Each book in this series will focus on a different couple, but these books are not standalones and should be read in order as there is an ongoing backstory that won’t be resolved quickly. Well I loved the beginning part, I really how easy the love flows between the two of them and they're just so great at communicating its too bad how it progressively getting boring from that point on, I keep dragging myself to finish it.

It was cute in the way Taylor's books have been lately. I really like Dimitri, and Caspian was really sweet. I hope we get to see more of Sergei and Chin soon, I really like them and this is the most we've seen of them so far

As always taylor knocks it out of the park with another great read that will keep you coming back for more watching the couple find their way and seeing one that wants a family ASAP is awesome. Can’t wait too see what comes next

Another good read by Taylor Rylan. Dimitri is a the created dragon’s grandson and an Enforcer with the Paranormal Council but he like many other Enforcer’s without magic have been on limited missions. Caspian is needing a break so he decides to leave Madrid and vision his younger brother Sebastian, his one Drew and their adorable daughter Fiora. The last thing he expects is to not only meet his mate in Treasure Ridge but that his mate is an alpha, as he always assumed that he’d be the sire. He’s not upset it’s just a bit of a shock. I thought that Caspian and Dimitri were great together and their chemistry was off the charts.
As I’ve said with some of the previous books that I would’ve liked a bit more action and adventure but then Dimitri only really had one short mission and it was more information gathering than having to rescue anyone from an extremely horrible situation. I’m glad that Taylor said that this series is going to be quite long as I’d happily read as many books that Taylor chooses to write, especially from this universe. I’ve pre-ordered Frederick’s book and Roman’s book which is the next book in the Destined Paranormals Series and I’m looking forward to reading both of them when they’re released. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.

It was a good book, I liked it.
I loved these series and I wish it never ended.
Caspian was expecting someone else as his One but in no way was he disapointed.

Dimitri by Taylor Rylan is the 14th book in her Paranormal Council Enforcers series. I highly recommend that you read the others first to understand the ongoing plot as well as learn the characters and their backstories that play a part in this one. Dimetri Vasiliev is the grandson of the created dragon and is now working as an enforcer for the Paranormal Council that is located on Treasure Ridge in Montana. They investigate problems that are happening in all the paranormal groups and he wants to help. He has recently started his job but hasn’t been sent on many assignments and is contemplating leaving the group. He goes to the general store and smells his mate. When he confronts him, his mate makes a comment and then leaves and disappears. He goes to the council building to talk to Master Edison and finds out who he is. When he goes outside, he sees him. Caspian Ainsworth is a warlock and has come to Treasure Ridge after a busy and trying week working as a lawyer for his father’s firm in Spain. He is going to visit his brother and mate, Sebastion and Drew, and their young daughter, Flora, who he dearly loves. That gets derailed when he sees Dimitri and recognizes him as his fated mate. They go to Dimitri’s house, as it is winter and very cold out, and begin to talk to learn about each other. Caspian never thought that he would be the carrier for their children and that takes some getting used to. They also discuss where they will live and decide to stay in Treasure Ridge as Caspian was considering a change and this way Dimitri can continue his job as an enforcer. The story continues as they learn more about each other, chose where to live, Dimitri takes Caspian flying on his back, deal with their parents and grandparents who dearly love them, have some very hot love scenes where they claim each other, declare their love for each other, and go on to have a baby. At first Caspian is very sick and must take the sleeping tea from Dr. King in order to feel better which takes several weeks. Then they resume their ‘activities’ and continue to dote on each other. Meanwhile new enforcers have arrived at the Council and the Created Ones are looking for a pair brothers who are into very bad things in Italy and they are going to work with one of the Mafia covens there for information to find them. Dimitri is sent there with his team for a week but keeps in contact with Caspian through their bond and then comes home as they look for more information. The story ends as they welcome their baby dragon and are very happy. I really enjoyed this book as I have all of the others in the series. Ms. Rylan has created a paranormal world like no other I have read. Both Dimitri and Caspian accept each other from the beginning and are happy to be together. They both have some outlooks that need to change but are willing to do it to give each other what they need. Their parents, grandparents, and brothers play a big part in the story and are overjoyed they found each other. The Council is still looking for one of the brothers and it was fun to see the being surround Caspian when he was pregnant and out on his deck appear again and give him warmth before disappearing so we still don’t know much about it. I highly recommend this book, especially if you like stories about different paranormal beings being fated mates, falling in love, and having a baby while there is some suspense going on in the background.

I haven't read any of Taylor's work prior to this story. Seeing as how this book is the 14th book in this series I was a little lost, however, that was by my choosing. I wanted to read this book as is for two reasons; one: because it sounded really good, and two; I wanted to see if I would be able to enjoy this book as a standalone without reading any of the prior books.
You know what I found out? This can absolutely be read and enjoyed as a standalone, at least in my opinion. I was able to become immersed in this paranormal world full of mages, dragons, shifters, vampires, and so many more paranormal beings, due to Taylor's great writing. The way in which Dimitri's character is written gives off an older school, he speaks very proper and formal, yet is so sweet with his family and with Caspian.
I liked how Taylor put their own spin of fated mates, it was unique and offered a fresh perspective on two people being destined for each other. I commend Taylor for being able to build up such a heavily detailed world, in addition to creating such unique characters that all add so much to the overall story. I also enjoyed how Caspian's pregnancy was written, you could tell Taylor put a lot of thought into how exactly they wanted to write mpreg.
As much as I did like this story, I wish there was more focus on Dimitri being an Enforcer... For example, he finally gets tasked with going on a mission away from home, but that seems to be glossed over after a few chapters... I wish there was more of him tracking down the mages himself, or even catching the ones they are after.
My favorite moment was when both Caspian's and Dimitri's families all got together to get to know one another and to celebrate. It was just full of so much love and joy, it was really heartwarming.

What do you do when the Fates know more about yourself than you do? Love the alpha dragon you are paired with! It was fun to read about another supernatural that was positive they would be a sire but ended up the carrier. Caspian's story had a few similarities to Ambrosious in that way, but they are totally different characters that reacted in vastly different ways - which creates an excellent and new dynamic for our leading men.
Dimitri is. . . not a talker. By his own admission he does not frequently feel the need to add to mundane conversations. He has finally been made a council enforcer, despite his grandfather, the created dragon's, best efforts to keep him off the force. And though he his a powerful dragon shifter, he finds himself sidelined because he isn't a magic user. Dimitri is steadfast, loyal, and thoughtful regardless if his reserved nature. It's great that he isn't a carbon copy of his grandfather in personality, or any other previous series character for that matter. It could have been an easy trope for the author to use, but she avoided it with great deftness.
The relationship between Caspian and Dimitri is so soul-soothing. They love and support each other while making sure neither is being subsumed into a shadow. While tales of constant miscommunication seemed to be all the rage at the moment, these two constantly check in with one another, ask each other for clarification or a better explanation when things get confusing, and openly deal with their feelings together. True couples' goals!
A quick reminder that this book is a part of a series that definitely needs to be read in order. You will miss out on so much if you skip!
Recommend for fans of Taylor Rylan's previous works, Minerva Howe, and Gail Carriger.

There are only a handful of books in all of Rylan’s paranormal offerings where the carrier is pretty shocked to discover he’s going to be the carrier. There was no dislike, just a “Oh! Didn’t see that coming.” I don’t know why but I like that a lot. It makes for a fun read for their expectations to be shaken up a bit. This book is also somewhat of a lighter read as it does not involve one of the MCs having been traumatised by being trafficked or a terrible family.
Getting to know Dimitri, and therefore a little more about the created dragon, was so great and I hope we see more of his family finding their mates. The investigation into the mafia vampire clan was great, and was intriguing and seemingly spinning off into its own thing which I am excited to read more about in upcoming ‘Frederick’.
The ending felt a little rushed but overall I very much enjoyed ‘Dimitri’.

Book 44 and I still love them!
This author is absolutely fantastic! I feel like I should go back and write reviews for all of these books. I’m not a big review writer but I feel like I’ve done a disservice by not reviewing these since the beginning. And yes I’ve been reading this current run of books since the beginning back with the Honey Creek Den. 44 books later and I still love each one that comes out. I originally started reading these books with the free kindle unlimited versions but by the time I got to the Warlocks Of Amherst books I was so enraptured in this world that I went back and started buying them all from the beginning and I’ve bought every new release since. They’re that good! The world building and depth and variety of characters that this author continues to develop is astounding and I hope they never stop. Now for this book specifically; this couple is beautiful! I know if I ever saw humans that looked like them in real life I’d melt on the spot. Gorgeous genetics and explicit steam aside (but not discarded🌶️🔥🥵) their unwavering love and support for each other is even more beautiful. Their family and friends bring an extra layer of care and support and humor that really brings it all together for the ultimate in warm fuzzy feel good moments. The ongoing backstory of the current turmoil in Italy brings depth to this story that will keep you coming back for more. I absolutely cannot recommend this author or these stories enough. 10 outta 10 definitely recommend! 😘🥰

"They both come from powerful lines. What will that mean for their future together?" -- Apparently not much --OMG! So not what I expected. I decided to take a dip into something short, sweet and simple with a decent overarching plot ,so I reached for a Taylor Rylan story.
I am 25% in and they are discussing, very boringly discussing, the probable pregnancy and where and how they will live. They are both so reasonable that it is making me itch.
End of book and it was an effort - this was endlessly boring. The characters do not have character. They epitomize soda crackers - bland, predictable and without any complexity.
They do not impact on the overarching plot of the story, even though there was bountiful opportunity for Dimitri (a skilled tracker) to take a role, but no - no fun for Dimitri and no fun for the reader. The biggest point of excitement was a large baby! Really??

I wasn't expecting to like or care about this one because we really didn't know anything about Dimitri going into this, but I liked Caspian from the last book so here we are. This was, again, focused mostly on the pregnancy and the complaining that comes with each one. We got so close to something with the overarching plot; they found one of the cousins and were hoping to lure out the other. We end up with a cold trail on the cousin and Frederick being mysteriously sent to Amherst by Edison. I'm willing to bet his One is one of the two questionable warlocks from this dirty Italian coven, probably Dominic since we never met the other one. We'll see though. I'm riding it out now. I just want this plot to be finished already. We have so many books now and we're still not done! I'm just glad they've changed locations. Overall, this book was ok.

What a sweet story. Dimitri is the grandson of the created dragon and is working as an enforcer with the council. Caspian is a warlock who works at his father’s law firm in Spain. When he came to town to visit his brother and his daughter, he is in the bakery when he meets Dimitri. They both realize that they are mates. Caspuan leaves and Dimitri finds him later on. This is the start of their story with how they found housing together, work on their relationship into being mates, with high heat and chemistry between them. Loved their interactions and how they worked together. Love this series and cannot wait to read more.

Taylor Rylan is very dependable when it comes to her fated mates series. Before opening a page in any book of this series I know that I’ll love the characters, there’ll be no angst, there will be some lovely fluff with plenty of steam and an HEA that leaves me smiling. Dimitri and Caspian’s story is true to form and I loved every moment of this enjoyable and engaging read. It met all my expectations and was a very pleasurable and relaxing way to pass a few hours spending time with some new and some old friends.

I love this world. I love the fact that the books are relatively angst free between the couples. There are overarching issues that have had some resolutions and aspects that have continued on as they world progresses. What I am so dying to know is who the presence on the mountain. I have ideas, but could be totally wrong. Both Dimitri and Caspian are sweethearts and make great spouses, fathers, sons, brother & friends. I can't wait for the next book.

October 28, 2024I could not put this book down once I started reading! Dimitri and Caspian are a delight to get to know. Their story is as unique and beautiful as they are and I am looking forward to read what happens in the next coming book's. I recommend this book to all who are interested and if you would like to start at the beginning get War (Honey Creek Den series book 1). And finally I have to say Thank you Taylor Rylan for all of the hard work you have put into these books and to the wonderful universe/world you have created!!!!💖💗🥰

I love this series! This time, we have the grandson of the created dragon mated to a powerful warlock. Other Created Ones are featured as well. The story focuses on Dimitri and Caspian. The sexy times are frequent and dragonfire hot. You will find it easy to visualize everything. It helps if you have read the previous books, as old friends are here. Our two heroes have their HEA, but the storyline continues. Not all issues are resolved. So...I can't wait for the next book! You just need to read this book to know what I mean.

I really enjoyed this book. Sergei and chin always came off as mysterious and we finally get to see them and their relationship in this book. Dimitri was a very good character and while he comes off as stand offish, towards his mate he is nothing but a devoted teddy bear. He and Cassian fit together very well. I just wish we could have seen Sergei and chin meet the baby. Loved this book and can’t wait for the next.

I loved the blending of worlds and families that had to happen for Caspian and Dimitri. I enjoyed that they both had jobs and responsibilities. Despite one being an alpha they were very equal. We get to see all of our other favorite enforcers and families as well of course! Fun, Fluffy and as always Fated!

Taylor once again has outdone herself. Every new book I can't help but fall in love with the characters and the world all over again. Dimitri and Caspian are amazing and so in tuned with each other.
This book and the series are ones that I will always recommend to people when they want a fantasy romance.

So all I am going to say about Dimitri is I loved it and I’m going to leave it at that.
So yes I most definitely do recommend this book, but if you haven’t read the previous books in this series then I highly suggest that you do otherwise you’ll probably get confused about who’s who and what’s happening.

My new favorite!
Dimitri and Caspian have been paying attention to the hiccups in the romances happening everywhere and have learned a few things. Thankfully!
Much progress in the background enforcers case and the council is still expanding. Glad to see new characters in need of mates coming in. Endless possibilities!

Dimitri is the latest book in the Paranormal Council Enforcers series. Dimitri and Caspian story is so sweet and romantic. The chemistry between them can be seen through out the book and I enjoyed it. All the characters are likeable and the book has a great flow to it and I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

I really enjoyed learning about Dimitri and Caspian. They had a sweet story that makes my heart happy. There is continued intrigue with the council as they hunt the Gallo brothers. I would have enjoyed learning more about the created dragon and his mate.
All in all I really enjoyed the story. I would have liked more, but I like longer books.

Oh i loved these two! Finally a couple that really took things as well and accepting as these two did. Lol. It was just a nice change. I have loved every pairing so far. Some have struggled more than others and that's ok. It was just really sweet to see the two be so open and ready. Can't for the next pairings!

This book/series is awesome
I love all the books/series in this universe - they get better & better I jump into each book fall in love with each couple and then catch up with all the other characters from earlier books!!!
I love seeing the combination of species each couple bring and watch as they wade through the waters!!!

Wow!
Another amazing book by the author! This series just keeps getting better and better as time passes. I love that the storyline doesn't just focus on the couple but the world around them as well!

Pretty good!!
Loved Caspian and Dimitri! Although they were perfect together, I wished there was more action like the other books in the series. This was okay, but not one of my favorites!!

Another great installment of the paranormal counsel enforcers. Dimitri the grandson of the created dragon meets Caspian and their story is just so sweet. Both are laid back and easygoing. Definitely recommend this.
