Crossroads, co-authored by two individuals with distinct backgrounds yet equal determination, illuminates the paths to success forged by embracing life's challenges and choosing the path of integrity. This captivating narrative interweaves the life stories of diverse individuals, offering insights into goal-setting, the quest for significance, and the courage to pursue greatness over complacency.

The chapter on discovering one's innate gifts, passions, and life mission resonates deeply, while subsequent sections on perseverance, fostering a positive mindset, and nurturing trust-based relationships are replete with compelling anecdotes and practical advice. Each chapter concludes with an invitation to introspect and set actionable goals based on the principles discussed.

While some initial segments may veer into overly enthusiastic motivational territory, the book swiftly finds its stride, emphasizing the transformative power of effort, resilience, and embracing discomfort as catalysts for growth. Personal anecdotes, both from the authors and others, enrich the narrative, offering relatable examples of applying these principles in real life.

As a testament to its impact, the book's influence extends beyond its pages, with readers eagerly sharing copies with loved ones facing pivotal life decisions. Whether navigating the transition to adulthood or seeking to recalibrate life's trajectory, Crossroads serves as a beacon of guidance and inspiration.

From high school seniors embarking on independent journeys to individuals of all ages and walks of life, the wisdom imparted in Crossroads resonates universally. Its emphasis on choosing the path of moral clarity and personal growth reverberates as a timeless message, offering invaluable guidance in an ever-changing world.

41-1/2 stars! There were some places in the first couple of chapters that were a little "too motivational" for me (Hard for me to qualify what I mean by that other than, instead of encouraging or motivating me toward effort & change, certain hardcore motivational cliches just make me want to roll my eyes and think, "this person has not lived as many years/had the same circumstances, perspectives (etc) I have - I see it differently/don't relate to this). Once I got past those couple of spots, I totally loved this book. I relate with the actuality that growth takes effort, work & often uncomfortable situations & trials to overcome. We don't progress by staying in our comfort zones all the time. I also enjoyed how the author told personal experiences & those of others and then applied them to the principles & concepts of this book. Personal examples always help to make things more clear and to learn from others' experiences.

I read an ARC e-book of this book , provided to me by Cedar Fort Publications. All opinions here are my own.

Insights to motivate the reader to choose the harder path

Too many want the instant gratification without the work. They want a high paying job without going to school or choosing an easy major.

They don’t see the hard work and sacrifice that others made in order to have a nice house, etc.

This is a wake up to many that you need to choose where you want to go and then make the hard decisions to get there. They lose everything in a house fire and have no insurance because it costs too much, then they want everyone to give them the things they lost because they choose to not be responsible.

It was well written.

The two authors of this book combined their own stories along with the stories of several other individuals to show us how to choose the road less travelled or the hard Right. It's simple to coast through life but as we learn from the examples of others it can help us to make better choices. A wonderful book full of motivation.

I received an ARC Advanced Reader Copy from the publisher however the opinions are my own.

"Choose the Harder Right" is the subtitle of this book which is made easier by following every day adjustments in our lives as outlined so well in this book.
Randal gives you easy steps which do not make you feel like you have to climb Mount Everest to achieve.
My favourite section was "Act As If", which gave me a new perspective on how to reach my goals.
I received an ARC copy but all the opinions are my own.

Wonderful stories to help understand each lesson presented in each chapter. The lessons are detailed, thoughtful, & informative. Many of these lessons could help teenagers be prepared for their life of becoming independent & choosing what they are going to do with their lives.
I plan on using the lessons here to help my children be prepared.
I recommend to those who are looking for motivation to take the leap & jump after their dreams.
