Monologues for around Passiontide, Holy Week and Easter.
Characters closely and not so closely connected with the story of the Passion and Easter reflect on the events as they see them. Contemporary and historical ideas mingle with the biblical narrative. - Tiberius Caesar sends Pilate off to Judea - Judas is cross about the waste of perfume - a radio reporter describes Jesus' arrival in Jerusalem riding on a donkey - the High Priest considers the risks and plans ahead - John is deep in thought as he walks with Jesus and the disciples to the garden - the soldiers and disciples give their account of Jesus' arrest - late on Easter Day, the High Priest wonders what will happen next.
A series of short talks and sermons as monologues given in 2013 at St John's Digswell and Digswell Village Church, Hertfordshire.
Keith Suckling is Priest in Charge of St John's Digswell and is the current Warden of the Society of Ordained Scientists.
