This book was addicting and I’m ready for more! Loved it from the beginning. Lorelei & Mac are a fun couple to read. Characters are great and it won’t disappoint.

Mac Truth is the 9th book from Jewelz Baxter's Voodoo Troops MC series. It's an opposites-attract romance that will have you laughing throughout it. The character's dynamic with each other is so hilariously funny. I can always depend on Jewelz's writing when I'm in the mood for a lighter MC book that still has a complex storyline but isn't as dark.
Mac returns to work after being off a week to find a stranger in his shop at his receptionist's desk. She immediately got on Mac's bad side when he told her to leave and she didn't. That stranger was Lorelei, the niece of his employee Dutch who came in to help while Mac was gone when his receptionist quit. Lorelei has had a bad few months and men are the enemy now thanks to her ex-Anthony who ruined her career. She was an independent woman who didn't need a man and was determined to start over and rebuild herself. Getting on Mac's nerves in the process was just a plus and what was needed to push these opposites towards each other.
When Anthony finds out where Lorelei is working he tries to make up with her and win her back. She realizes it for what it is and so does Mac once he knows Anthony's a lawyer in the DA's office. She already told him she had no interest in getting back together and she was going to show Mac and everyone else she did not do what she was accused of and fired for. Both set off with their own plan to make sure Anthony doesn't get what he wants.
I gave this a 4-star rating and a 3-spicy rating. The crazy get on your nerves back and forth between Mac and Lorelei was hilarious. How they didn't end up killing each other is amazing, I never would have had that control if I was her. Lorelei is a woman to admire for hitting bottom and climbing her way back up to be even better with a strong supportive man by her side getting on her nerves. I can't wait to see which book is next cause I'll be reading it for sure.

Jewelz has truly outdone herself with this one! I think Ayden 'Mac' Monroe is now my favorite, and that is a, 'Mac Truth!'
Lorelei is hysterical. Her comebacks and the way she handles Mac actually had me laughing out loud while reading. She is definitely a force to be reckoned with! Watch out for those heels. They just might be used as a weapon!
The playful banter between Lorelei and Mac is so refreshing and real.
Finding a purpose with one another is a priceless moment that these two characters were able to share with us.
Seeing characters who are willing to 'take a risk' is such an enjoyable read.
I highly recommend this book. It was a quick read filled with the excitement you would expect from The Vodoo Troops, and there were appearances from all of our favorite members, the old ladies and the kids. After all the Troops are growing!

Mac returns from active duty to find his dreams are in shatters, and he throws himself into his MC and building his business. Lorelei is a spitfire and a force to be reckoned with, and when her dreams fall apart, she returns home to her family, and has daily fights with her new boss Mac.
This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, humor, witty banter, engaging and realistic characters, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, fun, and steamy, heartwarming page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

New author for me. I really enjoyed the book.
Will have to go back and read the rest of the series as this is number 9 in the Voodoo troops MC series.
Lorelai and Mac were fun together. Both having to rebuild their lives after dreams had been shattered.
Their witty arguments and chemistry together play off each other to make the reader laugh out loud.

This was a brand new author for us and we enjoyed our first read by them.
We loved this one it was full of suspense, witty banter, love, laughter, fun, and emotion and we have to say we found ourselves laughing throughout the entire story. Lorelei was a breath of fresh air that woman was feisty full of spunk and quick-witted. Mac just cracked us up as Lorelei sent the man all off-kilter.
This was much fun and a light and refreshing read we thoroughly enjoyed.

This book grabbed me and kept me reading until the last page. It moves along at a speed that is perfect for the story. The characters are amazing and you feel as though you now them and the story will not disappoint you keeping you interested and reading from beginning to end. This book is a must read and needs to be on your TBR list.

Holy cow but Mac and Lorelei are relationship goals for sure. They might be my favorite couple of the series. Their whitty disagreements and their chemistry is out of this world. So much drama, action and steam. I can’t wait for more. Epic

Mac and Lorelei are a fun couple to read. She's a little spit fire against his muscles. Cute and heart warming. I love how these two help each other, making a great team and taking a chance on love. Another amazing story in the Voodoo Troops by Jelewelz.

This is the first book I have read from this author and I really enjoyed it. The characters had great chemistry and I really wanted to get to know them.
