At the top of the food chain, Prince Jazdon was used to things always going his way. Until he met Finn, a human whose scent alone sent his dragon thrashing against the shell of his human form, its roar a scorching fury. Not of rage, but rather the desire to devour the tempting morsel in his arms and own it.
Finn thought he was only going to Iceland for a short vacation. Little did he know that within twenty-four hours of his arrival he’d be running for his life from huge Arctic foxes and being confronted by a naked angry man who literally appeared out of nowhere. Who was this gorgeous man and why was he glaring at him so intensely?
Unexpectedly injured, Finn is taken to Jazdon’s home, a rocky, secluded and mysterious complex where everyone seems suspicious and hostile toward him. As Jaz and Finn’s relationship grows more heated, Finn learns the truth about who Jazdon really is and panicked, he tries to run from it, but can he run from the secrets he’s uncovered? Secrets that will make him question everything he thought he knew about himself—and that will change literally everything.

Extremely confusing book. Things just seem to happen for no good reason and people just roll with it.
Jazdon and Finn go from basically being super suspicious of each other to fucking. Both prefer topping but for some reason Jaz is the only one who does it throughout the book?
V unclear how two males in a seemingly non-mpreg universe are supposed to help increase birthrates, unless these gay fated mates will have sex with a female green dragon and/or go insemination route?
Idk. If it hadn't been a quick short read, I would've DNF
I think it's more 3.5 than a 4 but I reserve the right to change that
So I loved this story..and yet I didn't. I easily finished it in one day but there were just some things that really got me. I was really confused for some of this book and part of that was it almost seemed when it was Jaz's point of view that it'd switch to Finn's for a paragraph or couple of sentences unless there's an aspect of the fated mates that wasn't explained. I also stopped in my tracks when they were at the ceremony and it was stated they were fated but Jaz never had that conversation with Finn. There was also some contradiction going on and views points changing drastically and for some of that it's okay because Finn is in a new world, full of dragons but it happened with finding the song Finn's mom sang to him and Finn saying how it says right here that this guy is guilty! While Jazdon is saying they need more proof. Go to the next chapter and Jaz is saying we're going to kill the Greengile king because he did this and Finn is saying No, we don't have enough proof.
So like I said. While I really liked it, there was just some things that could of been a bit better/made my mind run but I would pick it to read again if I knew what I was getting into.
I like both these authors very much but this seems very amateurish. There so real explanation throughout the book, Fin turns into a dragon in a blink of an eye, has no real issues with it, they act the next day as if what s happening is totally normal. Fin starts thinking ab his people as if he were the new king when at that point they knew nothing ab his royal family. This was very choppy.
This was a good start to what I hope is a new series. I do think Finn adapted a bit too quickly to his circumstances and his relationship with Jaz was also on speed dial but overall, I really enjoyed the story.
What a great new series! Fierce dragon prince, a young man who doesn't even know he's a dragon. Fated mates, and attempted murder all wrapped up with an intriguing story.
I enjoy books with dragons and this one didn't disappoint. I'm looking forward to seeing how the author will expand this world. I would love to see more about the MCs and supporting characters.
What more can I say, dragons, fated mates and insta-love. This was a great read that cleanses the brain for a new book. Overall rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 Emotional engagement 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
It’s a great read, though I felt the author left important bits out of the story, though I will have to read the others in the series to see if my questions will be answered
3.5 stars. I didn’t absolutely love this, but didn’t hate it either. It was just missing that zazz that I know both authors have as I’ve enjoyed both their books.
This book suffered from inconsistent characters, continuity errors, and pointless details. I’m not sure I like Jazden or Finn all that well. I won’t be continuing the series.
