Aidan's sharp suits and serious expressions belie the warmth he reserves for his daughter, Grace, and eventually, for Lacey herself. Initially intended as a stopgap measure in Lacey's life—a means to support her family and plan her next move—the dynamics between Aidan and Lacey quickly evolve beyond the employer-nanny relationship.

The romance between Aidan and Lacey, though seemingly swift, is underscored by thoughtful introspection about their respective roles and desires in a relationship. Lacey grapples with the weight of her familial responsibilities and her burgeoning feelings for Aidan, while Aidan emerges as a mature, generous partner who embraces his emotions openly.

The inclusion of Grace, Aidan's spirited daughter, adds a delightful charm to the narrative, infusing moments of sweetness and levity into their evolving dynamics. She was a wonderful addition to the story.

A nice and at good speed put-together story, with that warms the heart feeling at the end. A book that will do well lounging on a couch or as your holiday beach read. Still able to put it down if needed, but anticipate continuing as well.

Billion Dollar Grumpy Dad by Eve Madison

Aidan owns a sports team, he's a single dad and needed a nanny. Lacey was leaving a career in law and needing a job so she became the nanny for his daughter Grace. Grace instantly loved Lacey!

I really enjoyed this story, it was a quick and easy read. Loved the main characters and the side characters like his friends and of course the couple of small villians trying to cause some issues.

I did feel like the love between Aidan and Lacey was a little quick, not a lot of build up but that's ok because their love was so good and they needed each other more than either knew, and being a shorter book it had to happen quickly to make everything else happen! ❤️

I'm very excited to read the rest of the series and can't wait for the next book to come out.

I ended up really liking this story. Aidan and Lacey's road to love seemed a bit quick to me, but they really thought about what they each bring to a relationship. And more than just the money thing, too. Also, I appreciated Lacey's dilemma concerning what she wanted with Aidan and her overwhelming responsibilities as the one her family leaned heavily on. It was a difficult position to be in.

Aidan's handling of things on his end was very mature, generous and endearing. He wanted to be steady force in her life; a real partner in every way, and had no problem with his feelings and expressing them. And honestly, Lacey didn't either. I liked that about both of them.

Little Grace added the sparkle that only children can! She had no problem speaking up. Her relationship with both adult was sweet and fun.

A nicely put-together read with a lovely ending for all.

Hot & Wonderful Read

Wow, this is definitely a hot and wonderful read.

Billion Dollar Grumpy Dad, is a new addition to my ebook library. And this has been a wonderful way to meet both Aiden and Lacey. AND Grace. Their chemistry and their relationship is truly incredible. And I agree sparkly unicorn pancakes are better when shared. This is a Definite must read.

This the first time that I have ever read anything from this author, and based upon what I just read… I’m looking forward to meet Talia and Marcus.

When Aiden Sullivan, billionaire sports franchise owner, hires Lacey Alvarez to be Gracie’s nanny, little does he know this spitfire will bring out the best in not only his daughter but also begin to melt his icy persona.

Scandals surround Aiden. First, his estranged father buys into an opposing franchise, alienating his son even more, and the press uncovers his budding relationship with his daughter’s nanny. Billion Dollar Grumpy Dad is a delightfully sweet Contemporary Romance and the first book of what is sure to be an engaging series.
MFC Lacey Alvarez has just been hired as nanny for the daughter of MMC billionaire Aidan Sullivan, and there is no denying the attraction that simmers between these two people from different worlds.
This story was nicely written and I enjoyed the humor, romance, spice, friendships, family dynamics, and personal vulnerabilities that all melded together to craft a warm and heartfelt read as it followed their path to forever.

This is an enjoyable workplace romance with lots of angst, glamour and friendships. Lacey starts work as nanny to Aidan's daughter. Lacey struggles to balance her hopes and dreams with her family's needs and expectations and Aidan also has business and family stresses and fears which complicate their relationship. The main characters are likeable and the friend characters on both sides are fun and interesting. I liked how Aidan and Lacey helped balance out the other.

The back and forth in this story is absolutely hilarious the principal characters are so so good you will feel part of their rocky road to love. The steamy moments are just…steamy for our greatest reader pleasure. I highly recommend this book.

This book is a great start to a new series by author Eve Madison. It was very well written and entertaining. It had a great storyline and characters. Lacey and Aiden story was sweet and sexy. I liked that the Author didn't prolong their feelings for one another. No obstacles so to speak of. Just 2 ppl getting to know each other and fall in love. However I don't understanding how Aiden caught his Dad in a compromising position thinking he cheated on his Mom. However it's revealed later in the book he didn't cheat. Oh well I can wait to read the other books in the series.

Flaws? what? who knew that characters are really down to earth even with money. ? Hmmm Lacey has made an instant connection with Gracie, the daughter. But the bantering is entertaining and the hesitation that is enough to make you want to eat something sweet or healthy waiting for the seriousness to take hold. Aiden, Aiden Aiden.
So much and such much to take a breath. good read.

3.5 cute and angsty stars!

Lacey and Aiden are very likable characters, and so were their respective groups of friends. The story flowed smoothly as the relationship developed. There's a good balance between dialogue and internal thoughts. When they finally give in, the smexiness is pretty good too. Dual POVs and an HEA, more stories to come as the friends find their loves.

Billion Dollar Grumpy Dad is the first book in Eve Madison’s A Seattle Single Dad series. Lacey has recently left her job as a lawyer and Aidan needs a nanny. They both have situational stressors: Lacey’s change in careers is unplanned and Aidan has a host of complications. In addition, their personalities just don’t mesh; he is all business while Lacey enjoys the lighter side of life! Can this pair of opposites find common ground or maybe even love? Aidan and Lacey made a great pair and a fun couple; they completed each other with their quirks and attitudes. I really enjoyed this entertaining and well-crafted story and totally look forward to the next one in the series.
