I'm not usually a huge lover of paranormal stories but I really enjoyed this one! And the ending really intrigued me and I can't wait to read more about their work together particularly around Phaedrus.
The occasional editing error here and there occasionally made me have to reread a paragraph or sentence but that's very much expected for a smaller/newer writer!
Really excited to read more of Etchell's work.

The Cubicle at the End" is a paranormal thriller that delves into the mysterious disappearances of young girls from a seemingly ordinary nightclub toilet. Even as a first novel, the author weaves a tale of the supernatural, suspense, and the unexplained, creating a gripping narrative that keeps readers on the edge of their seats. Strange happenings, such as the appearance of leaves, give hints to an otherworldly presence.
I particularly like the dynamic between Scott and Rosemary. I found myself rooting for them to overcome obstacles and find out what happened to the missing girls.
The conclusion is satisfying, providing closure to certain aspects while leaving room for the reader's imagination to wander into the shadows.
Fans of mystery, the supernatural, and psychological thrillers will find this book to be a compelling addition to their reading repertoire.

A fantastic paranormal/mystery! As soon as I read the first chapter, I was immediately hooked. Girls are going missing in the nightclub where Rosemary the cleaner works. Scott, the plumber is called in to check the plumbing, but little does he know he will be joining Rosemary to find the girls in a paranormal realm.

Loved the originality of the plot..think its the first time I've read a story that involves a toilet cubicle, yet it totally works. A great pairing of characters too, I felt they needed each other.

Looking forward to see what's next for Rosemary and Scott. I was completely shocked when I heard this is Guys debut novel. I can't wait for the next book. Highly recommended, especially if you like creepy reads!
