This is the second volume of "Dosanko Gal wa Namara Menkoi", or "Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!".
The first volume was mostly composed of standalone chapters, but in the second volume, the introduction of a second Hokkaido gal and the Valentines chocolate arc made it for a pretty captivating reading.
By this time, this title has pretty much become one of my favorite manga series and since it's still ongoing, I get to catch it weekly on the offical Manga Plus app by Shuiesha.
Review for the first four volumes! I already had my eye on this one for a while, I think I saw the anime at least one ep but didn't like the accents/way the characters talked so I gave up. Haha. Thankfully the manga is silent, and thankfully I got MangaPlus so I can read the series. And I have to say I am having oodles of fun. Yes, it is your typical plot, boring male lead who would never get such big opportunities and then gets the hottest girl(s). But you know, for once I didn't mind. The gal/girls were so much fun and I loved their different personalities. Minami is definitely my favourite (she is so cute and adorable) and I am definitely shipping her with Tsubasa (who is also stepping up a bit as the story continues). I love all the events happening throughout the 4 volumes. From a kimono date to Valentine's Day to karaoke to fishing to skiing, and more! There is never a dull moment. Plus, I love love the fun facts about Hokkaido we get at each chapter + what the characters tell us in the chapters. Oh, and Minami's mom is fab, fang-tan forever! Also that tanned girl we meet in chapter 33, shark fangs! Hope she doesn't interfere too much though. Wasn't too fan of the misunderstanding, but glad it was resolved. Sayuri, I wish you luck, and I like you, but FuyuXTsuba is endgame. And I Love that the art is improving, at first the proportions were off, but now they are much better. Just one thing, meh to grandma. I hope she learns to chill/relax a bit, because LORD ><.
Continues the exciting adventures and this time around the Valentine's Day and lot more it was another nice addition to the story and now there's a third gal so things ar going to get more interesting and I for one will keep on reading.
I have always loved comics, and I have I can. I love comics to bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and hope always to love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I just want to Keep on Reading.
