4.5 ⭐️ A corporate girl, who ends up suffering financially due to an unforeseen family issue ends up becoming an escort.! One Sunday, she gets a new client who ends up leaving her deaf, dumb, & blind by giving her her first big “O.” When she returns to work on Monday, she finds out that the man who put her into a coma like sleep on Sunday, is her new boss! Unable to control the attraction he has for her, he books another appointment to offer her a proposition..!

Ellis & Journee, to me, had one of the best developed relationships written! I loved how it started and how it finished!

I feel that we need a book to get further into Desmond & Karmen!

I do not usually read romance novels but something about this description caught my attention. I surprised myself by how much I enjoyed this novel. I read it all in one day.

The characters were endearing and I did find myself interested in the outcomes. The dialogue was authentic and I laughed out loud several times at the way the characters related to each other.

There is quite a bit of spice and some crude language so be warned if that is not your thing.

The book ended in a way that I could see the author writing a sequel. I would happily read more about these characters and their lives.

So glad I picked this one up.

🥰🥰🥰

Ellis came in and said aht aht, hang this little side hustle up. I’m not going to hold you, I thought this was going a TOTALLY different way from how that prologue started 🥴😅. So much happened but it still lead to a HEA. I hope Dez and Karen are next!!

This book was my first by this author. Bravo Ms. Valentine. The info in the prologue was a great touch. It helped to throw you off and reel you in at the same time.

This is the story of 2 broken people who are deeply searching for love and acceptance. They connect in the most unlikely way. However, when God is in the mix, there's nothing strange about it.

There should definitely be trigger warnings at the beginning of this book. Heavy topics are mixed in with this spicy thriller. Topics such as PTSD, mental health, miscarriages, abuse, death, and stalking are mentioned throughout this book. Proceed with caution if these topics are too much for you.

I'm about to start book 2. Happy Reading! 📚

I wanted to love this book, but it just didn't really do it for me the way I wanted it to. I liked the concept and thought it would be going somewhere, but it fell a little short for me. The "talk, dark and handsome" typo in the beginning kind of threw me off, and then I kept noticing more and more. I'm usually not a big stickler for this because lord knows I'm just as illiterate as the next person. But, it came to a point where it was just too distracting. I am usually good about ignoring them but I found myself continuously having to reread over and over again, just to make sense of the sentence. That kind of deterred me from reading and I feel like my connection with the book kind of fell off midway and I was just finishing it just because. As I mentioned, the plot was there and I think this story has great potential.

Awwww great storyline 💕

This was my first time reading a book from this author and I absolutely loved this story! I loved the storyline it wasn’t too mushy just a beautiful romance story. Those two characters definitely deserved each other. The author showed them both in a fragile state. Sometimes you don’t need this killer of a man but just an all around protector.

Adventure with a twist

My first read by this author was enjoyable and engaging. The story line had a few twists. It's written in a way that makes me think there's more to come. I look forward to it, if that's the case. The one thing I didn't care for were the written out song lyrics and it was more than one section. I still enjoyed the plot and that's why I gave it 5 ⭐s.

For loyal family we will move earth and heaven to assure security. God will block all that may have been a lesson, reason or season that wasn’t meant for a lifetime.
