Dante: a bit anticlimactic for an MC romance. No real drama or grit. It's definitely spicy but could be spicier. There is some drama, especially with the klepto that is the lead female character getting into trouble with a rival MC. You'll never believe over what. Some of the author's choices in the story will have you palming your forehead, they're just so random and out there. If they made sense, it would be okay. But they don't. Not sure if I'll finish the entire box set but this first book was just okay.
Blaze- Blaze & Bella: triggers: kidnapping and assault. The second book of the series follows Blaze, Dante’s little brother. We saw blaze get into some trouble in the previous book and now he's a member of the Thunder Bikers MC. Bella is the owner of a coffee shop working alongside her sister despite what her father the sheriff wants. Blaze and Bella start off hot and heavy but blaze has a hard time balancing club life with his life with Bella. This was not my favorite book. It was actually kind of boring. Since Blaze is teetering between being a member and not, there's not a lot of connection to the club. I didn't like it.
Hunter- Hunter & Brittney: (triggers: hacking, kidnapping, assault, politics) this book was very interesting and extremely sexy but the end was extremely lackluster. Hunter is the club's “researcher”. When they get a job involving a politician, he seeks the aid of an old friend, Brittney. However, Brittney has unknowingly been working for some bad people and also needs protection. These two are very hot but I expected more from the main story with the politician. The author could've done so many things. Instead I was left feeling, blah.
Rocky: Rocky & Rosa- triggers: assault, tampering with evidence. So this book almost ruins the entire series because the author totally messed this one up. First off, there's a really huge mistake in this book. The author messed up the name of the heroine, starting from chapter TWO! Secondly, this book was more boring than the previous books, nothing really happens and I still have the same complaint that there's not enough drama involving the actual club members. It's always one or two members but never all of them, no parties or anything. Not even a connection with the new “old ladies”. I also didn't understand why Rocky had a bike but he was walking everywhere. Really? I can't… I'm hoping there's only one book left because this series is working my nerves at this point.
Rex - Rex & Bella. 🤦🏾♀️. It just gets worse and worse. Rex is told by Otis to go do a protection detail on a woman and to get to know her. The woman is a teacher so they pull strings and he's sitting in the class while Bella teaches. They get to know each other and start getting involved. It's pretty quick that you can figure out what's going on with the book. And despite a mention of someone making trouble for other chapters of the club… we never see any actual trouble and never hear about it again. It's all just blah.
Kyler- Kyler & Diane: well 8 have to say that this book is just as disappointing as the previous such l six. there's no antagonist and the author once again fails to dig deep into the characters so you can begin to root for their relationship. Kyler spends the first few chapters whining about being made to go transfer to Greensboro because of something he did in San Diego. I have to say this entire series was a waste of time.
