completed: chapter 125
i absolutely loved this. athanasia was executed by her father in her previous life and now that she's back, she's trying to find a way to survive. somehow, in this life, athanasia got closer to her coldblooded father and they actually develop a father-daughter relationship. it's heartwarming to see how protective he became.

I don't know why but the whole Anastacius and his unaliving trip made him somehow sympathetic. At first I already had a bad feeling about him, then it got proven and then at the end of this book I started to like him again. The real evil is someone I wouldn't have expected and this volume was action rich. Not a single boring moment. Just disliked a bit how the backstory got repeated shown as we already saw it in the past chapters, but I know that it had it reasoning since Athanasia was unconscious and saw her and Claude's memories flashing before her eyes. I liked the little detail of us getting to know the real reason why he used black magic and it was kinda sad. Definitely thrilled to read the end of this whole book!

Copy/paste review for all the volumes:
I read this series online and now need to collect the physical copies. I’m curious if the epilogue/side stories will ever come to be as the creator notes stated that they would but I haven’t seen anything.
As a review of the completed series and not just the one volume I think this sits as a 4.5 ⭐️ if I could give halves.
I enjoy the twists/explanations of reincarnation into a novel verses regression plot that’s more similar to something like Dr Elise.
This one was tagged as romance along with the childcare isekai trope but honestly any romantic storyline for the female protagonist is very secondary to the plot and I personally don’t feel is concretely settled at the end of the main story. As the main plot is that of the FL and her relationship with her father I don’t think we need a solid romance. In something like Father I don’t want this Marriage that is a very good balance between her romance arc and her father daughter relationship arc. While there are a lot of similarities in the father/daughter arc between the two stories, this one doesn’t put as much weight on the romance but then the majority of this story is told while she is in the body of her childhood self. It would be icky if there was more weight on the romance.
I’m not sure why there couldn’t have been a more concrete conclusion to the love triangle as the story definitely favours the one ML as the end game but alas we are left with a “who knows what the future will bring” scenario.
As for the father/daughter relationship I think the backstory/explanation for his cold behaviour that resulted in her death in the novel is well explained and a justifiable one as me the reader to accept why I forgive him in the current life as redeemable. I think others I’ve read have the FL forgiving the father (or other family member) too easily because it wasn’t “them” that was mistreated in the previous “life” when I’m left unsatisfied because it looks like the only reason they are liked and survive in this life is because of luck or they made theirselves interesting or useful when really the father is trash and should just live the kid regardless. Thankfully we get more in this one.
I do wish that we did get a bit more in character development from the father when the plot switches him from cold to caring. We get the why and even some of his awkwardness as he adjusts and while HE doesn’t know that his actions led to her death in the novel he could be a bit more remorseful about the first 5 years of her life in this life where he was nonexistent. Its still good though and worth the read

Te amo Lucas por siempre estar a lado de Athy y aunque te saque canas verdes la proteges tanto 😭❤️ por eso soy #TeamLucas no me equivoqué con él, necesito que queden juntos porque aaaaahhhhh amo tanto como se llevan. Por otro lado, todo mejoro y finalmente todo está volviendo a la normalidad, espero que Magrita se quede en el palacio o no pierda contacto con Athanasia. 🥺
Ya mero llegó al final, no estoy lista para acabarlo y despedirme de mis personajes favoritos y de esta joya de historia. 😭

Tan cerca del final y tantas emociones que hay en este volumen. Amo como los personajes han crecido hasta ahora, las relaciones que hay entre todos y lo tierno que es el manhwa, estos capítulos dejan listo todo para el volumen final ✨
Aunque la resolución es mucho más sencilla para lo grande que parecía todo, eso fue lo único que me dejó esperando más.

Ich muss sagen, dass das wohl mein Lieblingsband der Reihe ist. Es ist so viel passiert und so viel wurde aufgedeckt. Athanasia hat ihr Leben für ihren Vater aufs Spiel gesetzt und Claude konnte heil zurückkommen. Und man hat auch mehr aus seiner Perspektive, seine Vergangenheit, gesehen. Und wie er zu seinem Bruder stand. Was nun wirklich mit dem Typen passiert ist, wie sie das Problem gelöst haben, finde ich es super, dass Claude Athanasia ein wenig die Zügel überlassen hat, um es auf ihre Weise zu versuchen. Und man hat wieder gemerkt: das Gute siegt. Positive Gefühle sind stärker als die negativen. Und alle, die gerettet werden musste, konnten gerettet werden. Wirklich toller Einsatz von allen, denn ansonsten hätte man den Typ nicht hinters Licht führen können. Und Lukas war einfach mega witzig in seiner Art und seinen Reaktionen, obwohl er so mächtig ist. Auch Jeanette und Athanasia haben weiterhin eine sehr gute Beziehung, was mich für beide wirklich sehr freut. Diesen Band habe ich so in mich eingesaugt und auch wenn ich über das Ende sehr glücklich bin, kann ich gar nicht fassen, dass ich nur noch einen Band zu lesen habe, bevor die Geschichte zu Ende ist. Eine klasse Reihe, die ich jedem empfehlen kann.

Surprisingly, things seem to be working out well for Anthy, even if she did still get an ear full from multiple sources when it came to her plan to save Claude. With the exception perhaps of her sympathy for Jeanette's situation, and how clueless the other girl seems to be, most issues seem to have resolved in a manner that she can at least be satisfied with if not actually happy about. Of course the highlight is that Claude not only finally remembers her, but seems to at least have some level of understanding and acceptance when it comes to his own feelings now. We even get a glimpse of her mother along with some more family history, which rounds out the emotional side of things nicely. Even Lucas seems to be rather pleased, even if he does rib Anthy a bit about how he at least temporarily seems to be filling in as her personal on-call healer for all this chaos.

Athanasia se prepara para salvar a su padre, Lucas piensa en que si algo le pasara a ella estaría tan enfurecido que podría matar a todos y prender fuego a todo el imperio, se despide de Felix y le encarga darle la noticia a Lily por si algo sale mal, él intenta persuadirla pues teme por su vida, pero no hay marcha atrás, le deja una carta a Ijekiel y se despide de la otra, Felix la despide inclinándose ante ella, dándonos gran deja vú de cuando lo hizo por primera vez a sus 5 años, yo de verdad amo a este hombre, la ceremonia comienza y al hundirse en la nada es guiada por quien mantenía vivo a Claude pese a su condición, Diane, su preciosa madre, y su encuentro es tan bello, la abraza, besa y consuela, le hace saber que esta orgullosa y cuanto la ama, pero tienen que separarse, no sin antes encargarle agradecerle a Lily y Felix por cuidarla, mientras tanto Lucas piensa en como le tomo siglos acabar con sus emociones, hasta ahora que no soporta la idea de perder a Athanasia, y cuando la maldición se rompe y solo ve despertar a Claude, casi se vuelve loco, afortunadamente Athy solo duerme, CLAUDE REGRESAAAA, Athy sueña con el pasado de su padre, desde interacciones con su hermano, lo mucho que adoraba a su madre, y más hasta que tomo la corona, permaneciendo con el corazón cerrado, hasta que conoció a Diane, su vida se llena de luz y colores por el tiempo que pasa con ella, hasta que se sabe de su embarazo y maldición, una vez muere y usa magia negra para olvidarla no hay más que vacío infinito, hasta su primer encuentro con Athy, la luz regresa y la maldición que mantenía reclusos sus sentimientos comienza a agrietarse, aun piensa en matarla, pero ansia seguir viéndola, hasta que el mana se hace presente y Athy vomita sangre, la maldición se rompe por completo y Claude se entrega por completo a su hija, el pensamiento de que haría cualquier cosa por ella nos lleva a su explosión de mana, al que acudió aun cuando podría morir, pues su vida era poco importante comprada a su hija, finalizando los recuerdos con un Claude lleno de pánico ante la idea de perder a su niña.
Athanasia despierta y por fin ve a su padre, que no se ha apartado de su lado, él habla de como preferiría la muerte antes de haber perdido sus recuerdos, y gracias a Diane (quien parece haberlo regañado mucho) sabe lo que paso en su ausencia, por lo que también se culpa de que la hayan tratado mal, y por primera vez ambos son sinceros, Athy le hace saber cuán herida estaba cuando la alejo, y le exige a su padre hablar con verdad, a lo que Claude le pide perdón entre lágrimas, diosesssss, llore.
Athy le dice que lo odia y entre gritos ella le menciona las cosas malas que hizo, mientras él se disculpa una y otra vez y le ruega que deje de llorar, ambos abrazándose, waaa, que escena, (siento que es la otra mitad de la platica en la novela, al final nos la dieron, diferente, pero funciona, amo), Felix se alegra de ver a salvo a Athy y Claude se burla de él, pues al despertar lloro jajsj.
Pasamos a Claude queriendo tomar cartas en el asunto respaldado por Lucas y Felix, quienes desean castigar a todo aquel que le faltó al respeto :3 namas me falto Ijekiel, pero Athy los calma y pide que lo dejen en sus manos, se descubre la identidad de Lucas, y Felix le cuestiona su ayuda, y aunque da razones, todos sabemos que solo lo hace por Athanasia, Ijekiel enfrenta al tío, funcionando como cebo, pues esta ayudando a Lucas a acercarse al man, AJSUAHSKUA, LOS GUAPOS SE JUNTAN, Lucas enfrenta al tío y dioses qué guapos todos en esta batalla, Athy reúne a todos los nobles y aunque uno intenta meterse con ella, Lucas lo hace callar pues están en su torre, dejando en claro que él está del lado de la princesa, quien expone la sangre de su padre que esta limpia de magia oscura, y luego la del tío que usa magia negra, llevándolo a los calabozos y a sus seguidores a ser investigados, adoro a los nobles que siempre estuvieron a su favor, teniendo pensamientos bien lindos de ella y viéndose orgullosos ajsja.
Los días pasan, el rumor de esparce y muchos buscan disculparse con la princesa :/, Claude aun no se mueve y pasa mucho tiempo con su hija, la felicita por su trabajo, le dice que es hija de papá y que puede ser mejor que él :3
El tío intenta matarse, Lucas lo ayuda por petición de la princesa, a petición de la otra y cuando despiertan el sr Blanco y él se enfrentan, el sr Blanco preocupado por la otra, quien sigue de babosa, pero Athy le hace ver que el sr realmente la aprecia, en fiiin, equis esos, de regreso a los bonitos.
En una reunión uno de los que insulto a Athy llega a donde están y la comienza a insultar de nuevo, haciendo que Claude se moleste y demuestre que ya esta completamente recuperado y solo estaba disfrutando las vacaciones con su hija, le golpea la mandíbula, lo aplasta con su mana y rompe una de sus manos jskajka, daleeeee, Lucas llega y se mofa de la situación, diciéndole que por eso no necesitaban una barrera con Claude cerca, Athy le pide que lo pare, pero se niega y ella interviene, Lucas vuelve a encarar al malo, pero vuelve a huir, Claude es puesto al día con toda la situación y van a reunirse con la otra y su padre, tras palabras y verdades, el tío llena de mana a la otra para explotarla y matarlos a todos, pero Lucas lo para, diciendo que aunque Claude y Athy pueden sobrevivir, la cosa no y eso pondría triste a la princesa AJAJAJA, y recordando una platica con Athy donde propone disculparse, pues todo el desmadre es porque Lucas no quiso aceptar al niño como discípulo jsjsj, él lo intenta.
Aunque parece que el otro no lo va aceptar tan fácil.
En fiiiiin, amo el regreso de Claude, de sus disculpas y aunque ansiaba ver sangre :((, amo verlos de nuevo juntos. <3

But I can't lie, Lucas was kind of a red flag, but nvm, I love how they both ended up together.
I feel sad for Ijekiel too (TT) He's the type of a gentle and soft boy I've ever seen (I was attracted to Kiel more than Lucas at first, hehe). I hope he'll find his own princess and reach a happy ending!

This has what I like. The reveals, twists, and resolution were all so satisfying to read. I wish I had a father like Claude. And I also was surprised of the romance between Athy and Lucas. If in the previous volumes/season it's just a mere suggestion or hint, in this one, it got way more focus and screentime and I love every second of it.

I am actually so surprised. I hadn’t expected that big of a plot twist to happen, and I also wasn’t expecting a HEA that I would be happy with, but this knocks out all my worries.
Everything that I was anxious about was quickly cleared in this volume and I am SO SO happy.

The fear in Lucas’ eyes and his whole demeanor change every time MC is in danger or is being breathed down by an “earthworm” is so cute. His red eyes makes it 100x more effective when he glares down at those who thinks they can manipulate the MC. I swear, I fell for him like many moons ago.

This is such a cute story. There is a romance but I like that the story line is focused on the relationship between Athy and Claude. I love how cute the relationship is between the father and child. Athy is also smart, especially on how she use her knowledge about the story to her advantage.

Το ένα plot twist μετά το άλλο. Έχει πολλά πράγματα που γίνονται το ένα μετά το άλλο και δεν έχουν αφήσει αρκετό χορό για περαιτέρω εξηγήσεις. Είναι ένα καταπληκτικό volume, δεν λέω, αλλά θα ήθελα να μας δείξει μερικές σκηνές με την Jeannette και πως τα βλέπει εκείνη τα γεγονότα.
