Yo. It's been awhile since I've been teased with paranormal stuffs in a contemporary world. Things are not as they're seemed, that's what this book is about.

Though, between Skylar or Persephone, I think I like the latter better.

I am a huge Tabitha Kiss fan, but this book didn’t do it for me. I was confused the whole time and didn’t feel any chemistry between the main characters. Will not be reading the second one.

I’ve been a Tabatha Kiss fan for a long time so I didn’t even read the synopsis of this book before I started reading and had no idea what I was in for. I love all genres of romance and this book took me on a wild ride and ended with a cliffhanger. This has very little steam but honestly that didn’t bother me because I was too invested in the story. The chemistry buildup, I have a feeling will be worth it as the series continues. We meet Skylar and we have very little of her backstory she’s running from something and hiding in Siren City where she’s taken on private nursing care for Adrian. The whole of Siren City is run by a mafia type organization but they are all named after different Greek Gods. Adrian is back and at one time use to run Siren City until he was ousted and thought to have been dead. There are other forces at work and I can’t say much or it will give the story away. Just know that there is more to Skylar and Adrian then meets the eye. I have so many theories and if you know anything about Greek Mythology you can see where this is leading. I savored this book and took my time reading it. There are a lot of characters and as I got to see glimpses of the past and how everyone is connected it left me anxiously awaiting the next book. This is dark urban fantasy romance and I am now a fan of this style of writing. 5 Glorious stars!

Incredibly intriguing read filled with pirates, Gods, and the Devil himself seeking revenge and retribution! It’s gritty, dark, and shrouded in mystery and betrayal with a magical and mythical vibe. Adrian Price and Skylar Green will sweep you up in this gripping tale and leave you begging for more.
Siren City, a city filled with villains, where no one wants to be found, no one wants to draw attention, and everyone wants to disappear. Which is exactly why Skylar Green finds herself here selling her soul to the Devil himself, Adrian Price. Because Adrian will happily give her a shadow to hide behind in exchange for 365 days of her time. But will either of them be the same when it’s over?
Sucked me right in. Love the Greek God aspect, the pirates keep it intriguing, and the kind of dystopian city vibe set the scene, but the Devil, Adrian Price, he keeps you flipping pages. His quest for revenge, his determination to take back what was once his, it’s hot. And the mystery around Skylar, the fact she’s more than she seems but the pieces aren’t there to figure out what exactly, so fascinating. This ends on a cliffhanger, leaving you with more questions than answers but I absolutely cannot wait for the next book because this one is fabulous and I need more!

This dark mysterious story will take into the world of Greek Gods and The Devil who all live in Siren City. These Greek Gods are men and women who sought control at their own hands causing death and destruction to their city believing their way of life was what’s best for their subjects. When Skyler comes to Siren City to escape her trauma she’s answered an ad for a nurse and meets Adrian a man who seems to be hiding many things about himself. These two figure out a way to live together and once Adrian sets out for revenge, secrets come to light putting them in danger of becoming revealed. Skyler has another with her and it becomes clear there is a temptress and a healer but Adrian’s not sure how to navigate them. Adrian seeks his closest friend out, Candy and boy is he a man full of surprises. There are others who are not what them seem so Adrian must be aware who are friends and enemies. Where will Adrian and Skyler’s journey into the underworld take us?

And anti-hero with a dark past a ruler thought dead Gods that are up to know good bringing destruction in there wake and a healer who where's more then one face who is Skylar is she a healer or a seductress why has she come to Siren City and what ties her to Adrian and who is Candy. With Pirates, witches friends who may be enemies this dark City may be short on romance but brings plenty of intrigue. So I have been a fan of Tabatha Kiss for awhile and this book is different from her other books and readind her as Tabatha Drake is a little different but very intriguing so don't expect there to be allot of romance write away but the steam is definitely still there between Adrian and Sklar it's like a slow simmer write now this book has allot going on and I cant wait to see how the characters rebound after the cliffhanger book 2 needs to come out soon.

Devil indeed!

Expect the unexpected in this new series. Book one is a revenge story set in Siren City, a place built by pirates and now run by Greek gods, that exists just outside the norm of reality. Within exists what is left of its people who are now living on the edge due to a change in management, as it were.

Adrian has somehow returned but in secret and is hiding in plain site. He is trying to amass his trusted friends to take down those who toppled him and in the process hires a mysterious woman, Skylar. She is his live in nurse, but not everything is as it seems with her as she too has a dark secret she wishes to keep hidden but is making itself known.

A twisted, dark romance that ends on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait for part two.

Not my usual type of read with gods, pirates, a fantasy world and with a cliffhanger, which I avoid and not read….BUT….it was by this author and I was intrigued. I am so happy I did, Siren City is a place that is in the “real” world but it’s not, it has gods such as Zeus, Aphrodite, Apollo to name a few and Hades is a “man” named Adrian. Adrian was the King of Siren City till he was betrayed and now he is back to take his vengeance. He also needs a nurse and hires Skylar, a woman with many secrets who needs a place to disappear. Her one job is to treat any injuries Adrian succumbs to and to keep him alive.
Suspense, fantasy, surprises, twists and turns, kept me flipping the pages and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I just love it when a story keeps me guessing and questioning (things) as I read, and The Devil of Siren City was no exception! It’s one of those twisty tales where I thought I’d figured out where the story was heading, only for it to twist again. Rather than reveal any potential spoilers, I’ll just say that I really enjoyed it!

It’s a well written urban fantasy with intriguing characters. There’s plenty of drama, mystery, suspense, some danger, conflict and violence along with the slow burn of attraction and some kissing. I was left with several questions and even a few theories, so I hope I won’t have long to wait for Part Two… ‘the Fall of Aphrodite’.

The Devil of Siren City is a dark, mysterious tale where evil lurks around every corner ... out of sight, in sight, everywhere ...
And at the center of it all are the two biggest mysteries of all ... a devil back from the dead and a maiden with two faces, one a healer, the other a temptress.
There is such a strong attraction between these two that reading their story feels like being caught in a magnetic field.
Gah ... this story is most definitely a page-turner par excellence, unputdownable, the start of something big and magical, and I can't wait to read more of Adrian and Skylar's story!!!!

Wow. Just wow. I feel like just about anything I could say about this book is potentially a spoiler. It sucked me in, pummeled my imagination into submission, then spat me out when it was done. It was such an incredible story. A little vigilante justice, a bit of revenge – Old Testament-style, and a whole lot of secrets that everyone’s trying to protect. I’ve pretty much fallen in love with Adrian and Skylar already. I have so many suspicions, and now I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book to see if any of them are right.

I’ve read Tabatha Kiss before and loved her sports romances. But this alter ego of Tabatha Drake, is new to me, and I understand the difference.
This is romance, but it’s also fantasy with pirates, Greek gods, the devil and magic.
Get pulled into this intriguing and mysterious world as Skylar and Adrian’s story twists and turns and leaves you guessing with a cliffhanger ending.
This is darker and gritty, with intriguing characters, danger, violence and action. It’s one heck of a page turner and I hit that cliffhanger hard (even though they warn you about it).
Can’t wait to read book two.

Wow! Tabatha never misses and The Devil of Siren City is no exception. Both characters are dealing with their own demons, and I feel like if I say anymore I will be spoiling it. This book had me on the edge of my seat at every turn. As soon as I started reading I was so entertained by the characters. I love Candy, and he just might be my favorite character. I can’t wait for the rest of the series because I can tell it’s going to be one to remember!

Skylar went to Siren City after something happen at her current job. Adrian use to be called the devil. Most people thinks he dead.. As work out around that he was alive. Everybody came after his friend. Candy kept him in the loop. This is a fantasy story. Skyler has Persephone OK as a second person that was doing things on her behalf.. There are a lot of secrets, and they are going to catch up with them Adrian was very nice to Skyler when Candy didn’t want to be nice There is a lot of mystery to the story, and you never know what’s lurking around, but you will be interested in this story. See what happens between Skyler and Adrian.

Awesome start to this series. The author has created a dark and fascinating setting for this story, and the story is so intriguing, so compelling, that I couldn't put it down! All the characters are super interesting and the connection between Adrian and Skylar is mesmerizing. Mystery and suspense, twists and turns, murder and revenge - it's all here and all I can think about is when can I get my hands on the next installment of the story! I love it.

In my opinion dark, mysterious, intriguing and didn't disappoint except for the cliffhanger ending. I was warned about the ending but still UGH! Teehee! In my opinion The Devil of Siren City is full of suspense, mystery and action. I'm usually pretty good of figuring things out, but not this time. I found Skylar, Adrian and the secondary characters interesting. In my opinion Tabatha Drake did not disappoint. If you are a Tabatha Drake I would recommend The Devil of Siren City. A Very Different but Exciting Read

This story is a big departure from what I usually read, and I was taken in almost immediately with the mystery of the Skyler and Adrian. Nothing in this story is what it seems, and just when you think you might have a clue about how this is going, along comes another twist that throws all previous thoughts out the window. I could not put this book down as this story is one amazing page turner and I cannot wait for the next installment.

Normally I can’t seem to get into fantasy books but this one had me hooked from the beginning. Secrets, employer/employee trope, gives grumpy sunshine vibes and had quite a bit of humor. The background gives enough detail to help you understand the plot but also leaves a lot more to come. I liked the characters and plot twists so far. I don’t want to give too much away but if dark fantasy romance with some light hearted moments and a mystery suspense plot then this is for you. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

This book is so amazing I don't know where to start. It's a dark romance that may or may not involve Greek gods. There are pirates, witches, lots of bad guys and an irresistible anti hero. Skylar is running from something or someone. She takes a job, for a lot of money, from a mysterious stranger, Adrian. Adrian is out for revenge because his old "team" tried to kill him. Now his city is run by his old friends that call themselves by the names of Greek gods. This book has many twists and turns. I can't wait for the next one!

I really enjoyed this story! It pulled me in from beginning to end and held my attention the entire time. The story delves into Greek gods and it was interesting and different. The story is on the darker side but I really enjoyed it. I was engaged with Adrian and Skylar from the beginning. Their connection is well done and well written and it definitely comes across well. The characters in this book and in Siren City are full of secrets and it definitely makes for twists and turns as things are going on and trying to figure it all out as Adrian is moving forward with his mission and seeing how Skylar falls into that as well. This story does end on a cliffhanger as it is an ongoing serial. It has definitely caught my attention and I can't wait for the next one.

This book completely surprised me in such a good way, I absolutely loved it! Another dark book by Ms Drake had me falling in love with her characters once again.
I really enjoyed the surprises this book threw at me, the characters and all their relationships. I loved Skylar and Adrian right from the first chapter and their connection even through that big surpise with Skylar.
I so want more! I can't wait to get the next part in this series.

What unique storytelling and intertwined genres to bring life to the pages of this book. Greek Gods, pirates, and secrets. Skylar is a new nurse that has grabbed the attention of the mysterious Adrian Price, and their journey has just begun. This was a great start to a new series, and I cannot wait till the next one to find out what happens next.

Skylar has secrets, and she is escaping them, she makes her way to Siren City and is going to look after Adrian Price. Siren City has changed since it was taken over by the god (or they have taken some god's names - Zeus, Ares, etc). Many think it's worse, but do they really want the devil back? I loved this gripping story, that weaved it's words around me, I need the next one.

Exciting and Complex!!

Siren City. A place for the dangerous. Skylar is going through a crisis and accepts a position as a trauma nurse in Siren City for Adrian Price - who appears to have nothing wrong with him. A dichotomy of power, alliances, rumor, prophecy and so much more.

Will keep you glued to your seat! Gritty and fascinating. The characters come to life.

I have heard the siren’s call and I am here for it! Love this new work by Tabatha Drake! This series promises intrigue, twists, spice, and mayhem. This fresh take on the gods of Olympus has me hooked. Also… I’m a little in love with Candy… just saying…Skylar and Adrian’s story is just getting started!

This story was so good. This usually isn't my genre, but if Tabatha writes it I'm reading it. Adrian and Skylar are two strong characters that I'm practically already fallen in love with. It's hard to say much without giving it away, but I will say I am so excited to read the next book. This is definitely unputdownable and I devoured it. Absolute must read!!

This is a book I find hard to say what I
didn’t like because I found it was an absolutely
