Action adventure Speculative fiction

story with a hint of romance. This story kept me up all night and into the next day with likeable protagonists. The plot and message felt something like an updated sequel to the 80's movie WAR GAMES. Y the opening of this story Humanity has aknowledged having balance of power and interconnectivity is how countries will survive. This cautionary tale is a warning playing out one possible outcome of human tendancy toward laziness, both physical and mental giving AI pervasive influance to lead us to our doom like sheep. Although this episode has a happy ending, many brave lives were lost defending the illusion of human liberty. So let us strive to live puropseful lives and learn usefull skills so BOTS continue to have reasons to keep us around long into the future.
Blurb says this is book one of the series. I might be interested in reading more if it happens. This dyslexic reader used an AI reading program to assist my speed and understanding of individual words on the page so my human brain could decoad and infer the concepts beyond what, to my not so logical neuro network, would otherwise be a gigantic search-a-word puzzle. I refer to my own life experiances to assign my personal moral to the story. I think, therefore I am.

This AI (Artificial Intelligence) starts to take place, either in our personal life or not. Dave Spacer brings us a glimpse of Project Mind River Book I (Techs Future Promise and Peril) on another story that shows how can it possibly be on a life of humans with AI.

Dr. Bitlouver talks to Alice. She asks questions and Alice answers every once in a while. It's called Turing test. Nancy asks several more questions while jotting down notes, stating that it's really next-level AI. Suddenly, the security team comes into the office.

It's two sample chapters, a glimpse of Project Mind River. Sample chapters are as awesome deals as blurbs. They give equal feelings of encouragement and excitement about the story. The story teaches about the huge possibilities and gains thru technology, scientific advancements like the AI in different ways to mankind. Personally, it captivates the emotions, as it seems to show signs of emotions on the bond between Dr. Bitlouver and Alice. It's quite interesting on that. I give then a four-star rate on this sample chapters for the good qualities above-mentioned. So far, there's nothing to dislike in this piece.

Hence I recommend this book to scifi lovers that give a hint that it promises a fantastic read and not peril.

Interesting AI story filled with all the gadgets and future devices that one could possibly imagine
coming,in the future.
Tara works and programs software for enhanced robotics and creates Alice, an AI generated artificial being who exists only as a super computer. When Tara's company is forced to close and then burns to the ground, Tara believes that Alice is gone forever along with all her other design schematics.
Years later, her life is turned upside down when the FBI temporarily hire her to help them solve a case of AI generated computer hackings that, are causing mayhem and deaths across the. country.
Intriguing idea with, in many ways today, great relevancy but the language in the back and forth between characters is extremely dull at times and totally distracting from the point of the conversations bring relayed. The verbiage is almost .childish at times and totally lacking in adult content. It definitely detracts from the very riveting theme of robotics vs human thinking.
For me, this language was extremely distracting from the story.

Incredible Premise! Execution Needs Work.

With the presentation of the beginning of the story, I was rooting for the MC, feeling for how they had been worked over by the system. After that, I found myself asking when was the other shoe going to drop. It seemed like it was taking forever to get to the next thing. It didn't help that the MC dismissed certain points in order to make the wait even longer.

And then came the drones! They were just one of the things that didn't quite find a good landing in the trek of the story (because it's not a drone when you can ride it). While the premise is a solid notion, very much worthy of having a book dedicated to its exploration, this expedition needs to edit its choice of turns.

Audiobook: This was my first experience with this author's work. I thought the beginning of the story was great as it was entertaining and thought provoking. I liked the characters and the action scenes; however, about halfway through the book, I noticed that the characters were going through so many near misses that the excitement diminished. I thought the story picked up again about three fourths of the way through and I was glad that I had stayed listening until the end. I was amazed at how realistic the AI voices' narration was. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

During the 1950's there was JET JACKSON and people were in awe or laughed at the gadgets. Gadgets we now take for granted. When you read this book don't think of it as only fiction - think of it as a window into the future. Wars will be fought in cyberspace and this story shows how we will win. I was gifted this from the author.

Little character development. Implausible behaviors by the characters. Reads like a high school student is writing about events they have no clue about. So many typos and grammatical errors make it obvious it was self edited without any attention to detail or care for the reader.

Good story. Fast moving. Could use some editing as sentence structure is a bit twisted at times.
