To Have and to Scold

She just has to get in, get out, and get on with her life. But then Beck Billingsly wedges his steel-toed boot in the door…

Dallas Olivia Cardon is moments away from being crowned senior wedding planner at the big-city firm of her dreams when a misunderstanding leads to her getting fired.

Rushing off to lick her wounds at her new job in Willow Cove, Dallas figures a few months on the beach couldn’t hurt as she tries to rebuild her portfolio and her reputation. She even meets a hot, flirty guy on her very first day in town. Maybe this temporary position might actually be a little enjoyable?

Maybe not.

Beck Billingsly is Willow Cove’s most eligible bachelor, but he’s not interested in settling down. His past has taught him that commitment equals heartbreak. He only wants to run his hometown construction company, serve the people he grew up idolizing, and play too much beach volleyball.

So when a case of mistaken identity ends up putting him at odds with the new event planner, he finds her no-nonsense, git ‘er done personality frustrating.

Unfortunately, they have to figure out how to build a seaside event center for the wedding of the year without killing each other. Even more unfortunately, their verbal spars leave him wanting more, and he cannot get her out of his head.

It just may be impossible for him to let her go.

Deb Goodman’s obsession with the written word started at age three, when she realized the old-timey newsprint wallpaper in her family’s bathroom had actual words on it. The only problem? By the time she learned to read a couple of years later, the wallpaper had been replaced with something else—boring, non-worded wallpaper—and to this day, she still doesn’t know what it said.

Now, she and her husband and four children live in Utah. They love sports, music, and doing slightly insulting, pretend voices for their little shorkie, Mavis.

Deb writes funny, small-town romance that you won’t need to shield your kids’ eyes from. Billionaires, friends-to-more, enemies-to-more, cowboys, fake relationships…there’s something for everyone here!

Writing lovey dovey books comes naturally to Deb since, to her, there’s nothing better than reading and writing about how two people fall in love.

“I’m just saying that there’s something in the Dallas-Olivia-Cardon magic and no amount of common sense will change my mind on it.”

Beck and Dallas give me hope that I can somehow learn some HGTV and develop an eye for decorating through them. With a workplace romance lurking and an enemies-to-love vibe permeating the pages, this cute Coastal Kisses romance swept me away.

This is Book 3 in the series and while it can stand alone, it’s fun to read how each story interconnects in this small town and I loved the cameo of Prince Harry the llama. The sweet romance bursts through the friction created by a mistaken identity and two opposite personalities trying to cooperate in getting an event center ready to go in time for the first booked celebrations. This author created delightful scenarios that made me smile and swoon.

Love has a way of overpowering supposed wishes and desires, finding unsuspecting couples and allowing them to fall victim to its magic. Goodman has a sweet winner with this one and this series is a cool summer treat not to be missed.

“You gotta do what you gotta do.”

“I’m not at all ready for anything this little firecracker might throw at me. That doesn’t mean I won’t absolutely love to hate every second of it.”

This delightful story is book #3 in the Coastal Kisses Series. It easily be read as a stand alone but, this is a multi-author series, that has interconnecting characters... and even a few crossover scenes, so it’s extra fun seeing them connect, including Prince Harry, a llama. You can look forward to opposites attract, a slow bubbly romance, sweet sparks of chemistry, fun endearing characters/relationships, delightful laugh out loud humor, and sweet swoony romantic moments. Weaved throughout this story is the amazing power of love. It seems that love has a way of finding you, even when you aren’t looking for it, or expecting it! This book is worth the fun read!

“You’re you. You’re just...you. And that’s what I love the most.”

-I give this story 4.5 stars!-

This story was really cute and a fun summer read.

Deb did a great job blending opposites attract, enemies to more, with a workplace romance.

Dallas is a wedding planner, and Beck runs a construction company. They’re working together, getting an event center ready to open on time for its first booked wedding.

With their different personalities, there’s quite a bit of conflict between them. There’s also a growing attraction, but both have been hurt in previous relationships and they try to keep things professional.

The more time they spend together, they begin seeing a different side of each other, and start letting down their guard and fall hard for each other. The journey getting there was a fun and sweet one, with an ending that was so satisfying.

My favorite thing about the book was Beck. He was such a sweetheart and was always there for so many people.

This is the third book in the Coastal Kisses series, and can be read as a stand alone.

I received a copy from the author, but a positive review was not required.

Dallas, type A personality, meets Beck, the laidback local, in this sweet beach town romance. It’s the 3rd book in the Sweet Coastal Kisses series.

Dallas is my type of woman; organized, a perfectionist and driven to succeed. As the new wedding planner in town, she ends up working closely with Beck, the general contractor renovating a local historical mansion into a new wedding venue and (spoiler, lol!) gets her HEA she never thought she’d have.

This is the 6th book I’ve read from author @debgoodmanwrites and I loved it just as much as the others. Thanks so much for having me on your ARC team!

To Have and To Scold by Deb Goodman is the 3rd book in the multi author Coastal Kisses series but can be read as a standalone. This is the only one (so far) that I have read from the series, and I have already added the others to my tbr. This book is told from a dual POV, Dallas Olivia Cardon, and Beck Billingsly. Dallas gets let go from her dream big city job in Atlanta as a wedding planner due to a mistake with cakes. She goes to Willow Cove to rebuild her portfolio & reputation until everything dies down in Atlanta. Beck runs Willow Coves only construction company, who is renovating the local historical mansion into a new wedding venue. He has to work closely with the new wedding planner in town to get everything ready before the start of the wedding season. I absolutely adored this book and can not wait to read more of this series. Willow Coves sounds like the perfect little beach town with the friendly local Llama, Prince Harry, running around town, getting into a bunch of shenanigans.

🦙 Prince Harry
💜 Opposites Attract
🦙 The Banter 😍
💜 Mistaken Iddenity
🦙 Wedding Mishaps
💜 Overly dramatic Golden Retriever

* Never before has a hug had levels of meaning to it beyond just the surface stuff…. Very unlike a mama turtle to her babies. More like a joey to his mama kangaroo. All warm and comfortable.
And good. We joeyed. Is that a thing? It should be a thing.

* "You sure you don't want to go into the field of professional hugging? You'd make a killing."

* “I’m not at all ready for anything this little firecracker might throw at me. That doesn’t mean I won’t absolutely love to hate every second of it.”

* “You’re you. You’re just...you. And that’s what I love the most.”

How cute is this summer series? This author brings us the story of Beck and Dallas. Dallas is the wedding planner and Beck is the guy remodeling the venue. Each of them need things to go smoothly. It’s important for their careers.

Enter the llama! This town is filled with quirky characters and plenty of heart. Dallas has a plan and when Beck messes with it she gets thrown off her heels. Give in girl. It’s Beck. And he’s so thoughtful. And good looking. And made me smile. And well…sigh.

I’m also partial to remodeling stories because I consider myself an expert after watching hours of Home Improvement. Haha. Ok. I have hours of real DIY shows too. See? Clearly an expert.

Anyway… this is just such a fun read and I enjoyed all the wedding parts. The entire ending was just so sweet and hello epilogue. It rolls like a Hallmark movie that I would watch on repeat so read it alone or check out the others in the series. Don’t miss out on the fun!

Can Dallas fit in with Beck’s life and ditch the heels? Will Beck be able to stop being annoyed with her and get the feels?

I absolutely loved this third book in the Sweet Coastal Kisses Series!! I love Beck and Dallas so much! I love how they were so resistant to love at first after being hurt before but the more time they spent together they slowly started letting down their guard and falling for each other! My favorite part in the book has to be when Dallas walks in on Beck hard at work on the mansion he and his team is renovating to be a wedding venue and he is got Benson Boone’s Beautiful Things blasting and he signing it and doesn’t even notice she is there hearing him till she starts singing it also and then they start singing it together and that whole scene was so swoon worthy!! I also absolutely loved that Prince Harry the cute lovable silly Llama made another hilarious appearance at the beginning of the book! I enjoyed seeing the characters like coop and King from the first to books pop up in this book! I love that about interconnected stand alone books! I highly recommend this series and can already see me re-reading these books every summer!!

Favorite parts:
- Meeting Prince Harry
- Meet cute and wall on the beach
- Working in the mansion at night
- Dinner at Sullivan's
- Teaching Dallas how to play volleyball
- Lila's Wedding
- The Epilogue

This story was so much fun! I love the enemies to more with some forced proximity thrown into the mix.

I love their meet-cute and how sweet it was, but then when they have to work with each other they they end up being more enemies than friends. It was great seeing them learn to work with each other and in turn learn to see each other in a different light.

This books is the 3rd book in the Coastal Kisses series. It can be read as a stand alone.

Thanks to the author for the advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

This is a fun, sweet read that can be read together or alone in this series. To Have and to Scold has opposites attract, enemies to more, workplace romance, wonderful characters, hilarious moments, and Prince Harry the llama. Let's not forget about him because you never know what he's going to do. Beck and Dallas have been hurt in previous relationships, and I enjoy the chemistry between them as they work together on an important wedding. Great summer read.

Such a fun summer read! Dallas is a prominent wedding planning in Atlanta who made a mistake after finding out her ex boyfriend was not dating her cousin. She got shipped off to Willow Cove and work for the Mayor. She has set a goal of six weddings. Unfortunately the wedding venue is being built. The main contractor Becks is a cutie who Dallas says she has no time for. While their worlds keep colliding…she may change her mind!

Tropes:
Workplace romance
Mistaken identity
HGTV style Reno wedding venue
A llama
Beach romcom

Loved this! Couldn’t put it down!

Wedding Planner moved to a small town and hired to book weddings for a new venue at the beach that is being restored by a local construction company. She's forced to work closely with the Construction Manager and they are up against the clock to get the venue done in time for the first wedding. “”You ready for this?” she asks. I’m not at all ready for anything this little firecracker might throw at me. That doesn’t mean I won’t absolutely love to hate every second of it.”

I finished this book in less than 48 hours. If that doesn’t tell you how much I loved it, let me add more! 😉

I had such a hard time choosing just one quote to share because there are so many to love! The back and forth, banter-filled interactions between Dallas (yes, it’s a girls name) and Beck were fabulous! I laughed out loud multiple times, friends. Multiple times.

I enjoy Deb Goodman books. I find her stories fun. This was the first I've read in this series and it stood on its own well enough. I loved the llama and the small town feel. In this opposites attract trope, I was rooting for the main characters. Enjoyable read.

Content: kisses only, loss of a friend/neighbor (in the past but grief comes up a couple times)

Welcome back to Willow Cove! In this next installment, we get to see Beck again and meet Dallas. After Dallas is accosted by Prince Harry 🦙, Beck ends up helping Dallas unwind on the beach. All I’m going to say about that is that I love hugs & they are so underrated! Dallas & Beck don’t exactly exchange names so it’s a big shock when they walk into work on Monday and realize they’ll be working together for the foreseeable future!

This gave me Strawberry Fields for Never (@katewatsonbooks) vibes— they hit it off immediately but then once they realize who the other is, they dislike each other. That undercurrent of attraction is always there though!

I liked how the small town vibes of Willow Cove allowed Dallas to relax a little and see the bigger picture of life. I absolutely loved Beck’s relationship with Leo, and the way he mentored him. It was so sweet! It was fun to watch Beck and Dallas soften toward each other and realize that they were better together than they were on their own.

This one releases TOMORROW, July 19th!

Favorite Quotes:
🦘 Never before has a hug had levels of meaning to it beyond just the surface stuff…. Very unlike a mama turtle to her babies. More like a joey to his mama kangaroo. All warm and comfortable.
And good. We joeyed. Is that a thing? It should be a thing.

‼️"Sometimes I wonder if the picture I have of my future is holding me back from having the future I'm actually meant to have."

😏 "You sure you don't want to go into the field of professional hugging? You'd make a killing."

🤔 And if staying comfortable prevents me from living the fullest life I can, is that actual comfort? Or is it fear?

😍 "Are you all mine?" she whispers.
Whoa, baby. "I want to be." I wait to step to her. I have to give her space and time to figure out what she really wants. She lowers her cup just enough to bite her bottom lip. "It's what I want, too. I'm in love with you, Beck."

❤️ “…whatever you decide to do, wherever you go and whenever you go there, I want to be by your side."

This is another great one in the Sweet Coastal series. Dallas Cardon is a wedding planner in Atlanta. She has her sights set high until everything comes tumbling down. When her boss temporarily lets her go, she ends up in Willow Cove. Her boss graciously contacted her friend in Willow Cove who wants Dallas to work with her as a wedding planner. What can be more fun than planning weddings? The fun is about to begin.

Beck Billingsley has a hometown construction company. He has been tasked with repairing and renovating a seaside event center for the mayor. He hopes this job will help him get the job he really wants which is adding on to the local YMCA. His first meeting with Dallas is one for the books. Meet cute does not even begin to describe it. When Beck and Dallas are thrown together to renovate the wedding venue, the sparks are going to fly. Time is short as it needs to be ready in a just a few short weeks for the first wedding.

Dallas has a take charge personality. She is a little bossy and a perfectionist in her high heeled shoes and fancy clothes. Beck is man who works with his hands and does not mind getting dirty. He loves to make something old look new, but he is not used to dealing with someone like Dallas. Beck is a sweetheart of the first order. The way he cared for a local teenager who lost his father was so so touching.

As Dallas spends more time in Willow Cove, she finds herself relaxing and enjoying life a little more. Beck gives her the title of professional hugger. (You will have to read the book to understand that one.) I loved both of these characters with all of their quirks and differences. My favorite character in this series, Prince Harry, the llama, makes an appearance in the first few pages. He is an escape artist. Fear not. He is not finished being the center of attention. He always steals the spotlight and leaves you laughing out loud. This was a sweet, clean romance set in a idyllic setting with a fantastic cast of characters.

Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Reader’s Notes:

– this is part of a series, but can be read as a stand-alone

– this is told from Dallas & Beck’s points of view

– it is mentioned that a character’s friend passed away from cancer (past event)

Review:

I loved this story, especially with cameos from King’s llama & Beck’s friend group! I loved seeing Dallas go from the no-nonsense city wedding planner to a more relaxed version of herself in that position. I loved that she & Beck met prior to their first workday together. It set in motion feelings that I wanted them to regain so badly after things went downhill. I loved getting to know Beck & his heart for the community too. I loved that he wanted to do his part and make things better for everyone, but especially for the youth like his neighbor friend. Getting to see him interact with this particular friend was especially heartwarming & I loved that he had such a great relationship with him and his family!

Summary:

Dallas had a five year plan, but when a slip-up derails it, she finds herself travelling to Willow Cove to get it back on track. Dallas just needs to do the best she can planning weddings there for her boss’s friend in her small town until the heat dies down & allows her to come back to the city. And despite not being able to start off on the right foot with majority of the locals due to an unexpected encounter with it’s unofficial mascot, Dallas finds that Willow Cove isn’t so bad. Especially if the locals are like the guy she met after that disaster…

Beck isn’t looking to settle down after having been burned before & his fellow Willow Cove residents took it upon themselves to try and cheer him up. He just wants to continue to grow his family’s construction business and help the community. But when he first meets Dallas, Beck considers getting to know her better. Until the next day proves that he shouldn’t when it’s discovered that they’ll have to work closely together, and Dallas wants to control the aspects he’s in charge of…

This was such a fun story! It stars quickly with a hilarious meet-cute and continues the relatively quick-paced romance and small-town story. I loved seeing more of the town and meeting more characters. Willow Cove is adorable and I love visiting it through different character’s eyes. Dallas and Beck were so fun. Both had strong opinions, but also so genuinely cared about people. I loved Dallas’s passion for her work and her determination. She was such a go-getter and had trouble letting go of what she thought her life should be like. She had to let go of some things to find what was best for her. Beck was so sweet! I loved how he took care of those around him and his sense of responsibility.
They both admired the other for their work, for their passion, and their care for others. I loved how as Dallas and Beck got to get to know one another more, they saw more of the other’s personality, character, and history. Even though, it was a pretty quick read, their romance didn’t feel rushed. I loved how they supported each other and encouraged one another, even if they did clash at times!
All of the side characters were so much fun! I loved Beck’s relationship with Elliot and Leo, you really saw his protectiveness and care. I loved also getting the hints of other characters and Prince Harry especially! Overall, this charming romcom is full of fun, sunshine, and romance! It has only kissing.

“Sometimes I wonder if the picture I have of my future is holding me back from having the future I'm actually meant to have."

Another sweet romance by Ms. Goodman that I thoroughly enjoyed! A case of a mistaken identity in the beginning that became an opposites attract trope. Dallas is a top wedding planner in Atlanta area that made an unfortunate mistake that had forced her boss,Shoshana,to relieve her from her job, and to get back in good graces with the company, her boss sends her to Willow Cove to work for a dear friend to recoup and have some time away. Upon arriving, Dallasis “greeted”, not by her choice, by Prince Harry, the town’s ornery llama. It was that “greeting” that established Beck “Billy” Billingsly and Dallas’ meet cute and that scene was one of my favorites of their beginning relationship!

Both characters are fun, down to earth, and experienced some heartache and trials. I found how characters’ relationship developed and evolved entertaining - their banter was enjoyable as well as personal growth (hence the quote at the top). They had great chemistry, plenty of swoony kisses, and I appreciated that it was not an insta-lust but one that took time to get to know one another along with attraction. Beck was a very masculine, hard working man that played volleyball and made his character totally swoon worthy!!

To note - this is part of a multi author series, but can be read as a stand-alone. I received an advanced copy of this book and all my thoughts and opinions are my own.

Nothing spices up a book like fresh llama spit!  At least that’s what Deb Goodman thought, and it works as a perfect hook!  I have been meaning to read some of her books for a while now, but finally caved and had time!

Prince Harry’s (the llama) unfortunate victim of his affection is Dallas!  Dallas is new to Willow Cove; hence the blood curdling scream she let out when spat on!  If that wasn’t enough, running into her ex and former favorite cousin was insult to injury… but the evening got better when Billy took a bit of pity on her and took her on a lazy walk on the beach!  They never exchanged personal information other than their names and capped the evening off with a hug!

Beck is the construction foreman who must work closely with a new to town wedding planner to make sure things are done right in preparation for the mayor’s daughter’s wedding!  Much to his surprise (and Dallas’ too), they will be working side by side!  With her bossiness and determination to get in/out of town with minimal muss and fuss, whatever attraction Beck might have had for her started to disappear!

Somehow, they put their differences aside to make the wedding something special!
Honestly, going into this I had no idea what to expect, but that made this read that much better!  This book is the perfect addition to the other ‘Sweet Coastal Kisses’ multiauthor series – all that and wet paint puppy paws on subflooring!  Had to throw Ace a bone as he was a fantastic side character!  Sorry it took me so long to read something by you, Deb, but I loved it!

You are sure to love and laugh with the opening of this book. Prince Harry, the llama, once again escapes his enclosure and greets newcomer, Dallas Cardon, to Willow Cove. Dallas is here to redeem her reputation as a wedding planner after her huge wedding cake mixup in Atlanta. This small coastal town with all of its amazing people is just what Dallas needs gain back her confidence.

Beck Billingsley has been hurt in his last relationship and is not looking to start again. But, when Dallas has to work with him and his construction company on the new wedding venue, it’s going to be hard to hold to his resolve. As the deadline approaches for the mansion to be completed and the first wedding scheduled, Beck and Dallas find their relationship growing and developing in ways neither one of them expected.

Things to enjoy:
pets
dual POV
professional hugger
beachfront mansion
the Death List
volleyball lesson
wedding beach fiasco

This is the third book in the Sweet Coastal Kisses series. It can be read as a standalone, but you'll enjoy reading the other books. There are characters from the other two books that are in this story, and it's nice, but not necessary, to know their backstory.

I voluntarily reviewed this complimentary copy of the book. All views are my opinion in which I was not required to write a review.

Dallas and Beck are a riot. Dallas is very relatable, - a motivated, organized workaholic wedding planner with a 5 year career plan. Beck is also very relatable - he is a busy successful business owner, but is able to "stop and smell the roses" (or in this case, play beach volleyball) with family and friends (including a teen group at the local YMCA) . Mixing these two together is SO much fun!!

Their meet cute is delightful - full of mischief from a llama (I see you Prince Harry!), mistaken identity...but also carefree, fun, and the best 8 second hug ever! Then sticking them together on a big project with a looming deadline...the tension, the banter, the wit, the acceptance, the respect, the volleyball lesson and subsequent injury, the painting outfits, dual POV of the first kiss, a fruit and cheese plate scene, and best of all...the hand kiss that is OUT OF THIS WORLD good (yes, you read that right!) and you have a book that is too good to put down.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book from cover and cover and highly recommend you shoving all other responsibilities out of the way so you can just enjoy the deliciousness without interruptions! Deb Goodman has delivered yet again and I can't wait to re-read this again.

Thank you to the author for the complimentary copy. All thoughts expressed are my own.

Book Review 📚
💒 To Have And To Scold by Deb Goodman

Dallas Olivia Cardon is moments away from being crowned senior wedding planner at the big-city firm of her dreams when a misunderstanding leads to her getting fired. Rushing off to lick her wounds at her new job in Willow Cove, Dallas figures a few months on the beach couldn’t hurt as she tries to rebuild her portfolio and her reputation. She even meets a hot, flirty guy on her very first day in town. Maybe this temporary position might actually be a little enjoyable? Maybe not.

It turned out that the hot flirty guy was Beck Billingsly, the guy in charge of construction at a site that would be home to weddings in the near future. They soon started butting heads on his construction schedule and whether it'd be done in time for the first wedding of the summer.

I loved the progression from frenemies to friends as they worked together to finish everything in time. Beck opened himself to a possibility of more with Dallas despite having being heartbroken six months before.

There was still the question of whether Dallas would settle in Willow Cove or go back to her former job in Atlanta which was her initial goal. I loved how that was resolved in the end. I enjoyed this book 😄

To Have and to Scold is the third book in the Coastal Kisses series. This is a multi-author series with interconnected characters that can also be enjoyed as standalones.

Let's be honest... Prince Harry (the llama) is the absolute star of this series! If there was any doubt about that, this book will absolutely prove it--- he gets this story started off with a great laugh (and keeps them coming too!) that really sets the tone. Beck and Dallas have fantastic chemistry right from the start, but both have been burned before and aren't looking for a relationship... not to mention, she doesn't have plans to stay in town long. But as they spend more time together, they can't stop their attraction from growing. Dallas is such a perfectionist, and I definitely related to her on that level... and I loved seeing her start to loosen up a bit as the story goes on. These two were so sweet together and I absolutely enjoyed every minute with them! It was the perfect blend of romance, humor and summer fun!

To Have and to Scold is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language.

**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.

To Have and to Scold
Deb Goodman
Book #3 in the Sweet Coastal Kisses Series

This was such a sweet small town romance. It started off with a special appearance from Prince Harry. 😅 You’ll have to read to find out who that is.

Dallas, a wedding planner from Atlanta, found herself in small town Willow Cove after an unfortunate incident with a wedding cake. Dallas is determined to return to Atlanta as soon as possible. Then she meets a mystery man her first night out on the beach. He also just so happens to be Beck Billingsly, the man she has to work alongside with.

This was such a wholesome read. Seeing how Dallas came to love the small town of Willow Cove when she was so against it at first was perfect. The relationship between Dallas and Beck evolving from dislike to love was adorable. Their chemistry was undeniable and how they worked through past hurts was a great addition to the story.

There is something about an interconnected series. I love seeing the previous characters appear in the newer books. Deb did such a great job at tying in previous characters from the first two books.

Thank you so much @debgold for the opportunity to read and review this book.

This series is available on KU, make sure to check it out!

Love is a Powerful Feeling -
Beck had given up on relationships after his recent heartbreak, but he felt an inexplicable pull towards Dallas, that he tried to fight. Dallas’s plan was to lay low in the small town, whilst working with Beck to complete a project, but their attraction for each other grew the more time they spent together. Unfortunately, the closer they got only frustrated both of them, as Dallas’s plan was to return to her previous job in another state.

As luck would have it, when it was time for Dallas to return, she realised she no longer wanted her old life, as she wanted a forever with Beck, who was truly elated with her decision. This was a fantastic, slow build romance story, that drew me into the story and had me hooked from the first page. Deb Goodman took me on an adventure with interesting characters, small town gossiping busybodies, interfering family members and a storyline that had me eagerly turning the pages. It was a worthwhile read, that I am happy to recommend.

I received an advanced copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Dallas has taken a job as wedding planner in Willow Cove in the hope of rebuilding her career, after losing her previous job after two stupid errors. But she never realised to venue was still a work in progress and that she'd have to deal with the handsome contractor, although his grumpy demeanour and his easy going nature doesn't fit with how she likes to work. Beck takes one look at Dallas and knows she's just to cityfied for their small town, the way she dresses and the extremely high stiletto heels are just so not footwear for a beach town. Can these two really work together especially when they are both disillusioned about love. Will Dallas really be able to rebuild her career and keep to her five year plan. This is a lovely story and the characters around this sweet town are all so endearing, and the chemistry between the two main characters builds so well throughout the story. Can dreams and plans change or is it to big a risk to take. I always love Deb's books and this hits the mark perfectly 💕 plus the added bonus of Prince Harry who totally steals the story 😂😂
