Sibling banter, hilarious group chats, and all the loving chaos that accompanies a large family: this is trademark Callaghan Green and it’s fitting that the original Callaghan and Green, Grant and Marie, take centre stage in this final instalment. Their decision to sell the house they’ve had their entire married life triggers memories of how they first met, and those are interspersed with the present-day family saying farewell to - and coming to terms with - a slice of their history. For aficionados of this series it’s a double joy: not only do we get the origin story, but we also get to catch up with all the characters from previous books and their multiple offspring several years after their stories first concluded. The everyday interactions are infused with a sense of what it means to grow up, get older, move on with life, which provides plenty of bittersweet moments for the family and the reader alike. However without giving anything away, the epilogue gives a very strong hint of where that moving on is taking us next. Anyone who loves this series (and you do have to read the series before tackling this one) will definitely adore the way this brings it to a full-circle close.
Thanks to the author for the advance review copy. All opinions are my own.

Elevator Pitch
A Callaghan Greene Novel
Annie Dyer
Ms Dyer has delivered a gift. This book is definitely for her fans! I LOVED this story. It has all of the characters, personalities, banter and group texts one would want and expect from the Callaghan-Greene clan.
Let’s just say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Grant and Marie were certainly all that back in the day, an epic love story. Of course we knew they were pretty amazing to have the kids they do revealed in the previous Callaghan-Greene novels. There are lots of Max and Vic, Jackson and Van, twins, grandkids and of course Seph, love that!!! This book is hard hitting with all of the feels and family that is written so well you swear that are all real not mere characters in a book. I don’t have the eloquent words to describe how great this book is. Pure love radiates. Bless Rose, I can’t wait for her story.
I received an arc of this book.

Elevator Pitch is book 11 in the Callaghan Green Series by Annie Dyer

This is the book I feel like I have waited for forever.  The Callaghan Green Series is one of the best series that I have ever read. It is a series I recommend to so many people because it is just fantastic. This book includes both the story that started it all and revisits all of the siblings and their families. Marie and Grants' story is everything you want and expect it to be, and I absolutely loved it. I will say if you have not read the entire Callaghan Green Series, DO NOT start here! Start with book 1, Engagement Rate, and go from there. Trust me, you will not be sorry,  you will love every book. You will also fall in love with author Annie Dyer's writing at the same time. I am also super excited about where we are heading in the future and can not wait for the next-generation series to begin.

ARC was provided by the author, and this is my honest review.

Get ready to be swept off your feet by "The Elevator Pitch" by Annie Dyer! This love story is simply extraordinary. Marie and Grant share a passionate, magnetic connection that is truly mesmerizing. Their love radiates with such intensity that it resonates profoundly within your soul.

Annie Dyer does an amazing job of taking us back to where it all began for the Callaghan-Green family. She skillfully intertwines their origins with the present-day experiences of their children and grandchildren. The witty banter and lively group texts had me laughing out loud, providing countless moments of genuine laughter.

What really stands out is the depth of affection and unwavering support this family shares. No matter the challenges they face, their bond remains unbreakable. This narrative is a beautiful testament to the power of love and family ties, leaving me with an even greater admiration for these characters. It's an absolute must-read that will keep you hooked from start to finish!

OMGEEEEEE!! Elevator Pitch is truly a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read!! What an EPIC love story! Marie & Grant’s chemistry was explosive and their love was so dang swoon-worthy you felt it deep in your soul. Annie takes us back to where it all began for the Callaghan-Green family and also gives us current day life with their children & grandchildren. I was laughing out loud so much at the back and forth banter and the group texts. This family loves each other more than anything and have each other's backs no matter how difficult the situation is…and I couldn't love them anymore than I already do. When friends ask for recs, the Callaghan-Green family are always at the top of the list!

This is like a trip down memory lane that brings together all of the Callaghan-Greens history in a condensed story. I loved to read Marie and Grant’s story. I cried and laughed throughout this book. It is so beautifully written, with so many details of what the characters were feeling so the writer could understand what they were going through. Wow! So awesome! Now I just can’t wait for the next generation!!

I finished reading this and let out a happy sigh. This book was a gem - telling two stories by combing back to how the Callaghan Green parents met ( you always knew Grant and Marie had a romantic start), Whilst the story is interwoven with the whole family and where there are now many years later than their books. Set around the sale of their family home it contains everything you want to finally close this chapter. It’s funny, heartwarming, some spice and it’s Wonderful to revisit much loved characters.
I really loved reading this and will probably revisit some of the earlier books again.
It’s not standalone - it’s the end of a series so go back to engagement rate and start this wonderful series with Jackson.
Another beautiful story from Annie Dyer - oh and the epilogue was a cracker!!! I look forward to this future story

The book everyone wanted to read, and Annie Dyer did not disappoint.

The is the story of Grant and Marie, and how the Callaghan-Green story began! Grant is a workaholic widower with 4 young children, he loves the kids but doesn’t know how to raise them. Whilst in America working on a case, he comes across the outspoken, takes no nonsense Marie. As they spend more time together their feelings grow, but she knows that things will have to change if they want to move forward in their relationship.

From previous books in the series, most will know what happens next, but I won’t spoil it by going into detail, just know - it is definitely worth a read.

I found the first book in Annie Dyer’s Callaghan-Green series a couple of years ago and I gobbled up the whole series and I was thrilled with what I thought was the last book as it was a favorite character and the book did such justice to the series. When I got Annie’s newsletter that there was a new book in the series and it was the story of their parent’s story, I screamed. Grant Callaghan met Marie Green when he was in New York City for a lawsuit. Both attorneys (barristers) they were on opposing sides and they get off on the wrong foot when Grant sticks his foot in his mouth and Marie puts him in his place. I freaking loved this book and it will be on my favorites of 2025 list!

If you haven’t read the series Grant was a widower and single dad to 4 children under the age of 8 who were at home in England and under the care of nannies. Grant was struggling with everything in his life except his work but he meets Marie and he is instantly in tune with her and despite their first interaction she’s attracted to him. They spend two weeks together all while Grant’s children are melting down at home. He loves them but even he admits he’s been a terrible father. Marie recognizes that Grant is struggling and she helps him put things into perspective and he decides he’s making some big changes when he returns to England.

This book is about those weeks in NYC, their early time together, and the memories of their life as they raised their children who all now have families of their own. Told through Memory chapters and while I am not a fan of flashbacks, the way Ms. Dyer wrote these chapters it was more like two books in one and I loved every minute. As Grant and Marie prepare to sell the home they bought together when they returned to England, the memories come and in addition their children react and are caught up in their memories as well. The family dynamic in this series always fascinated me and as the characters have aged, they are still the same but also not, as they all deal with their own children, careers, and the ups and downs of everyday life.

I began this book and I couldn’t put it down and even though it has been quite a while since I read the series, I found it easy to get caught up again with these characters and the new additions to the family as well. This book made me so happy in a time when the world is falling apart and I needed the escape into an alternate place and Elevator Pitch took me there. Thank you Annie Dyer for this series and especially for this book and I am so, so ready for the next generation!

Written in first person from multiple POV, this book tells the story of Marie and Grant’s beginning as well as the story of this big family as they enter a new chapter in their lives. It is a love letter to all of us readers who have cherished this family for so long. It is like reading a warm hug if that is possible. If you haven’t read this series yet, read it now and finish with this and I promise you will be left with all the warm and fuzzy feelings a good book series can give you.
The story is told in two timelines. Chapters in the present are from the POV of the adult Callaghan children, Grant, and Marie as they sell the family London home and begin a new chapter. Readers are gifted with a peek into the lives of each couple and their growing families as well as the mature outlook from Grant and Marie as they parent in the empty-nest/grandparent phase of life. Interspersed in between are chapters in memory form from Grant and Marie’s POV. These memories tell the story of their meeting, their whirlwind fling, their marriage, and the formation of the family we all love. The epilogue is written in third person, dual POV, and sets the stage for a future series that I am itching to read.
Grant and Marie meet with animosity, attraction, and wit. They grow quickly to respect and a fiery attraction that is 100% combustible. I have always adored Marie and now I just love her more. She is a rock-solid spitfire of a woman. Grant is in a vulnerable place when he meets her, and she helps him while helping him become better in his weaker areas. I really appreciated getting to see the history from his perspective. I especially enjoyed that he was firm in not repeating the childhood he had had for his children even though that would have been easier for him. Love the way he cherishes Marie even more now that I know their whole story. It was also a gift to see the children when they were small and the way Marie and her relationship with Grant helped them become the men and women they are now.
I don’t think I have ever read an end-of-series book as perfect as this one. It makes me want to reread everything again. This family is my happy place. Thank you, Annie, for this beautiful gift.
I am voluntarily leaving this honest review after receiving an advance reader copy of the book.

Elevator Pitch by Annie Dyer is a part of the Callaghan Green series and it's got all of my attention, and all of my heart!

I honestly don't know where to begin, and this is the best possible place to be, though I won't often say that. This story is all about where it began, and where it culminates. It's the past, present, and future intertwined, and I simply adored getting to read scenes previously only hinted at or alluded to.

Marie is a force of nature, something nobody would deny, and the family she builds with Grant is wonderful. We've gotten to see each one find their HEA, knowing all along that Marie and Grant had theirs, yet seeing how theirs started really clinched it all. And it was lovely to get to see more of what built their relationship, and the way Grant was at the beginning, and continued to be throughout, just like Marie.

This story made me smile, made me sigh, made me swoon, made me tear up, and the entire emotional gamut in-between, and I'd gladly do it all over again, in fact, am definitely already looking forward to dipping into the other books and circling back to this one.

Annie is masterful at world building, and creating relatable characters that we fall in love with more and more each time we encounter them. Thanks for creating this world of interconnected stories for us to escape into!

P. S. Thank you for giving us that glimpse into the next generation! I can already tell that one is going to be a doozy!

February starts off strong as the first book I read this month is easily going to be one of my favorites of the year as I just love this series, seriously it’s one of my all-time favorites so going into this one knowing it’s Marie and Grant’s origin story along with present timelines and I was obsessed. I sat on the edge of tears this whole book because it was so bittersweet for it to be ending. This series has been with me for about 10 years and I’m so sad to see it go.

However, I absolutely loved seeing Marie and Grant’s origin story, their romance wasnt really detailed and getting this, getting to see Grant’s time of that period especially knowing how the kids felt about it was so good. It was sad and I loved having Rachel be a forefront as well which was respectful and so needed for the path forward for Grant and Marie. Their connection was instant and it was so clear that these two are meant to be.

I loved using the sale of their family house to be the present storyline. It allows so many memories and old stories, and allows the reader so get some great moments will all the characters for a last time.

The surprise at the end of the book makes me so excited and I can’t wait to read the new book announcement!

Well Annie, you have done it again………….
I have read all the Callaghan books, in fact Engagement Rate the first instalment was one of the first Annie Dyer books that I read.
When I first read the summary of Elevator Pitch I must admit it didn’t grab me, but from the minute I started reading the book I couldn’t put it down.
It really helps that I have read all the previous books in the series and this one has advanced a few years from the last one. It was like catching up with friends!
We get to know how Grant and Marie first met through looking back and how Marie was introduced to the four oldest children. We also get to catch up with all the rest of their children and grandchildren.
We have the usual banter between the siblings which has always been great. #
I laughed and I cried and will be reading again soon………
Thank you Annie for a fantastic series, and we have been teased us with a new book which features Seph’s step daughter.

I’m just going to say it. This is my favorite book that this author has written and I have loved them all. It’s a love letter to the fans of this author and the Callaghan Green family You will laugh, tear up, swoon and smile all the way through

There are moments of such clarity from both perspectives being a child and now a parent. I mean we never want to think about our parents being intimate but if they weren’t where would we all be? They once were the lovers. It’s the circle of life.

If you haven’t read the Callaghan family books yet do yourself a favor don’t start here. You don’t want to spoil the experience and it might not be crystal clear what’s happening.

As if all this wasn’t enough the author gave us fantastic epilogues and a look into the future. As for this generation of Callaghan’s she went and saved the best for last.

Annie Dyer takes readers back to the Callaghan Green series with Elevator Pitch. This lovely book serves as a catch up on all the characters and their families in addition to flashback memories of their younger years.

I loved the humor, heart, and family focus of the story. From the moment I picked up this story I was hooked and didn't want to stop reading. Both the current timeline and flashbacks were so well done and meshed seamlessly

You could try to read this as a standalone, but you'll get so much more out of it by reading the rest of the series first. I also loved the family trees at the beginning of the book and how they referenced which book each person is featured in. It made me want to go back and reread Annie's backlist!

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.

Perfect For Any Fan of The Callaghan Green Series and Annie Dyer...

This is Marie and Grant's "origin" story - how they initially got together and merged their firms and their families and it is a wonderful and "must read" for any fan of the series. I loved seeing how they got together cleverly interwoven with an update of all of their children/spouses and grandchildren in the present. It probably should be read after the rest of the series to have meaning as unlike the others in the series, it doesn't work as well as a standalone. And as always, I look forward to reading more from Annie Dyer - Enjoy!

I was sent a copy of an ARC by the author and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

I laughed, I cried and I have withdrawals. This cannot possibly be the last of the Callaghan Green series!

This book is both the beginning and the end. Marie and Grant's story, and what a story it is. We've heard from the kids about how quickly they fell in love and married, but we'd never heard it from their side, and there's definitely not enough bleach for them to think about it. After a few health scares each, and the family all flying the coop and settled, it's time for them to downsize a bit and sell the big London home. Thank goodness there's still Oxford and the big place there for family congregations.

Now I need to go back to the start and re-read Engagement Rate. Again.

Absolutely adored the final instalment in the Callaghan-Green family series.

It seemed fitting and just lovely that this story takes you back to the start. I’ve always loved the snippets of Marie and Grant and this story just makes me fall in love with them and the family a little bit more.

Honestly this book is just incredible - Annie Dyer has once again blown my socks off. Reading her books always feels like coming home and this was no exception. The story is written in a way that is real and relatable.

Amazing well done and well worth a read ❤️

This book was the crowning glory to what happens to be hands down one of my favorite series. It's like a prequel with getting Marie and Grant's love story and also revisiting old favorite couples and like a warm hug as you see how all of them have thrived in their lives. I love this series because each couple has a different road to their happily ever afters and its wonderful supporting cast of characters. Each romance is unique in its own way and is a beautiful all the feels everything and more journey with a heartmelting storylines that are out of this world amazing.

4/5 stars.

Points off for me. I haven't read any of the books leading up to this one, so I did miss a lot of information (or well, in my opinion as I like to read chronologically), and I feel like that's the only reason why I couldn't give it the five stars - so again, boo me! I definitely loved this book, as I do with all books by this author and I now definitely have to go back to read the whole series and then do a reread of this one because it just deserves that honor. I finished this one so fast, I absolutely loved it! This is one I do 100% recommend even though I still haven't read the rest, it was just that good!

I’ve been waiting for this for so long! This is where it all began with my favorite family. The entire series is so special and I wish it would never end. The text messages are hilarious as expected, and it was great to walk memory lane with the entire family. And if you like sassy heroines and watching your single-dad hero fall head over heals then this is your next read. Grant and Marie are just my all-time favorite couple. Chemistry off the charts, lots of laughing, and plenty of spice. This is definitely my go-to books that I will read over and over again

This was the perfect ending to a beloved series of mine and countless others. While I will miss the Callaghan family, I got to visit them one last time before their saga ended. Yes, Seph still has trouble with the copier, and Marie and Grant are happily playing matriarch and patriarch. With flashbacks to some of the beloved times and insights to others, this was I can’t say bittersweet for me, but happy times remembered.

This book is everything and is truly a gift for those of us who love the Callaghan family as we finally get the story of how Grant & Marie met and their love story. It was fun to see flashbacks from when they met in New York and when his kids were young and of course when they had their own kids to add to the mix. It was fun to see the past interwoven with the present and see where their kids, spouses and grandkids are today. This book was like a warm hug.

Marie and Grant are both the beginning and the end. Without them, we wouldn’t have had the siblings that I fell in love with in this series. They are also the last story in this series , but is shows where their love began and how they became who they are together. As always I love this author and her storytelling and this was as fantastic as the others. Don’t start here though. It is a stand alone but you really need the other stories to fully feel this book. Highly recommended.

I honestly put off reading this as it wraps up this series but once I started I absolutely loved being pulled back into the Callaghan Green world. Going back to the beginning and seeing Marie & Grant's story which has been briefly touched on in other books was just the bet and to top it all off being able to see everyone again once last time and relish in their banter and love was the perfect way to say goodbye.

Wonderfull

Such a good book. Grant and Marie decide to sell their home. Stories from all the children's lives just brilliantly interwoven throughout Grant and Marie telling how they meet and get married. Grant already had four children, and Marie became their step mum that they all loved. Nice and spicy. All part of the story.
I have read all the books in this series, and this well was the icing on the cake, and I highly recommend this one,

This book tells Marie and Grant's love story. I feel like it's a present for us readers of the Callaghan family book series. It features flashbacks as well as current moments with them all with their children and their spouses. In addition, it has humor, and it shows the strength and courage they needed to face life's challenges.
