beautiful 😍

Dark and twisted

Wow! Just wow! This book is a second book in a series. The first one definitely needs to be read first to understand what happens in this book.

This is only the second book of N. Slater's that I have read. I thought I knew what was going to happen in the end, but I was wrong. I was not expecting that! That plot twist, the suspense of the entire book. It kept you on your toes and wanted you to come back for more.

This is an MMMM dark romance and some heavy triggers, so please be mindful of that!

I love these men! All of them are so unique! So different! I think I may be crazy!

The conversation between Killan, Daemon and Dark about Gary in the beginning 🤌🏽. I am so invested in this story. I need Killian to work his way through this! I need Four Terrors!!! I need to see where this goes! I need to know what Brent knows! This left me with so many needs. (Wink)

Somehow this one was even darker than the first book of the Revelations series, Phoenix, yet even more disturbingly delicious. Killian and his alters are slowing breaking, in turn, causing Slash, Aeron and Samael to spiral as well. And of course when a band’s this convoluted and corrupted as they are spiral, things get bloody pretty quickly, which of course leads to some pretty dirty scenes.
In the midst of all this, the Terrors discover that they are in serious danger of being outed for who they truly are.
Sounds like a tasty recipe for blood, sex and of course depravity. In other words; perfection.

HOLY CRAP!!!! I didn't think anything more mind-blowing could happen for this series, but boy, was I so wrong! The plot hit so hard, the twists (like omgah), the shocking discoveries. My mind is officially blown! I was not expecting to find out what I did. Who exactly this mystery person is that was targeting the group from book 1. I'm so ready for book 3 to be available. I NEED to know how this all plays out asap.

Listennnn, this book right here? Absolutely phenomenal 🥰 The story itself is just so intriguing, it sucks you in. Each man in this book is lowkey spiraling and I couldn’t put it down because I had to see how they were going to handle it, but baby I was notttt expecting the plot twist! Like my jaw literally dropped, I was mind blown 🤣 It does explain so many of the events that happened both in this book & Phoenix though. Super excited for book 3 because I have lots of questions I need answered 😅

Plot:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Read the trigger warnings!!! Don’t say i didn’t warn you!!! Ryker was good, and intriguing. Not quite as thrilling as Phoenix but not far behind. Some of Killian’s chapters seemed a little repetitive but they made sense in the end. I can’t wait for the next installment of this series. The end was 🤯🤯 as you tried to figure out who “Finn” really is!!

I didn’t like book 1. But I loved book 2. I did guess the plot twist to this book while I was reading book 1. That was one of my theories right as that character turned up. Plus the fact that the author continuously told us. But tbh I thought that was gonna be the plot twist for the end of book 1 not the end of book 2.

Normally I would be majorly pissed for guessing the plot twist but the plot twist was hella fun and I loved the way it was revealed. It left me with so many questions.

I have no idea what to expect with book 3 and I hope I don’t guess any plot twists for that book. Because I guessed book 1s plot twist on Phoenixs first chapter when they mentioned the blue hair. And then this plot twist when they mentioned… I won’t spoil it for you. Read the book but try not to think too hard otherwise you’ll spoil it for yourself. But even if you do it’ll still leave you on the edge of your seat.

I can’t fucking wait to start book 3. I know ima be pissed after reading that book. Because there’s one more and it’s not out yet and merchant just came out yesterday!

Anyways I’m obsessed with all of these characters. I love how gentle and sweet they are despite their dark personality’s.

Buckle in people things are about to get darker! Remember to read those trigger warnings!

Killian and his men are being haunted by F, he’s creating trouble everywhere he goes but nothing is adding up. Who is he and what does he want?

Killian is falling apart and his guys aren’t fairing much better, they need to work together to figure everything out before secrets are revealed and no-one will be able to come out unscathed.

Plenty of twists and turns along the way, Slater plays with their readers before revealing anything and you’re going to be happy you took the ride.

Ends on a mild cliffhanger but trust me you’re going to want to read this now! I’m looking forward to seeing how things turn around and how the guys claim their HEA in the next two books.

If book one had me on the edge of my seat, book two has completely ejected me from the vehicle.

I first want to take a second to commend the author for the mental health representation as someone who struggles with mental illness themselves. We are never made to feel as though it is being glamorized or villainized; it is merely something our characters struggle with.

Moving on, this book takes you through a roller coaster of emotions. And the ending will completely blow your mind. As the plot developed I began to suspect that something more was going on than previously hinted at and was ecstatic to have my suspicions confirmed. Killian is one of the most developed characters I've read in a while and I can't wait to see how our little polycule handles all of these new revelations.

Each of these men continues to battle their outside demons as they feel helpless watching Killian battle his true inner demons.

This book ends in another cliffhanger leaving you chomping at the bits to find out what happens next.

This book is the perfect combination of twisted, suspense and delicious heat. It takes you on a journey, keeps you constantly guessing and creating theories in your head, and at the end you go OMG, what just happened!! Killian, Slash, Samael, and Aeron return to bring us double the darkness, and plenty of heat. It is one of those books that hooks you in and you can't put down. It also ends on a cliffhanger so be aware but it is sooooo worth it!

This is book two of the series and it must be read in order as it a continuation of the series. This is definitely a dark romance so I would highly recommend knowing your triggers or read the trigger warnings before diving in!

I love how this book goes into so much more about the events from book one and this book but holy smokes there was a twist I did NOT see coming. I am so invested at this point, I NEED book 3!! KEEP THEM COMING!!

Killian and his men are back, and the plot sure is thickening! This is a great second instalment to the Revelation series. It was one hell of a ride, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I did feel like I was going crazy at some point, but that's half the fun!

Killian, Dark and Daemon may not be the only three in his head......

Ryker is the 2nd of 4 books in the Revelations series and was oh so wonderful. Definitely darker at times, but also wholesome (no idea how to explain it). Was wonderful to see more of the relationship between all the men & Killian's alters. I found it faster paced to read than Phoenix, but have loved both books immensely. 10/10 would recommend.
