Dark urban gritty romances are often characterized by a toxic love and I typically don’t mind that. But with this one, I think even for me…the characters were incredibly difficult. The love was strugglicious for no actual reason other than just toxic, untrustworthy characters who don’t think and use their sense but also think they’re smart. It wasn’t very enjoyable to me because after a while the events felt a bit like a caricature or parody of themselves, like trying to up the ante of drama till the book didn’t make any sense. I couldn’t see why any of these characters liked each other, the littile girl Unique went from being lovely in Book 1 to an absolute brat basically given no boundaries, no one seems to have any idea what is appropriate for kids, the parenting is wild across all generations, the MCs lack priorities and are all incredibly unattractive to read because they’re universally childish- the only think the Princes had going for them was money and as for the heroines, it’s that they’re BBWs attractive to the heroes. Probably wouldn’t read a 3rd edition of this series.
Ok, this may be a little thing to some, but it absolutely drove me crazy that the author kept having everyone in the book say the following saying: “One thing is for sure, and two for certain”. Who be saying that? It was said numerous times in part 1 and here we go again with the same saying in part 2! And I’m sick of it!!!
Also, the whole thing with Draya was all the way messed up and had me not feeling Draylon at all anymore. Tasia and Drayvion got on my last nerve with the drama. He deserved much worse than what happened to him for what he did! For real, they all low-key play way too much to be all the way grown! And the Nautica and DJ part of the story was just extra, like wow!
I feel like these books are rushed. I don't get the same feeling I use to get from a Mz. LADY P book. I kept scrolling past this particular book series because it just didn't catch my attention like al her other books. People are killed off so quickly I'm scared to even like any of the characters.
I felt like I read a Tubi movie script. The way no one feelings are actually taken seriously and they don’t actually resolve issues is crazy. The constant murders and the sex scenes instead of actually conversation🥴 it’s so haha funny bad but I’m going to finish the series
It's really irking me that Kateevah and Latasia are written to be weak as hell. So much gaslighting and naivety in these books 😩 These relationships are toxic as hell and I'm mf tiedddd 😅 also some of the twists are starting to be unbelievable, but I guess that's in line with it being Tubi grade drama. Wasn't really a fan of this one.
I Felt Like I Just Read A Book About Highschoolers!
I was so hoping that Mz.Lady P brought the pen fire with this book but I’m so disappointed. Draylon and Kateevah are still acting like immature highschoolers and running away when they have problems instead of acting like adults who are married with kids. Speaking of kids Tasia was trifling af to leave her newborn baby because Horse said he wanted to co-parent after she set his “The Stable” room on fire with him and Diwanna who met her demise in the fire. Kateevah was a good parent to Unique before Draylon and now Unique didn’t want to even talk to her on the phone because Unique feels as though she’s always sad, crying over Draylon breaking her heart, and that she moved away and left her. Nautica had Draylon’s son while she was in prison without telling him and gave their son, DJ, to Draya to raise who also kept him from her brother. So many secrets are still coming out in regard to Draya that still makes me wonder was she really for Draylon or against him. And DJ taking his own mother out when she pointed a gun at Draylon and Kateevah was unrealistic and a bit too much for a nine year old. La-La did a complete 180 being a better mom and grandmom especially with eliminating her ex, Keizon and Tasia’s dad when she found out that he lied about being in witness protection while faking being deceased, had a whole another hidden family, and was trying to use their kids to take down the Princes. Belladonna showed immaturity when she acted up at Kateevah’s grand opening throwing nail polish at Kato, Kateevah’s absent dad, and at the club jumping on his wife but she redeemed herself when she went to Las Vegas speaking real facts about Kateevah and Tasia abandoning their kids because they were in their feelings about Draylon and Horse. I still don’t trust Kato motives for him coming around now to play daddy and granddaddy all of a sudden. Never read about a resolution with the Russians. It seems as though it’s going to be a part three which is crazy because this book really could have been combined with part one and been a standalone. Maybe in the next book the couples will be more mature acting, closure will come with all Draya’s secrets being revealed especially whatever their dad held over her head to do his bidding, and possibly the other family that Draylon and Horse’s dad secretly had.

Horse and Latasia are a toxic ass mess. Latasia Miyah was already reckless. Being pregnant and then finding out Horse was up to know good. Had Latasia making decisions that put her and Horse at odds. As crazy ass Horse is. I know his feelings were hurt when Latasia put him out of the Hospital room while she was in Labor but he knew what he was doing behind Latasia back was wrong as hell. Horse not ending his affair put his life in danger when Latasia found out. She had snapped. Latasia and Keizon mother La La seem like her actions wasn't genuine and she was still up to no good. Belladonna was waiting on La la to mess up just to beat her ass again. She was not playing about her husband. Keizon finding out his mother was hiding a ghost from their past didn't know what to do. I understand after Draylon father Drayton and sister Draya betrayed him. He was on edge. He still didn't know if he could trust his mother and grandmother. Kateevah had Draylon back one hundred percent. However I don't like how demanding and controlling Draylon is. It felt like Kateevah don't have a voice when she tries to express herself and Draylon feels like whatever he say goes. Yes I understand the position he's in as head of the family and trying to keep them all protected but he have to realize the aggression he have when speaking to his wife isn't necessary. Then Nautica popping up out of the blue thinking her and Draylon was going to be together along with a jaw dropping secret. Seems like Draya betrayal was still reaching beyond her grave. Nautica had an agenda. She thought revealing her nine year old secret would drive a wedge between Kateevah and Draylon. Annalise and Kateevah conversation was overheard by Draylon. He once again felt betrayed. Draylon was too dramatic because what Kateevah was withholding was to betray him and it wasn't her story to tell. His mother Annalise should've told him.

I wish I could rate this book at 10 stars, Mz Lady P you surprised me with this story every time I thought something is about to go down then here you come with a twist I really thought La La was out to hurt her children but I see she was really for them. Now Horse and Tasia are funny as hell because they just can’t get it together but she proved to him that she’s not to be played with and had his tail scared of her. In book 3 I need for Teeva to be stronger and stop running from her issues because Draylon didn’t want that crazy woman, I’m wondering what she said about Drayla faking gay and really wasn’t with Shameeka and the dad was, then did Annalise killed her to keep her mouth shut and lied on Drayla for no reason. I still think grannie and Annalise are up to no good but Teeva mom is going to get her chance with them I believe because they are sneaky and they are out to destroy Horse and Draylon and Kezion, Annalise said the dad had another family I wonder is that a lie to. I can’t wait for book 3 because the plot is going to thicken. Forget Amazon I’m giving you 10 ********** STARS great job as usual
Mannn this drama unfolded for sure in this one. I thought the biggest hurdle was over bit honey I was fooled for sure. Draylon has more on his plate than a little bit and I think he still needs that grace to be vulnerable with his wife only. Now that ending we seen a different side of them both but I definitely get it. Now Horse and Tasia are definitely toxic but I can tell their love is real. Just as Keizon said horse has to get used to the feelings he has. What Tasia did was warranted but we still must think before we act but sometimes we don't even have the time when we mad. Now BellaDonna is the true definition of an OG for sure. She is not afraid to whip anyone into shape and I love that. Hopefully she ain't gotta fight no more!!+
You can't help but to love the Prince brothers. Now Horse should have known making promises to his bipolar girlfriend would have server consequences, after the first set of emails they worked things out but unfortunately he just couldn't control himself and it almost costed his life but his stable was no more. Draya keeping things from her brothers led her to an fatal demise which was sad only if she would have trusted her brothers and told them what their father was up to she may still be able to enjoy life. Happy Draylon found his son but he needs to keep a close eye on him because he showed no remorse after what he did; glad he came to his senses and went back home where he belonged.
Lets just say you thought book one was a hell of a ride this book two makes book one look like child’s play. All these grown people are childish as hell and mess. Draylon has a way of rubbing you the wrong way while Kateevah is losing her voice. Everyone is running from their problems and or making more trouble for themselves. The Prince family has more secrets than a little bit. Draylon’s momma and grannie need to be watched. Tasia and Horse are just toxic. Tashia has him shook and he has to sit in the mess he made. Draya trusting her father was her unfortunate demise. The way book two ends i know we need to see where all the peices fall in book three.
After reading book one I was waiting for this one to drop because I knew it was going to be straight fire. There was so much left unresolved with all 3 couples and never mind Mama and Grandmama Prince.
Sadly that fire read did not happen. This felt very much like a book full of filler content. Nothing was truly resolved and Kateevah and Draylon and well as Tasia and Horse just seemed to go through it to go through it.
Loved every bit of it. That damn Tasia was crazy as all get out. Horse learned not to ply with her no more. Kateevah and Draylon are the best power couple ever. It's also sad that they will never get the answer to their questions bout their sister Draya. I loved Keviron and Belladonna relationship. These mothers in this book, they give the real meaning mama bear. Can't wait for the next installment.
Not what I am use to. The women were to weak and the men did not know how to treat the women they were so called obsessed with. There was way too much going on. The sister should have never died and we still don’t know what the father had on her for her to turn on her brother. I had to read both books because I am the type that I can’t leave things unfinished. I was disappointed.
Horse and Latasia belong together for real. Those two psychos match each other's crazy. Draylon was confused at times but he learned that Kateevah is not the one to play games with because she will play the long game. Keizon loves Belladonna and will rock anybody about her and she's the same way about him. DJ and Unique are so funny with their innocence. Annalise and Granny are so funny.
I see these women ain't no weaklings, especially Tasia. I don't blame her because Horse should have turned down then $50k. All money ain't good money and he learned that the hard way. I don't trust Annnalise and Granny. It's something about them old birds that don't sit right with me. Imma need Teeva to boss up just a little bit more on Draylon. Yeah he the man but watch yo tone. I'm kinda scared of lil DJ. Let's see if he really a little terrorist.💜💜
I loved the whole book I loved all the romance between the characters I loved all the killing scene I loved the secrets and everything everybody had to go through and I was shocked when DJ killed his mother and la la killed her child father and mz lady p does it again making you b think where the story going and you don't and she is not done Torturing us in book 3
Draylon couldn’t resist his daughter mom and all her curves so he wife’s her up before the dirt could dry on old girl grave. Tasia was the real mvp, she burned Horse ok cheating ass bitch up yass. Now the Prince brothers mom and grandma I’m still waiting on more to come they sneak. Great book very interesting
These couples are funny as heck. Braylon was a little hard on Kateevah I think. He didn’t have to get that mad where he left home for weeks. Tasia scared Horse but maybe that’s what he needed to fall in line. I hope there are no more secrets. Can’t wait for the next installment.
I had to go back and reread the first book before I started this one! When I tell you everything lined up perfectly, it did! I couldn't stop reading it. I am loving Horse and Tasia!!! Unique needed her a$$ beat! Dj will become his daddy's protector! I want Kat to have a baby by Dray!
I kind of wish Draya wasn’t really dead so she could answer some questions. Also I was hoping that Belladonna would get pregnant just like Peaches did by her young husband and with twins. Kateevah and her mouth can be pregnant at the same time. That would be wild!
Omg. I loved this series. I still am trying to figure out Annalise character, but a mother’s love knows no bounds. Taisa character had me ROTFL cause she crazy crazy😂😂😂. I’m ready to see how DJ turns out cause he’s definitely gonna be a beast. I’m ready for the next part.
So is Annalise the villain or was Draya a semi snake ? ? ? Was Draya silently trying to protect her brothers and her moves got her caught up ? ? ? Is La La really changing her ways or is she just covering her tracks ? ? ? Is Kato really innocent or is he tied onto the Russians ? ? ?
This book was good. The first one, and the second one had a lot of twist in terms a lot of plots last one with the little boy that was crazy. He killed his own mama to protect his daddy. Wow all I can say is good job. You did a good job on this. Can’t wait to read more of your books.
This book was ok. Men who kidnap, threaten and physically assault women is not entertaining to me. Women who accept this behavior as love is troubling. Even the children kill people. I struggled to finish the book. I like a good romance with a lil hood grit but enough with the sex scenes. Lastly, every book of Mz Lady P has the saying “One thing for sure, two for certain” and is too repetitive
