Barely twenty-four hours after tracking down a brutal serial killer, Special Agent Journey Russo is thrust into a different kind of hunt. This time, the stakes are much higher. Because the prey are innocents.
And all too human.
In less than two weeks, two families are found murdered in their homes, each victim fatally pierced by arrows. A mysterious feather left on each body serves as a haunting calling card, pointing to a new, sinister serial killer—one eerily reminiscent of the tragedy that decimated Journey's family.
As Journey and her partner track down leads on the distinctive murder weapon, a horrifying reality takes shape. Several types of arrowheads at the scene indicate four potential killers working together. Hunting together. Playing games with the victims that they're guaranteed to lose.
When a third victim is found, his heart pierced with an arrow, the hunt is on. But can Journey and Lucas narrow down the suspects and stop the vicious marksmen before they find their next target? Or will they get caught in the killers' crosshairs?

This series is fantastic. I could not put the book down. It made me feel like I was part of the story in searching for the killers. This is a must read series.
SA Journey Russo and her partner SA Lucas are facing another case, one involving Arrows and ... Can you solve this case as you go? I started in one direction and stopped, started again and stopped again. I felt I knew the answer before reading half the book. But no, it took of fast paced in a different direction and left me feeling I'd been run over.
I love Mary Stones books in the fact that you are turning different directions looking for the answer. Does anyone else feel this way too? I really enjoyed this book Journeys Aim and can't wait for the new one coming soon.
Again the question, are serial killers born or made? This teenager may meet both criteria. Amazing lack of ability to care and yet blames everyone for any failure because he is too perfect. That describes the young killer who is totally absent any ability to feel wrong. He is charismatic enough to draw others to him and that is a lethal combination. This book was hard to put down. Some false leads but as the profile begins to gel you get involved in the hunt. I didn't care much for the first book in this series, but these have gotten better with each new entry. It is an involved plot and it you like this genre; you'll like this book.
Absolutely love the Journey Russo series. The characters come to life and even with the clues you do have to think to come up with the conclusion. Journey, her partner Lucas, and Journey's sister help give different prospectives on the investigation. In this one, Journey and Lucas are called to the scene where a family has been killed in a very unusual way. It seems they were killed by arrows. As the pair investigate these murders, it seems these are not the only ones. With the help of Michelle, Journey's sister, they find clues that lead them to two sets of suspects, who are the real murderers, and do they have anything to do with the Chosen?
Journey is a fantastic character and this book had some doozies in the villain department. The misleading paths of the bad guy was fascinating and the connection the overarching cult The Chosen was a perfectly placed Easter egg. The ending had a great cliffhanger and conclusion at the same time. The team dynamic is fun as it is really Journey and her partner, then Journeys sister and the medical examiners. I have enjoyed that this series has not had the de facto romantic relationship within the team, but this book started alluding to one so that had me a bit cringey. Otherwise I am excited for the next case and to see how this series continues to progress!
Journey and Lucas have a group of people killing randomly with a bow and arrow. They start off looking at a foursome of wealthy businessmen but find that even though they placed first in the local archery tournament they didn't meet the profile like the 2nd place team of 4 wealthy male teenagers. The leader is charismatic and a narcissist, all are wealthy and entitled. Journey and Lucas interrupted their attack with explosives at a food bank, one was killed and 3 arrested.
We follow Journey and Lucas Solving a series of family murders. They are murdered with bow and arrows. Come to find out that it is a group of people killing these families. After much searching and putting clues together they figure out a group of older teenage rich boys who are talented in archery are the ones killing the families. Some higher archery God like concept. The kids are setting up to make a big bang like blowing up a food bank. But journey a Lucas figure it out beforehand and stop them from doing it. But not without a gun fight vs bows. All in all not a bad story.

I just devoured this book, sweating all over and thinking about how twisted can some people get. Excellent thriller. I was so convinced about the identity of the serial killer, that it hit me very hard, when Mary and Amy switched the rails. Oh my! And I love to learn more about characters and the activities, I did not experience, like the archery in this case. I’m ready for more. Chosen, what’s next?! Wow. Scary but amazing.
Journey and Lucas are called in to investigate a series of murders involving arrows. Researching finds them with not two but three in the recent months. Tracking down the culprits takes them to the prestigious and wealthy side of the city where no one is innocent. Can they locate them before the strike again?
Journey’s Aim the third book in the Journey Russo series is a winner! Once again the authors Mary Stone and Amy Wilson have created a novel with suspense that keeps building and building! The story has masterful twists and turns. The more you read the harder it is to put down. I highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!
A great thriller by Mary Stone and Amy Wilson. Series is starting to grow on me. This book was better then the last one. Kept me wanting to find out if Journey and Lucas could catch the arrowhead serial killers. Lots of twist and turns, a page turner. Looking forward to the next book in the series. I am an ARC member and this is my honest review.
Journey seems to be growing on me, each book is better than the last! Hot off solving the last serial killer case, Journey & her partner, Lucas, gets a another case involving blue collar workers killed with arrows. This story has so many twists & turns & will keep you guessing til the end. You will not be disappointed in this one.
This is the third book in the Journey Russo series. I enjoyed this very well written addition to a very good series. There’s a lot of drama and suspense. There are plenty of twists and turns as Journey and her partner try to solve the mystery of people being murdered by bow and arrows. The plot is very entertaining.
I’m 100% engulfed with your books, Mary. I will be honest, I didn’t let myself get involved with your villain story. I like your characters and love their drive to get there job done. Journey is well in there with the rest. I’m anxious to see where you take me next. Thanks again. The dapster.
Journey's Aim (Journey Russo FBI Mystery Series Book 3) By: Mary Stone and Amy Wilson. Special Agent Journey Russo and Special Agent Lucas Sullivan have their hands full with the recent killings. I like the way the story pace flowed, the suspense, the chase was intriguing. These killers believe they are unstoppable but not on Journey and Lucas watch. Great story with such a rush ….
There are more than one series that I’ve lost count, I’m reading at least 3 or 4 and this one here doesn’t disappoint keeps me on the edge of my seat hoping that it’s solved quickly but of course with all the twists and turns it seems like it never will be. On to the next.
Great read. A job well done by Journey and Luis. When parents don't have the desire and spunk to guide and raise their children trouble is coming their way. It's seems so easy to protect them as they grow tank trying to help them when they screw up.
ANOTHER GREAT READ IN THIS SERIES. THE STORYLINE IS ORIGINAL AND GRABS YOU AND WON'T LET GO TILL THE END. PLENTY OF TWISTS AND TURNS TO KEEP YOU TURNING PAGES TILL THE END. WELL WRITTEN WITH GREAT CHARACTERS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THE OTHERS IN THE SERIES.
Journey and Lucas have a different type of killer to hunt down. Two families have been murdered by bow and arrow shots. It appears there are maybe 3 or 4 people behind these senseless murders, But the “why” has the team baffled. Mary and Amy have a winner in this story.
What happens when someone starts murdering people arrows? Journey and her partner are following red herring clues until the FBI profile gets involved. They rush to compile the clues and stop the perpetrators before they can kill again. It is another close call.
OMG. This is a book you can't put down. I loved this book. This book is full of suspense and intrigue. I can' wait to read the next book in this series which I am going to do right now. I highly recommend this book and series.
As always Mary Stones books are full of mystery and I wasn't disappointed. Kept me up long past my bedtime. When the killers were finally revealed, it was an OMG moment! Can't wait to start the next Journey Russo book!
It is a surprising race to the finish and ends with a new murder case. In between you have Journey and Lucas looking for serial killers. Choice of weapon - bow and arrow.Let's play a game... Great job. Thank you. On to book 4.
The story about the method of killing was interesting. The reasons for the killings was disgusting as there are a number of reasons that people may need help. Anyone liking mysteries would like to read this story.
An extremely well written book, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I couldn't put it down, had me on the edge of my seat at many points. Looking forward to reading more of Journey's 'adventures'
