Baby for My SEAL Fake Fiancée

Rate this book
That cocky Navy SEAL's proposal to be his Fake Fiancée caught me off guard.

He’s my brother's infuriating best friend. We hate each other.

But it’s an arrangement I couldn’t refuse. His CO wants him to settle down to get promoted, and I want to go to medical school.

Amid the charade on and off the base, I can't deny the chemistry simmering between us.

With his piercing blue eyes and a jawline sharp enough to cut through steel, he is the definition of masculinity.

The more we play, the more I see the fiercely loyal, protective, and vulnerable man beneath his tough exterior. He guards deep-seated PTS symptoms from past deployments, leaving me yearning for an emotional connection I crave.

Can we overcome his inner demons and forge a bond we both want or are we doomed to be forever divided by his past?

Just as I start to envision a future with him, this deployment could be our last.

The thing I love most about Dakota Nash is the fact she never fails to deliver an amazing book. There has not been one book this author has written that I didn't love. Dakota never lets me down and I am always excited when I see her latest work has been published. The plot for Baby for My SEAL Fake Fiancee was original, it was as fun as it was sweet, it was interesting, exciting, filled with intensely hot intimate moments and best of all Dakota breathed life into some wonderful characters. She made it impossible not to love both Daniel and Sophia which allowed me to feel a connection with them and their story. Daniel is a sexy alpha male who is determined to do whatever it takes to advance his career with a promotion at work. He is loyal, protective, caring, sweet and has no interest in a committed relationship. Sophia is a beautiful woman who has plans that include becoming a doctor. Sophia takes her job seriously and works entirely too many hours preventing her from having time to invest into a serious relationship. The most important thing about making everyone believe your fake relationship is real requires a little bit of chemistry. Lucky for Daniel and Sophia there is more than enough chemistry between them to light up an entire football field. These two may believe they don't like one another, but their instantaneous attraction and connection will soon prove that just isn't the case. Dakota had my attention from the minute I began reading and kept it throughout the entirety of the story. I found it impossible to put this book down and read it in one sitting. If you are a fan of Dakota's then you won't want to miss this one. Never read a book by her then this the perfect opportunity to discover a new author.

Daniel and Sophia grew up together as her brother Jay was his best friend. There was plenty of tension and animosity between them with the horrible pranks they pulled on one another. After not seeing each other for years Sophia runs into Daniel at base after being stood up for a date. This works out perfectly for Daniel as he sees an opportunity to prove to his Captain that he is responsible and ready for the promotion he is after. The minute Daniel and Sophia's lips meet there chemistry is unlike anything either of them have experienced before. His plan of a fake marriage will benefit them both. Daniel gets the promotion and Sophia gets to go to school to become a doctor. These two quickly fall into a friends with benefits dynamic in their fake relationship. Try as they may it quickly becomes evident there is more going on between them than Daniel or Sophia could have ever imagined. Can they both let go of their pasts and find a happily ever after they never saw coming?

This story starts off hot and gets right to the point and is quite refreshing. The author's writing style is fun, easy to follow, and getting immersed within the story. I love the banter Sophia and Daniel have. They may have thought they hated each other (or at least Sophia thought so) growing up but there most definitely had to have been something else there as well...at least a good share of the time.

Daniel and Sophia have known each other pretty much all their lives as they grew up right next door to each other and Daniel was and still is Sophia's older brother Jay's best friend. Jay and Sophia are very close but it's fun to hear how they gave each other such a hard time growing up, like most typical brothers and sisters do.

Sophia is an independent, good-hearted person who is working super hard in her nursing career still finding it difficult to reach her goal of attending medical school at the current rate she's going.

Daniel has achieved great success in his military career as a Navy SEAL but finds that his next promotion is just beyond his reach. The military seems to have taught him so many good habits and Sophia is surprised to see how mature, organized, thoughtful, and even handy around the house he's become.

Some forces try to get in between the two and their fake/not-fake relationship but ultimately no one and no natural disaster can penetrate this budding love story.

This is a happily ever after, enemies to lovers, brother's best friend, fake engagement, accidental pregnancy story about a hot Navy SEAL and an ER Nurse. It's a page-turner, feel-good, and steamy romance that is good enough for the five-star review rating I'm giving it!.

I love a book that captures your attention the minute you start reading and Dakota Nash delivers.
From the first line it captivates your interest, for when Sophia bumps into Daniel and he sweeps her up for a jaw dropping kiss, Sophia is left speechless! When Daniel explains that he was putting on a display for his Captain, Sophia is intrigued ...cos man Can Daniel Kiss!! She forgets why she hates him, as he is her brother, Jay's best friend and growing up knowing him was unpleasant. When he proposes a fake marriage to get his promotion and she gets to study for free, her Medical degree, she agrees.
But chemistry and fate has other ideas as they set out on a fake relationship with benefits! Unable to keep their hands to themselves they find themselves sleeping together more and more and it soon becomes a need that neither can deny!
This book is hot, with all the feels as both Sophia and Daniel grapple with the beginnings of real feelings. Feelings that neither want! So they both go into denial, as this is the best way to handle real feelings, right?!!
An overall great read with a great HEA! A worthy 5 star read.

This is a well written book which will capture your attention and keep you turning the pages until the end. Daniel is a SEAL who wants a promotion, but although he has the necessary military skills he has to prove that he is emotionally mature enough to take on the role. He unexpectedly meets his best friend’s sister, whom he has known for many years, and although their past relationship has not been particularly good they end up agreeing to a fake relationship so that each of them will be in the position to fulfil their biggest wish. Will they succeed in achieving their goals, or will their fake relationship deny what they both want. I enjoyed this book, and look forward to the next by this author.

Good story! Daniel had grown up with Sophia as his best friend’s annoying little sister and the aggravation was mutual. When they meet again, they find themselves in a position to help each other by committing to a fake relationship. I loved how the “mature them” found they had a lot in common and found a lot of satisfaction in taking care of and supporting each other. They both had some tough emotional situations thrown at them but they both accepted help to deal with them so they could be a better person for each other. A really satisfying story and very steamy!

He is a Navy Seal trying to get a promotion and to do it he has to show the CO that he is a family man. When he propositions his best friend's sister Sophia, she thinks he is crazy because they can't stand each other but she wants to attend med school and with his GI bill she can do so, and it begins a fake marriage. As these two spend time together feelings begin to grow between them, and Sophia finds herself wanting more. Will their fake relationship turn into a real one that leads them to happiness in the end. This story had me connecting with these two as I cheered them on to finding happiness.

One of the best brothers best friend / enemies to lovers I've read

Awesome work from Dakota Nash with Daniel & Sophia's story. He's cocky, infuriating & best friends with her brother. He wants to get promoted but has been told to settle by his CO. She wants to go to medical school. He proposes a solution that is win win for both of them. She see's him. This fake relationship is starting to look a lot more real. Will there be tears & shattered hearts or a HEA?.

The way that they run into each other after all this time was shocking and unforgettable. They both want something that getting married would give them. Little did they know that just being together would be worth it more. They both have struggles to work thru and communication is a key. These were wonderful characters and I would love to see what happens next for them. Also a story about her brother would be a great read.

This was an incredibly well-written romance and love story with quite a bit of erotic action interspersed to bring out all the feels from you while you are glued to this well-crafted short read.

I loved this enemies-to-lovers happily-ever-after ending. It was not an easy ride, but the drama added to the storyline, and the flirtatious banter and the love that enfolded was thoroughly enjoyable reading.

Complicated Journey

A fake relationship with her brother's best friend Daniel puts Sophia in a precarious situation. Can it turn to something more real and allow them to have a happy ending? Getting there will be a complicated journey as others will make it more difficult. I enjoyed this read!.

Daniel and Sophia's Story

This is a sweet love story about a fake engagement that becomes real. The characters are both in stressful jobs that have a negative impact on their lives. Fortunately, they deal with it and learn to love each other.
This is one of the author's better books.
